Eros told Selene everything including the exact words she said to Renz when she was drunk. She smacked her forehead after hearing Eros. She didn't know how she would explain this to Renz.

She said things that she was not supposed to say. She was worried that Renz might be thinking she's crazy and had lost her mind. She just hoped that her drunkenness would be enough alibi.

"I regret getting myself drunk. I promise I will not do it again," Selene mumbled to herself while rubbing her temples.

Eros bobbed his head frantically in agreement, patting her shoulder. 'Yeah, you should not. What if you will go kissing another handsome stranger when you get drunk.'

'Well if you will repeat it again, I don't mind being the stranger. I can just erase your memory,' Eros added to his thoughts, smiling cheekily.

After a few seconds, Eros shook his head, realizing that he should not be thinking such things. It was improper for a cupid to think about kissing his human contractee once again.

'Oh my, what's happening to my brain? What the hell I am thinking!' Eros scolded himself, gently hitting his head.

After a while, they heard someone knocking on the door. Eros and Selene exchanged meaningful glances with one another. They knew that the person outside was none other than Renz.

"What should I tell him?" Selene asked Eros helplessly.

Eros just shrugged his shoulders saying, "You are smart. I know you can handle this. Fighting!"

Soon, the door was opened and Renz emerged from it. He was holding a tray containing light breakfast such as toasted bread, soup, and hot chocolate.

Renz was aware that Selene loved to drink hot chocolate every morning. Grandma Elysa told Renz about Selene's favorite food and drinks.

"Good morning. How do you feel?" Renz asked Selene softly, putting the tray of food on her bedside table. After that Renz sat down on the bed, glancing at Selene.

"Uhm- Good morning too. My head is just hurting a little bit and I feel nausea," Selene responded to him while looking down as she felt embarrassed to face Renz after what she had done last night.

Renz just let out a husky laugh before giving her aspirin and a glass of water. "Take this. I hope it will help lessen your discomfort."

Selene raised her head, accepting the medicine. "Thank you," she mumbled awkwardly.

Renz looked like he had something to say to her but in the end, he just remained silent. Selene was not feeling well.

She was suffering from a hangover so he didn't want to add pressure on her by asking her what happened last night. He wanted to give her time before they could talk about the misunderstanding between them.

"I already informed Grandma Elysa that I brought you here. I didn't want her to worry about you once she saw you in your drunken state."

Selene became more embarrassed after hearing that. She felt like she gave Renz too much hassle last night.

"I'm sorry about that. I think I troubled you so much last night." Selene apologized to him.

Renz just let out another chuckle. "No, it's okay. It's my responsibility to take good care of you. Don't feel guilty about it. Come. Just eat your breakfast first."

Selene just nodded her head with a faint smile on her face. She felt grateful because Renz was too caring and very thoughtful of her.

Renz handed the tray over to Selene. She had just started tasting the soup when she realized that she's wearing different clothes.

She stopped midway with her eyes open wide. Then she turned to Renz, her face blushing red.

"A-Are you... the one who changed my clothes last night?"

"Yes, I am," Renz answered her matter-of-factly.

He was smiling from ear to ear. He enjoyed watching Selene with her reddened face. She looked cute and pretty while blushing.

Selene's jaw dropped after hearing that. 'Does it mean he saw me naked? Damn! It's too embarrassing! I wanna hide from him now...'

"D-Did you see…" Selene couldn't finish her sentence. But Renz somehow understood what she wanted to ask him.

Renz chuckled once more before saying, "What do you think?" He was clearly teasing her.

Selene could only bite her lower lip as she didn't know what to say. Her cheeks were burning red from too much embarrassment.

'Well, why are you making this a big deal? It's not like no one had seen your naked body before. Have you forgotten that a handsome pervert stranger saw you naked in your bathroom? So what's wrong if Renz saw it too? Besides, he is your fiancee,' Selene's alter ego had spoken to her, trying to calm her down.

Selene frowned when suddenly Renz burst out laughing. 'Eh, why is he laughing? Is there something funny?'

"Don't worry Selene. I just changed your clothes. I swear, I didn't take a peek at your body. I'm a gentleman," Renz finally admitted the truth to Selene. He was already satisfied teasing her for a few minutes.

"Alright, eat your breakfast. Take a shower after this to refresh yourself. It might help you feel a little bit better to ease your hangover. I also asked my assistant to buy some female clothes for you. I hope it will fit you."

After saying that, Renz and Selene heard the ringing sound of the doorbell. "I think that's my assistant. I will just let him in. Just continue eating."

With that, Renz went out of the room to welcome his assistant while Selene continued eating her breakfast. Eros just watched her silently.

When she was done, Selene stepped into the bathroom to take a cold shower. While she was taking a bath, Renz entered the room, leaving her clothes on the top of the bed.

Selene finished her bath within thirty minutes. She went out only to find out that Eros was gone. She wondered where her cute little cupid ran off to without informing her again.

"Argh, that little punk, he forgot my words again. I said to him several times to inform me first before disappearing somewhere." Selene mumbled to herself before changing into her clothes.

She saw the paper bag containing her clothes on the top of the bed. She was surprised that he got her measurement right.

"I thought he didn't see anything then how come he knew my size?" Selene wondered at that thought.

Little did she know, it was Eros's doing. He checked the clothes brought by Renz. When he noticed that it would not fit Selene's figure, he used his power to change the clothes' size.

Selene went out of the room after she was done fixing herself. She felt a little bit better now compared to when she woke up this morning. The medicine she took for headaches also took effect.

Selene could hear Renz talking with someone in the living room. She walked over to check on them. She was surprised to see Meghan. Renz and Meghan stopped talking the moment they noticed Selene's presence.

"Selene, come here. Meghan has something to say to you. Can you hear her out?" Renz said, asking her to join them.

Selene just nodded her head before walking towards them. Meghan was trying her best to conceal her bitterness. If not for Renz, she wouldn't come there just to talk to Selene.

Renz got really mad at her because of her lies. He confronted her over the phone this morning, asking her to come over and explain everything to Selene.

He also asked Meghan to apologize to Selene. If she would do that then he would forgive her and forget about her inappropriate actions last night.

"Selene, I came here to apologize for what I said last night. It was just a misunderstanding. I didn't mean to lie to you. I really thought it was Renz. But I was wrong." Meghan tried to explain to Selene.

"The man I kissed was Arthur not him. I was so drunk that I mistook him as Renz. I didn't mean to create confusion or cause misunderstanding between you and Renz. Please forgive me." Meghan apologized to Selene.

Selene was silent for several seconds. She didn't know what to say. She knew that Meghan hated her that's why she did it. Unlike Samantha, Selene could feel Meghan's animosity towards her.

Since last night, she could feel that Meghan was trying to target her and stir a conflict between her and Renz. Fortunately, Selene had long patience with people like her. She didn't let Meghan's provocation get on her nerves.

If that happened to other women, they might create a scene already, slapping Meghan on the face for kissing their fiancee behind their back while looking so proud about it.

Selene was never a war freak, unlike other women who would just suddenly pounce on you and pull your hair if ever they saw you clinging on their man.

"Oh, it's alright, Meghan. I understand." That's the only sentence Selene could utter at the moment.

She didn't want to be mean or rude toward Meghan. She was still hoping that they could be friends later on, just like Samantha.

After apologizing to Selene, Meghan immediately left Renz's place. She was in a foul mood since apologizing to Selene was never her plan. She was just forced to do it because of Renz.

Seconds later, Renz broke the silence. "Selene, are you okay now?"

She just nodded her head as a response.

"Can we talk?" Renz asked her softly.

Selene: "..."

'Oh no, I think Renz is gonna confront me now about those words I said to him last night. What should I tell him?'
