Reborn As A Giant Scorpion: Evolution By Consumption Chapter 38

"Buddy, I don't understand. You spent so much money and time building such a huge cruise ship. Why did you want to blow it up?" Walter asked in confusion.
Nansha nudged his glasses and said, "Back then, I used up all my money to build this ship. I spent 100 million dollars, but I regretted it. So I paid you to blow it up so that I could get a large sum of compensation. You could kidnap the rich on the ship to earn your commission, but now it seems out of my control."
Mose said coldly, "Now that everyone on the ship is dead, you have to pay me 5 million."
Nansha widened his eyes. "Buddy, you're kidding. I have spent all my money on the ship, and now I can't even take out one dollar."
That was the truth.
Nansha's money was all used up. Otherwise, he would not have come up with this idea.
He was hiring a group of people to pretend to be pirates, blowing up his ship, and getting a large amount of insurance compensation.
But Mose did not listen to him. They came for the money, and now the employer had no money. Mose angrily raised the submachine gun in his hand and aimed the cold muzzle at Nansha's glabella.
"Either you pay the money, or you pay with your life. Choose one!" Mose said.
Nansha was frightened. His body trembled violently, and he said in fear, "If I promise you, I will fulfill my promise. I do not have money now, but it does not mean that I will never have money."
"As long as you blow up my ship, I can get 1.5 times the insurance compensation. I can pay you double the original price. My friends, our common enemy now is the monster on the cruise ship."

Hearing Nansha's words, Mose put down the submachine gun in his hand.
Nansha was right. They were not out of danger yet, since the man-eating monster was still on the ship. Who knew when it would suddenly appear.
"Brother, that monster is too powerful. We are not its match at all. I think we can retreat first. When the monster leaves, we will come back and blow up the ship. The result will be the same," Walter suggested.
Nansha agreed, "Yes, yes. Let's leave this damn place quickly. It is too scary. You don't know that its claws can easily pierce through the bodies of several people. The tourists on the ship were tied together like Tanghulu."
Oh God, that scene was too terrifying.
It was too bloody.
Mose's expression was equally solemn. He nodded and said, "Okay, let's retreat first."
At this moment, they suddenly heard a loud bang from the ceiling of the storage room. Following that, something pushed down a massive bump from the top.
"The monster is up there." Walter was shocked.
"Bang Bang Bang!"
They heard a few more loud sounds. The celling continued to go downwards. The monster was hitting the floor between the first floor and the lower cabin.
"What are you still standing there for? Fire!" Mose shouted.
He raised his submachine gun and fired wildly at the ceiling. The other mercenaries also fired violently.
"Da Da Da!"
Soon, smoke and dust rose from the ceiling made of metal plates, revealing a large hole.
Looking up from below, it was black, and they could see nothing.
"That monster, why is there no movement?" One of the mercenaries asked.
The other mercenary said, "I'm afraid he has been turned into a sieve by us."
As soon as he finished speaking, a giant tentacle descended from the sky and grabbed the mercenary, then quickly withdrew back.

Following a shrill scream, the others were so frightened that their bodies trembled.
Everyone was stunned for a moment, and when they reacted, they ran out of the storage room screaming.
However, when they reached the storage room door, they saw a tentacle waving its claws, waiting for them. The first mercenary who rushed out actually bumped into the giant tentacle.
In the sight of the others, the sharp claws of the giant tentacle moved slightly and chopped off half of the mercenary's body, making it spray out a stream of fresh blood.
"F*ck!" Mose roared.
He raised his submachine gun and pointed it at the hateful monster.
He fired a full clip of bullets.
The powerful recoil made the muscles on his face tremble.
Perhaps it was because of the pain, the tentacle wrapped around the mercenary's body and quickly retreated.
Mose roared, "Quick, go back to our ship."
Before Mose could do anything, another tentacle reached out from somewhere and grabbed the mercenary standing beside him. The wind lifted the black hair on his head.
In the darkness, the smell of blood became thicker and thicker, to the point that it made one nauseous.
Now, Alex was slowly climbing into the cabin, where the smell of blood was very thick.
Inside the cabin, it was a vast and messy slaughterhouse. However, in this slaughterhouse, humans were the targets of slaughter.
Human bones were everywhere, and there was a disgusting white thick mucus on them.
"It seems that this place is where the giant octopus eats. It first swallowed humans, then digested their flesh and blood. Then, it spat out the bones covered with white mucus."
This place didn't scare Alex, but it disgusted him.
"So what if it eats humans? It's so disgusting. It has half-eaten and half-vomited. Not only does it pollute the environment, but it also wastes food."
At this moment, a gust of wind came from above. Two giant tentacles reached into the cabin.
But in the next second, the two tentacles seemed to have sensed something and quickly retreated.
Alex slowly crawled to the place where the two tentacles retracted. He saw a substantial ugly creature standing quietly in the darkness.
This giant ugly creature looked like a combination of some unknown creature and an octopus.
However, it did have eight tentacles, just like an octopus.
Two of its tentacles were grabbing two human corpses.
However, while hunting humans, it had been attacked by them.
It squirmed the muscles on its tentacles and squeezed the bullets shot by mercenaries out.
It was a silent confrontation.
While Alex was observing the octopus, the octopus did the same.
Alex had gone through four evolutions and his body length had reached an astonishing 2.4 meters, and he was a massive existence in the scorpion family. However, compared to this giant octopus, he was insignificant.
The giant octopus suddenly let out a low growl. It was a warning.
