Five days had passed and today was the day Samantha was killed in Selene's previous life. By tomorrow would be the time when her dead body was found in the Orion Empire Hotel.

Eros and Selene visited her shop today to check on Samantha. Last few days, Samantha informed Selene that she would be out-of-town because of some fashion event that she would be attending. She didn't hear anything about her after that.

Eros was accompanying Selene in his human form as Gabriel. Upon entering the shop, Samantha's assistant welcomed them.

"Are you here to see your wedding dress? Lady boss already finished it even before she attended the fashion week." Samantha's assistant informed Selene.

Selene shook her head, smiling faintly at her. "We came here to see Samantha. Is she around?"

"Oh, Lady Boss is still in the City Baye. She didn't tell me if she will be coming back today."

Selene and Eros glanced at each other. They didn't know if they could relax now since Samantha was away.

This only meant that she would not be coming to Orion Empire Hotel today since she hasn't returned to the City of Sierra yet.

"Is she alone?" Eros also asked Samantha's assistant.

"She went there together with Joy, her lady bodyguard."

Both Eros and Selene heaved a deep sigh when they heard that Samantha's bodyguard was with her.

"Alright. I will just message her and ask her when she will be coming back."

Eros and Selene said goodbye to Samantha's assistant. When they got inside Selene's car, Eros asked Selene about her next plan.

"What should we do now?"

He could see that Selene was still a little bit worried about Samantha. She kept on monitoring her for the past few days.

Fortunately, Samantha was always in her shop doing her designs then she went to City Baye to attend the fashion event.

"I don't know. As long as she will not go to Orion Empire Hotel today then she might be fine, right?" Selene mumbled, asking for Eros's confirmation.

Eros fell silent for a moment, thinking of what they should do so that Selene would be at ease..

"I have a suggestion." Eros declared, catching Selene's attention.

Selene glanced at him expectantly. "What do you suggest?"

"Do you still remember what hotel room number Samantha's body was found in your vision? If you want, we can check-in now to the hotel and occupy the hotel room."

Eros said this since Selene told Gabriel, Eros's other identity, that she had seen in her vision what would happen to Samantha today in Orion Empire Hotel.

Selene: "..."

Meanwhile, Selene was dumbfounded after hearing Eros's suggestion.

'Checking in the hotel room with Gabriel?' Selene didn't know why but her imagination suddenly ran wild as Eros's hot physique popped up in her mind.

Blood rushed on her cheeks as some indecent thoughts flashed in her innocent brain.

"Selene? Are you okay?" Eros asked her when he didn't hear a response from her. She was just looking at him with her unblinking eyes and reddened cheeks.

'What's wrong with her?'

Eros's voice brought her back out of her wandering thoughts. Selene immediately looked away hiding her embarrassment.

She shook her head while patting her cheeks using both hands. She was trying to erase Gabriel's hot image in her mind.

'Gosh! I am not a pervert. Why am I thinking about Gabriel with his half-naked body? Argh. This is his fault! I can't unsee what I have already seen.' Selene chewed on her lower lip.

If that's the case for Selene then how much more for Eros? He also couldn't forget what he had witnessed inside her bathroom before. He saw her naked.

"Selene, are you okay with my suggestion or not?" Eros asked her again since she hasn't responded yet.

"Hmm, alright. Let's do that. But do you think it will work? What if my vision is wrong? What if the incident might not happen in the Orion Empire Hotel this time?" Selene became uneasy again because of this thought.

She wanted to ask Eros but he was not around. Only Gabriel was there beside her.

"I'm not sure as well. But we can try. As long as Samantha's bodyguard will stick to her then she will be okay." Eros tried to console Selene.

Selene nodded. She started the car. They were now heading to the Orion Empire Hotel. Just twenty minutes later, they arrived at their destination. Upon entering the hotel, they proceeded to the front desk.

"Miss, We want to book a hotel room. Can you give us the Deluxe VIP Room # 304?" Eros was the one who talked to the staff.

The hotel staff assigned at the front desk was starstruck upon meeting Eros's gaze. He was so gorgeous that she couldn't help but become absentminded in front of him.

Selene's eyebrows were drawn together the moment she saw the hotel staff's reaction. She didn't respond to Eros. She was just staring at him with her dreamy eyes as if she was fantasizing about him.

Selene rolled her eyes skyward.

'What is she? A new staff? Can't she act professionally? She makes it look more obvious that she likes Gabriel!'

Selene cleared her throat to get the attention of the lady who was mesmerized by Eros's handsome appearance. She even pulled Eros at her side and stepped forward to face the staff.

"Miss, we want to book a room. Can we have the Deluxe VIP Room #304?" Selene repeated Eros's request.

The staff felt disappointed when Selene intervened. She didn't want to talk to Selene. She wanted to talk to Eros. But Selene already told Gabriel to stay quiet. Eros just obediently followed Selene's command.

'Is she in a bad mood? Why does she sound mad or something?' Eros pondered to himself as he watched Selene talking to the front desk staff.

"Sorry, Ma'am. That room is already reserved today by another client. I can give you another Deluxe room next to it."

Selene and Eros exchanged meaningful glances with one another.

'Who reserved that room today? Is it Samantha?'

"Who reserved the room?" Selene asked her.

"Sorry, Ma'am. But we can't disclose the name of our clients."

But Eros tried to use his charm to get an answer from her.

"Please, Miss beautiful? Can you tell us? Promise, we will keep it a secret," Eros begged her with his puppy-eye look and charming smile on his face.

Selene rolled her eyes again when she saw the lady blushing after she heard Eros calling her Miss Beautiful. But she had to admit that Eros's strategy was effective.

The hotel staff agreed and decided to tell them the name of the VIP client who already reserved the room today.

"Okay, Ma'am and Sir. I will tell you. But don't tell others alright?"

Selene and Eros nodded their heads frantically.

"Thank you, Miss Beautiful," Eros said once again to satisfy the lady staff.

The hotel staff just smiled at him shyly with her fluttering eyes. Selene wanted to vomit blood seeing the flirty look on the lady's face.

Her eyes never left Eros's handsome face. She kept on smiling at him, checking him out from top to bottom.

Selene couldn't understand why but she had the urge to cover Gabriel's whole body. She didn't like the way the hotel staff was looking at him.

Eros just watched Selene in puzzlement. Her expression didn't look good. She was frowning and her lips already formed a thin line as if she was angry about something.

"Our Client who reserved the room is Mr. Jackson." The hotel staff informed them.

Selene: "Mr. Jackson?"

Eros: "Mr. Jackson?"

Both Selene and Eros repeated Mr. Jackson in unison. They didn't know him. But at least, they were glad that it was not Samantha who booked the room.

The staff just nodded at them.

"Are you still checking in today using the other room?" The Hotel staff asked them both, but her eyes were only fixed on Eros.

"We will still check-in. Give us the room next to that room please," Eros was the one who answered her.

Selene's eyes widened when Eros said that. 'Eh? Do we still have to do this? Samantha is not here. She's not the one who reserved the room either.'

"Hey, Gab! Are we still doing this?" Selene tugged Eros's shirt, asking him curiously.

"Yes! Since we are already here." Eros promptly responded to her, flashing his signature killer smile.

Selene didn't know what to say. She just obediently gave her credit card to Eros to pay for the hotel room. Eros was the one who filled up the form for their check-in.

After getting their hotel keycard, Eros turned to Selene, extending his arm to her.

"Let's go?" Eros's blue eyes were sparkling with excitement.

Selene: "..."

'Eh, why does he look so excited?' Selene marveled at that thought.

She just nodded at him before accepting his hand. Eros grabbed her hand tightly as he pulled her toward the elevator.

Selene and Eros didn't notice that someone in the lobby saw them together.

'Eh, is that Selene? What is she doing here with another guy?'
