《Forbidden Love: Angel’s Seduction》Forbidden Love: Angel's Seduction

In the evening, Selene began interrogating Eros once more. He was sitting on her bed while Selene was standing in front of him with her arms placed on both sides of her waist.
"Where were you the whole day, Eros? You disappeared again without telling me. Don't you know how to leave a note?" Selene said, feeling upset.
They were back to 'elder sister scolding her younger brother' for misbehaving and not listening to her.
Eros could only scratch his face while smiling at Selene sheepishly. He didn't mean to disappear for a whole day. It's just that he needed to think it over and gather his emotions first.
Selene and the kiss they shared last night still lingered on his mind. He didn't know what he should do as he was distracted by those memories.
He needed to divert his mind away from those distracting thoughts to focus on his mission of helping Selene win Renz's heart and get his affection. In the end, he spent his whole day following and monitoring Renz.
While he was on his way back to Selene's house a messenger from the Angel's Agape Realm approached him. The mother angel noticed that Eros had used his power in erasing human memory.
Cupids were only allowed to use that power after he accomplished his mission so that their human contractee would not remember anything about the existence of cupids. The messenger reminded Eros that he should not abuse his power of erasing memories.
Eros just nodded his head and reassured the messenger that he would not do it again. Fortunately, the messenger didn't ask for the details. He just explained that there was an incident that happened so he had to use his power to erase a certain memory of his human contractee.
Mother Angel was very particular on this matter since Eros had done this so many times in the past. When he was on his mission, he met a girl and consoled her.
They talked and bonded for several hours. And when he was about to leave her, Eros used his power to erase her memory.
He was not supposed to show himself to other humans especially if they were not his human contractee or it was not related to his mission.
But Eros broke that rule when he talked to the girl. He was banned from going back to the human world for a month.
"Sorry, Selene. I was doing my research on Renz so I was not able to show myself to you for the whole day. Aside from that, I was thinking of a way on how I can help you in saving Samantha without getting the attention of the grim reapers."

Selene's mood brightened up upon hearing that. At least, Eros apologized so she was not upset anymore. Furthermore, he was thinking of a way to protect Samantha. With that, Selene sat down beside Eros, very eager to hear his plan.
"I already got Samantha's phone number. So I can ask her about her location and whereabouts anytime. She also told me that she didn't know anyone who has a dragon tattoo." Selene informed Eros.
"Tell me. What's your plan, Eros?" she asked him expectantly.
"Selene, as you all know, I am an angel and I am not allowed to use my power to hurt any humans."
Selene nodded her head as she understood him.
"But since we are talking about a murderer here that means he is very dangerous. We don't know what may happen when we encounter him while trying to protect Samantha. If you get involved then you are putting yourself at risk as well."
"I know. But I can't just let Samantha alone. I don't want her to die. I think I can protect myself since I learned some self-defense moves in my past life. So it's okay even if you will not intervene." Selene said to Eros confidently.
Eros shook his head. "I will not let you do this alone. What if you are the one who will get hurt in the end. I can't let you die twice, okay?" Don't worry, I already found a solution for this."
Selene smiled from ear to ear at the mention of that solution. "Really, what is it?"
"I already asked someone to help you with this. Is it okay for you to work with someone aside from me?"
Selene looked at Eros with a questioning gaze. "What do you mean? Someone aside from you? Another angel?"
Eros shook his head. "Another person… a human."
Selene's eyes widened in surprise. "What? Another human? Who?"
Eros bobbed his head. "Yes. I will let you meet him tomorrow. Just treat him as a bodyguard."
"You talked to another human?" Selene asked him in disbelief.
Eros sighed helplessly. Selene had so many questions.
"I didn't talk to him personally but I used my influence. I think this person is very suitable for the job. I assure you, he will protect you and Samantha."
Selene fell silent for a moment, thinking about Eros's plan. "Are you sure, getting another person to be involved here is just fine? What if something bad will happen to that person? Will it not cause you to be in trouble?"

"Just trust me… it won't," Eros said with certainty in his voice.
"Alright, I trust you so I agree with this. When will I see him?"
"Tomorrow. You can meet him tomorrow. Don't worry, you can rely on him."
Selene just bobbed her head. "I know because I believe you."
"Oh, one more thing. Once he is with you, you will not be able to see me."
Selene frowned upon hearing that. "Why???"
"No more questions, okay? Just remember this Selene… I will be watching you in the shadows. I will protect you."
Selene sighed deeply. "Okay, my angel. I understand."
Eros informed Selene of the time and the place where she could meet the person who would become her partner in saving and protecting Samantha. Eros was very confident with this man so Selene couldn't help but become curious about him.

The next day…
Selene woke up with a note beside her pillow. Eros left her a message, saying he would just run some errands.
Today was the day, Selene was meeting the guy Eros recommended to her last night. Eros said that the person would be meeting her in the Cafe near her school.
Selene checked her time. She still had two hours left before meeting the guy. She decided to take a bath first before eating breakfast.
After thirty minutes, Selene stepped out of her bathroom feeling refreshed. After fixing herself, she went downstairs to join her grandma for breakfast.
"Selene, are you going somewhere?" Grandma Elysa asked her upon seeing her get up.
"Yes, grandma. I will meet a friend." Selene softly said, smiling at her. She walked over, kissing Grandma Elysa on her cheek.
"Hmm, my princess is making a lot of friends lately. I'm so happy." Grandma Elysa touched her face, gently caressing her cheek.
"Yes, grandma. You don't have to worry about me. I am no longer the loner Selene before. I will try my best to mingle with others, grandma." Selene wanted to reassure her grandma. She knew that Grandma Elysa was always worrying about her.
Grandma Elysa would always cry at night thinking that she didn't have more time left. She was not afraid of dying but she was more afraid of leaving Selene behind.
Selene wanted her grandmother to be at ease and not to worry too much about her. She knew it would be hard for her once her grandma would be gone but for the sake of giving her grandma peace of mind, Selene was trying her best to look happy, brave, and strong in front of her grandma.
"I'm glad to know that, my dear. Come let's eat."
Selene was very attentive to her grandma. She was making sure that Grandma Elysa was eating healthy food and at the same time, allowing her to eat every food she was craving.
Even a simple moment of eating together like this was already precious to Selene. She would always treasure this, making the most out of every moment with her grandma.
After eating breakfast, she washed the dishes. Their maids were on break since today was Sunday. When she was done, she bade goodbye to Grandma Elysa. It was now time to meet the person who would help her in protecting Samantha.
It took her fifteen minutes to arrive at the Cafe where she would meet the person. Eros peered at her surroundings upon entering the Cafe. There were only a few customers as of now.
Selene chose to sit at the corner side table where she could see the people going in and out of the Cafe. Eros told her the style and color of the clothes the man would be wearing today.
In the notes, Eros said that the man would wear a white plain shirt and blue pants. The man would be the one to approach her so she just needed to wait for him.
Just a few minutes after she settled down on her table, a man wearing a white shirt and blue pants walked over to her table, greeting her.
"Hey Miss, we see each other again!" the man said, catching Selene's attention.
Selene's eyes grew wide the moment she recognized the man standing before her. The pair of his beautiful ocean-like blue eyes, his silver-gray hair, and his angelic handsome face… she would never forget that.
"Oh my gosh! It's you?! The Pervert GUY!" Selene blurted out exasperatedly.
