Eros didn't know what had gotten into him, but at that certain moment, he just felt the need to kiss her thinking that he could wash away her pain even just a little.

He had seen lots of couples kissing several times every time he was doing his mission. But experiencing it firsthand was a different thing.

He had to admit he was a little bit nervous because he didn't know what to do. But everyone could learn fast including a cupid.

Kissing was not about skill. It's a natural reaction and another way of expressing your feelings towards someone. So Eros just closed his eyes, feeling the emotions inside his heart.

He started to move his lips, brushing hers in a slow and careful manner. He was just following his instinct. He was giving her sweet and soft kisses while stroking her cheeks gently.

It seemed that the two of them were able to adjust as time went by. Eros felt Selene responding to his kiss, following his lead.

Eros knew that he was not supposed to do this but he couldn't stop himself anymore. Selene was like a forbidden fruit to Eros.

He knew he might die from taking it but Eros couldn't resist the temptation and finally took a bite. And now he had sinned but the funny thing was… he didn't regret doing it.

Their kiss started softly but now slowly gaining passion. Selene already dragged Eros on the couch to join her, still kissing each other and not leaving each other's lips.

His kiss became more demanding, drowning her with an overwhelming sensation she had never felt before. She had to admit that this kiss had been comforting, placating her negative emotions inside her heart.

Holding on to each other tightly and with their bodies pressed together, Selene and Eros shared a long warm lingering kiss that awakened their burning desire that they didn't know that they had before.

Though they didn't want the moment to end yet, they had to stop in order to catch their breath. When he pulled his head back, she gazed at him, her brown eyes asking for more.

Both of them were panting. No one talked, just meeting each other's gaze as they tried to calm the swirling emotions inside their hearts. Their minds were occupied by something.

'Is this how it feels to be kissed by a man for the first time?' Selene was asking herself.

When her lips touched his lips, she wished the moment would last forever. She felt a strong connection with this handsome stranger that she couldn't explain nor define. That kiss left her wanting more!

'Wait, why am I feeling this? Did I lose my mind after that kiss? I am not supposed to feel this with a stranger. I didn't even know him.' Selene scolded herself.

'But… Why does he look familiar to me?' She tried to blink her eyes several times to clear her vision. It became blurry since she was already drunk.

But she could tell that the man in front of her was a very good-looking man, even his scent was very pleasant to her nose.

On the other hand, Eros was contemplating whether to erase Selene's memory about this kiss or not. He had conflicting thoughts about this.

His mind was telling him that erasing her memory was the right thing to do. But part of him didn't want to do it. Deep inside, he was hoping that Selene would remember their first kiss.

Besides, Selene would not know that this handsome stranger before her was none other than Eros, her cupid. Unless he would decide to tell her the truth and introduce himself to her using his adult form.

'Árgh! What should I do??? Should I erase her memory or not?'

Eros was still thinking about what to do when suddenly he felt someone else's presence nearby. He heard hurried footsteps coming in their direction.

It did not take long when Selene and Eros heard a deep voice of a man, shouting Selene's name.

"Selene!!! Where are you?! Are you here?"

"SELENE!!"

That newcomer was Renz. Selene snapped out of her deep thoughts when she heard Renz's voice. She turned around only to see Renz standing a few meters away from her.

His head kept turning around in various directions, searching for her. Since she was in the darker corner, Renz hadn't noticed her presence yet.

Selene's expression darkened upon seeing Renz. She was still upset and mad at him right now. She was about to talk to Eros and asked him to hide her but the moment she turned to her side, the handsome stranger was already gone.

"Eh, where did he go? He was just here moments ago…" Selene mumbled in puzzlement. She stood up, searching for Eros but she didn't see him. He completely disappeared just like that.

Selene felt disappointed. She didn't even get his name.

'Árgh! What a jerk… a handsome jerk! I just gave him my first kiss but he just ran away. I'll beat him the next time I see him again.'

Since Selene stood up in her spot, Renz finally noticed her.

"Selene!" he called her name once again before he dashed in her direction. He felt relieved now after seeing her. He thought something bad happened to her.

It took them a little while to trace her. He was glad that they were able to find her through the CCTV footage. They saw her ride the elevator going to the highest floor.

Renz wouldn't worry too much if he hadn't seen her crying in the footage. He was clueless. He didn't know the reason why she was crying in the footage.

Was she jealous because of Meghan's lie? Renz knew that he needed to explain something to her. He didn't want Selene to misunderstand his relationship with Meghan. It was a lie. The kiss never happened.

Upon reaching Selene's spot, Renz quickly pulled her into a hug.

"Selene. Please don't disappear like that again…"
