Samantha had become busy with designing Selene's wedding gown. She had lost track of time. It was already 8:00 pm and she hadn't eaten her dinner yet.

Her assistant and her lady bodyguard were also there accompanying her. They were already hungry but they were too shy to voice it out and disturb their lady boss.

Fortunately, Samantha's stomach started growling as well. She decided to stop what she was doing, asking her assistant and bodyguard to accompany her for dinner.

They closed the shop at around 7:00 pm so the other staff already went home. They were the only remaining people left inside the shop along with the security guards.

Samantha brought her assistant and her lady bodyguard to the same restaurant where she ate together with Eros and Selene. She missed bonding with those two.

She hadn't seen Eros aka Gabriel for the past few days. On the other hand, Selene was busy taking care of her grandmother and with the preparation of her wedding.

The restaurant was just walking distance from her shop. There were only a few people on the streets tonight so she enjoyed the moment of walking down the street.

They spent one hour in the restaurant as they talked about a lot of things such as career, hobbies, love life and daily activities.

Samantha was not a strict boss. She was always friendly and approachable to everyone including her employees and staff.

She didn't want them to feel intimidated by her. As much as possible, she liked to be treated as their equals, not a big boss but as their friend and ordinary colleague.

She got along really well with her lady bodyguard whose name was Joy. She was cool and talkative too.

When they noticed that they already spent a lot of time in the restaurant, Samantha decided to call it a night. They had to go home and rest.

She felt sorry for her bodyguard and assistant because she worked overtime so they also had to wait for her before they could go home.

They finally left the restaurant. They were just near her shop when they came across several men, standing by the sidewalk.

They looked like typical thugs who were lurking around at night. Samantha, her assistant, and her lady bodyguard caught the attention of those men.

They immediately blocked their way, not letting them move further. Samantha's lady bodyguard stepped up, pulling her to the side as she shielded her against those men.

"Hey, Beautiful Ladies, good evening," the tall bulky man talked to them with an evil smirk on his face.

His eyes scanned the ladies from top to bottom. His companion started to surround them. Ten men were now cornering them on that street.

It was unfortunate that there were no passersby tonight. Samantha's lady bodyguard was now on high alert, getting ready to fight those men if they tried to touch them.

"Lady Boss, I will try to make an opening. If I say run, you should run as fast as possible," Joy instructed Samantha in her low voice.

Samantha just nodded her head. Her shop was already near their current location. She could ask help from the security guards if ever the men would start fighting her bodyguard.

"Ladies, are you mute? Our big bro greeted you! You should say something back. Don't be so rude, ladies," another guy had spoken.

"What do you need? Let us pass," Joy, the lady bodyguard, finally spoke up to them.

Those men burst out laughing after hearing Joy's last remarks. It seemed that they had no plan of letting them go.

"Why are you so eager to leave? We have just met. Can you introduce yourselves to us, Ladies?"

"Big bro, they look good and smell nice… Hmm, do you want to come with us and have fun tonight, Ladies?"

Samantha and her assistant became more anxious when the three guys started to step closer, approaching them. Joy already balled her hands into fists, ready to strike at any moment.

"Don't be shy, my ladies… we will make sure that you will enjoy every moment with us, right big bro?"

"Of course! They will. We will give them the taste of heaven in our company."

"Right timing! It is very cold tonight. Let us warm you tonight."

"Go away!!!" Joy screamed at them.

But the men just ignored her as they continued walking towards the ladies.

Joy gave Samantha and her assistant a signal, telling them to get ready to run. As if the men had anticipated their plan, others started to move.

That was their cue to run so Samantha and her assistant pushed the other two guys who were blocking their paths.

Joy faced the three men who already reached their spot. She threw several kicks and punches, attacking each one of them.

Samantha's assistant was able to get away from them. However, Samantha got caught by the person who was called by others as Big bro.

"Aww! Stop! Don't touch me! Let me go!" Samantha started to struggle against the man who caught her by her waist. The man was holding her from behind.

"Hahaha, I gotcha! Where do you think you are going, kitty? You are gonna be mine tonight! Let's play at my place."

"Help! Help! Please someone help!" Samantha continued screaming.

Joy was still busy fighting the other men so she couldn't help Samantha. She was outnumbered. There were lots of them. Seven vs. One.

The two men were still following Samantha's assistant while their leader was already restraining Samantha. He even dragged her to the dark alley so that they couldn't catch the attention of the passersby.

He was too strong for Samantha. She tried to elbow him but he didn't even flinch. He punched Samantha on her stomach so that she would stop struggling against him.

"Aah!" Samantha was now wincing in pain. She was pressing her stomach. It hurt a lot. She almost fainted because of the pain.

"You! F*cking Bastard!" Samantha cursed him through her gritted teeth.

She felt helpless. She was in a desperate situation right now. She was silently praying that someone would come to her rescue.

"Joy! Help!!! Please… someone… help!" Her voice was already hoarse from screaming.

She didn't know what the guy would do to her, especially now that they were alone in that dark alley.

It did not take long when he pushed her on the wall. She was trapped by a big man. Her hands were now being pinned over her head.

"Please, no! Don't touch me. If you need money, here… just take my bag," Samantha begged while crying.

But the man just let out a burst of sardonic laughter. He was not touching her yet. He was just observing her as she continued begging him.

"But what if I don't want your money? It's you that I want," the man leaned closer, smelling Samantha's hair.

Samantha already closed her eyes. She was so scared. Her entire body was trembling.

'Please someone… Save me! Save me!' Samantha repeated those words in her mind.

She could no longer speak from too much nervousness. She just felt the man's other hand stroking her hair before moving his hand to her face.

He was now caressing her face while wiping her tears. The man started to move his face closer to hers when suddenly someone pulled him at the back.

It was a hard pull, causing the man to release Samantha's hands. She realized that the man was no longer holding her hands but she remained still in her spot, not opening her eyes.

She could hear that two people were fighting but she was too afraid to open her eyes. After several minutes, her surroundings became quiet.

She could no longer hear any movements nearby. Then suddenly she felt a strong arm pulling her away from that dark alley.

She almost tripped on her foot since her eyes were still closed. The man noticed that Samantha was not looking at their path so he stopped pulling her.

He saw her trembling. Samantha was utterly shocked and terrified. Left with no choice, the man carried Samantha in his arms.

Samantha started punching the man's face and chest. She thought he was still the same person who brought her into the dark alley.

"Hey! Can you stop that? You might fall if you continue moving!" The man started scolding her.

Samantha noticed that the man carrying her right now was a different person because of his voice. That's the time she finally opened her eyes only to meet a pair of deep sharp eyes.

Samantha blinked her eyes several times with her mouth gape. She didn't expect to see this handsome man.

Who would have thought that the guy whom she hated would be her savior… her knight in shining armor tonight?

After a few moments, Samantha finally found her voice to speak up.

"W-What… what are you doing here, Mr. Jackson?"
