Samantha stopped asking Eros some personal questions. She didn't want to be disappointed again. Eros said he was still single since he was not yet married. But to her dismay, Eros also said that he already had a girlfriend.

Selene tried to cheer Samantha up as she noticed the changes in her mood. She blamed Eros aka Gabriel for this.

'Sigh, as expected, he has a girlfriend. This is not a surprise since he is gorgeous.' Selene thought to herself.

Little did they know, Eros was referring to Selene as his girlfriend. He thought Selene was his friend and since she is a girl he considered her as a girlfriend, a friend who is a girl.

After they were done roaming around Samantha's shop, they decided to go out and grabbed some lunch. This time Selene wanted to shoulder their bill to treat Samatha as well.

For the whole day, Eros got free clothes and free food, all shouldered by the two beautiful ladies.

They ate lunch at the restaurant near Samatha's shop. Eros was not a picky eater. He also ordered the same food the ladies had ordered.

Selene and Samantha were surprised that, unlike other men, Eros only ate a little. He just finished one plate of pasta and he was already full. He didn't eat rice.

Eros seldom ate human food whenever he was on his mission. Selene was his only human contractee who was very particular with Eros's diet. She always made sure that Eros would eat food together with her.

They just finished eating their lunch when Eros noticed the familiar figure of a man he saw in Samantha's shop a while ago.

Eros's brows were drawn together as he realized that the man on the other table was the same person he saw that was observing them moments ago.

'Strange… This man looks suspicious as if he is following us wherever we go. Don't tell me he is the culprit who wants to kill and harm Samantha?' Eros mumbled to himself, assessing the man wearing a leather jacket, a pair of black sunglasses, and a cap.

Eros was now on high alert with this stranger. He glanced at Selene who was happily conversing with Samantha.

'I need to warn Selene. I should keep the ladies safe from this man.' Eros looked daggers at the man. He was not looking in their direction, pretending he was busy consuming his food.

When Selene stood up to go to the comfort room, Eros followed her right away. He needed to inform her about his suspicion without alerting the guy who was following them.

After five minutes of CR Break, Selene stepped out of the lady's comfort room. Her heart almost jumped out of her heart when Eros suddenly appeared from behind, grabbing her elbow as he gently pulled her in the corner.

"Hey! What are you doing here? Why are you just popping out of nowhere and dragging someone?" Selene scolded Eros, massaging her chest.

When she gazed up, she saw his serious expression. She was puzzled why he was looking like that.

"Hey, is everything alright?"

Eros held her shoulders, meeting her gaze with his two beautiful blue orbs.

"Selene, listen to me carefully."

Selene obediently bobbed her head. She felt like Eros had something important to tell her. She remained quiet, letting Eros finish his words.

"There is a guy who has been following us since this morning. I suspect that he is the culprit we are looking for."

Selene's eyes widened in fear when she heard that.

Seeing the fear in her brown eyes, Eros stroked her hair and said, "Don't worry, I will protect both of you. Just listen and follow my instructions, okay?"

Selene could only bob her head. For some unknown reason, her fear suddenly disappeared after hearing those words from Eros. He gave her a sense of security.

Eros smiled faintly seeing Selene's obedience. "Alright, this is what I want you to do. You and Samantha should leave this restaurant first. Accompany Samantha going back to her shop."

"How about you?" Selene tugged Eros's shirt while looking at him worriedly.

"I will follow you behind. I need to confirm if the guy is really following Samantha or not. If he does then I will confront him myself. I will check if he is the guy having a dragon tattoo. "

Selene's face was painted with worries and concern for Eros. "Please be careful. The culprit is very dangerous. I don't want you to get hurt."

"I know. I will not make you worry. Trust me. I can protect myself." Eros reassured Selene.

"Once you go back to our table, ask Samantha to go back. I will be the one to pay our bills," he added.

"Okay, Gab... Be careful, alright?" Selene said, reminding him again.

Eros just nodded his head with a smile. Selene said goodbye to Eros. She was about to go back to their table where Samantha was waiting when Eros grabbed her elbow thus stopping her from moving.

Selene turned to look at him with a questioning gaze. "Yes, Gab? Do you have another instruction?"

Eros scratched his face using his free hand. After that, he extended his hand to Selene, palm facing upward. Selene looked at his hand confusedly.

"Ahem, give me money. You said you will shoulder our bill for this lunch. Give me cash so that I can pay for our bill," Eros said shamelessly.

Selene: "..."

When Eros said that he would be the one to pay the bill, he just meant he would be the one giving the payment to the waiter but the money would still come from Selene. He had no money as of now.

Selene didn't know whether to cry or laugh because of Eros. She had the urge to smack his forehead again. But in the end, she still gave him her card to be used in paying their bills.

Soon, Selene and Samantha left the restaurant while Eros paid for their bills. The man was still inside the restaurant.

Upon seeing Samantha and Selene leaving the restaurant, the man called the attention of the waiter, asking him for his bill. After paying, he stood up and left the restaurant.

That was Eros's cue to leave the restaurant as well and follow the strange man.
