After the interrupted kiss between Renz and her, Selene became very silent during the entire journey back home. She just pretended to be asleep to avoid the awkwardness between them.

'I couldn't understand. Why do guys love doing that? Gabriel also did something like that inside my car, getting closer to my personal space and surprising me with his action.' Selene lamented to her mind.

'Just now, Renz did the same thing, trying to kiss me. Argh! But I ruined it and broke the magical moment? I wonder when Renz will grab the chance to kiss me again? Don't tell me he will just reserve it during our wedding next month?'

Selene looked like she was sleeping but in fact, her mind was busy thinking so many things right now.

'I wanna smack my forehead! This was the first time Renz started to act intimately towards me… I should have acted appropriately. But I couldn't tell him to continue. Huhuhu. He might think I am an easy girl and a pushover.'

'Alright! No need to cry over the spilled milk. I have to prepare myself in the future, hoping I will not ruin the moment. Sigh, I think I should ask Eros for advice.' Selene continued to talk in her mind.

'If not Eros, at least I could ask Samantha. But she doesn't have the first kiss either. I can't ask Micaela since she is hiding her relationship with her current boyfriend from me. It will also be embarrassing if I ask Gabriel.'

Selene sighed deeply. She couldn't make up her mind.

Because her mind was so occupied by so many thoughts, Selene failed to notice that they already arrived at home.

Renz had to pat her shoulders to 'wake' her up though she was already awake, just pretending to be asleep.

"Selene, we're home," Renz softly said to her.

Selene slowly opened her eyes. When she moved her gaze outside the window, she realized that they were really at home.

Selene thanked Renz for today. He didn't stay long because he had to drop by the office. There was an urgent matter that he needed to fix.

With that, Renz bade goodbye to Selene, telling her that he would contact her tomorrow for the preparations of their wedding.

They already informed Samantha that they would ask her to design a wedding dress for Selene and a wedding suit for Renz. Samantha was so excited after hearing that good news. She was happy for both of them.

She had started making and drafting a wedding gown design as soon as the call ended. She really wanted to do this for Selene. She was glad and grateful that Renz and Selene chose her to be their designer for their clothes.

Meanwhile, Grandma Elysa and Grandpa Ivan were still talking inside the house when she entered. She decided to go upstairs in her room, giving them privacy. She didn't want to interrupt their conversation.

Upon reaching her room, she slumped her body on the soft bed. Her mind was still in shambles. She didn't know what she should think anymore.

She took a deep breath several times until she cleared her mind. She closed her eyes to relax her mind and body for a while.

Then it happened again. The memory she saw moments ago popped up in her mind once again. She flung her eyes open and sat up straight.

She couldn't understand why she was seeing that again.

"Where does that memory come from?" Selene rubbed her temples.

"Am I just imagining things? Did I dream about that? There is no way that it happened for real right?"

Selene was still racking her brain hard when suddenly she heard a knock outside her door.

"Lady Selene? Are you there? You have a visitor downstairs. He is your friend, Gabriel," Aunt Ling informed her.

"Aunt Ling, I'm here! I'm coming."

Selene immediately jumped off the bed when she heard that. She didn't expect that Gabriel would come today. She had been busy lately so she didn't have time to communicate with him.

Selene smacked her forehead as she remembered about that. "Oh right! Gabriel doesn't have a mobile phone yet. I think I should buy him one so that I can communicate with him anytime."

Selene grabbed the paper bags on her bedside table. It contained men's clothes from Luna Clothing Brand. Those were the clothes given by Samantha to Eros for free. Eros aka Gabriel left them the day Selene's grandmother collapsed.

Since Grandma Elysa and Grandpa Ivan were still talking in the living room, Selene brought Eros to the garden area.

"Hey, how are you?" Eros asked Selene, pretending he hadn't heard anything from her for the past few days.

"I'm good now," Selene replied meekly.

"I was about to find you at the school but I got busy. I want to thank you for your help and assistance. I really appreciate it. I also want to apologize for neglecting you that day. I was not able to say goodbye to you properly."

Selene was very sincere when she said those words. There was a gleam of guilt in her brown eyes.

Eros just bobbed his head with a smile. "I can forgive you, only if you will provide me another part-time job."

Selene frowned in confusion. "Another part-time job?" she asked, repeating his words.

"Yes, another part-time job," confirmed Eros, staring at Selene with a wide smile.

Selene scratched her nose, thinking about a possible part-time job she could offer to Eros. "Uhmm, what kind of part-time job are you looking for?"

"Your grandma is sick. Are you looking for someone who will take care of her? Such as… a private nurse!"

Selene's jaw dropped when she heard that. With eyes wide open, Selene looked at him with disbelief.

'Eh, is he for real? How did he know that I was looking for a private nurse for my grandma? Does he have telepathic skills? But wait… I can't just accept him without qualification. Is he a nurse?'

As if Eros had read her mind, he extended his arm in front of Selene. He was holding a white folder containing documents.

Selene arched her eyebrow in confusion. "What is this?"

Eros smirked at her before saying, "The proof that I am qualified to be her private nurse!"
