"Yes, I don't. Unless… you wanna become my girlfriend?"

Selene: "..."

She couldn't win against Eros's shamelessness. He would always leave her speechless.

"No thanks! I don't wanna be included in the list of your harem. We never know you are just denying it. Instead of one girlfriend, maybe you have lots of girlfriends," Selene blatantly accused Eros of having multiple girlfriends.

Eros: "..."

'Do I look like a guy with a harem? Why doesn't she want to believe my words?' Eros thought to himself while looking at her helplessly.

After a few seconds, Eros's lips twitched into a charming smile, and said, "Hmm, does it mean you are already admitting that I am so gorgeous and handsome, that's why you think I have a harem?"

Selene squinted her eyes at Eros. Of course, she didn't want to admit it or else, Eros would become more shameless.

"It's not about your looks and appearance, but your shameless and flirty attitude!" Selene spat back at him.

"Eh? When did you see me flirt? You are accusing me too much now, Selene." Eros pouted after saying that.

Selene rolled her eyes skyward before responding to him. "Just now!"

Eros erupted into a peal of laughter because of Selene's last remarks. "So do you mean I'm flirting with you just now?"

"Gab! Stop talking further and leave! Now, go home and rest!" Selene decided to dismiss him, pushing his back toward the front door.

"Hey, stop pushing me. Let me say goodbye to Grandma Elysa first," Eros said, turning around and catching Selene's hands.

Selene sighed deeply. "Yeah, right. I forgot. I will check first if she's awake. Let's go upstairs to say goodbye to grandma."

Eros followed Selene behind as they went upstairs. They stopped at the front door of Grandma Elysa's bedroom. Selene knocked on the door twice but Grandma Elysa didn't respond.

She wondered if Grandma Elysa was sleeping or not. She decided to check on her. She twisted the doorknob since it was not locked. She gently pushed the door and went inside.

Eros just stayed outside, waiting for Selene. It did not take long when Eros heard Selene's scream.

Eros quickly barged inside to check what was happening inside. When he got inside, he saw Selene kneeling on the floor.

She was crying and panicking. Grandma Elysa was lying unconscious beside Selene.

"Grandma! Grandma! Wake up!!!" Selene was trying to wake up Grandma Elysa by tapping her shoulder.

Eros could see the fear in Selene's face. She was worried about her grandmother.

Eros dashed in their direction to help Selene.

"Grandma… please wake up! Don't leave me?! Please don't die on me!!"

Selene broke down. She already lost it. She thought grandma Elysa was gone.

"Selene, calm down!!! Get a grip on yourself! Let's bring your grandmother to the hospital!" Eros shook Selene's shoulders to bring back her focus.

Selene gazed up and met Eros's blue eyes.

"Gab! My grandma…"

Eros couldn't bear to see Selene crying and weeping like this.

"Shhhh, It's okay. Your grandmother just fainted. Stop crying now. Grab your keys! Let's bring her to the hospital."

Eros checked grandma Elysa's vitals. Though her pulse was too weak, she was breathing. She just fell unconscious.

Aside from that, he couldn't see any grim reaper around so Grandma Elysa was not yet dying.

With Eros's interference, Selene was back to her usual self. She followed Eros's advice as she stood up to get her car keys.

"Please Gab…"

Eros just nodded his head while telling her to go quickly.

Selene didn't have to tell him twice. He would take care of Selene's grandmother. He carried Grandma Elysa going out of the room.

The two of them were rushing to the garage. Aunt Ling and Uncle Jorge saw Eros and Selene as they got inside the car together with Grandma Elysa. They knew that this was an emergency situation.

"Oh my gosh! What happened to Madam Anderson?" Aunt Ling gasped in horror.

"Stay here, I will open the gate for Miss Selene so that they can leave as soon as possible!" Uncle Jorge immediately ran to the main gate.

Meanwhile, Grandma Elysa was now inside the car. Eros called Selene.

"Selene, come here. Sit beside your grandmother. Give me your car keys. I will be the one to drive. I think you are in no condition to drive right now!"

Selene nodded her head and handed the car keys over to Eros. She was grateful that he was there with her or else, she didn't know what she would do. She was scared to death when she saw Grandma Elysa lying on the floor.

Her emotions became unstable as the scene brought back bad memories from her past life. She thought she would break down after seeing Grandma Elysa in that state.

After a few seconds, Selene was already inside the car, gathering Grandma Elysa in her arms. She continued crying as she was hugging her grandmother.

Seeing her cry like this was like torture to Eros. He could see that Selene was very vulnerable right now. He wanted to comfort her but for now, he had to drive this car and go to the hospital as soon as possible.

Fortunately, after being with humans for several centuries now, Eros already learned how to drive a car, whether it was a new or old model. Eros tried his best to concentrate on driving.

Though he was getting distracted by Selene's sobs, he had to focus so that they could bring Grandma Elysa to the hospital as quickly as possible.

After a fifteen-minute drive, they arrived in the emergency room of Sierra District Hospital. That was the nearest hospital to Anderson Family Mansion.

Eros carried Grandma Elysa once again as they entered the emergency room. The doctor and the nurses immediately took care of Grandma Elysa, checking her condition.

Eros and Selene were left in the waiting area. She was really anxious, pacing back and forth while waiting for the doctor and nurses to give them an update about Grandma Elysa's condition.

Every second passed was the most torturous moment for Selene.
