Azrael continued relaying information to Eros as he was wondering why names were disappearing from the book of death.

"Hey, Eros, do you think this phenomenon has something to do with Selene's incident? You know, many strange things have been happening in the Netherworld right now since that day."

Eros glanced at Azrael with complicated emotions on his face. He was contemplating whether he would admit his sin to Azrael or not.

If he feigned ignorance, it would look like he was the one who stabbed Azrael in the back. He was the traitor between them, not Azrael.

He even reacted negatively a while ago just thinking Azrael betrayed him and lied to him. So he knew what Azrael would feel once he learned the truth from others.

With his guilty conscience, Eros had decided to tell Azrael the truth. He didn't want this incident to be the cause of conflict between them.

"Azrael, I think this phenomenon has something to do with Selene," Eros responded to him.

Azrael looked at him, feeling uneasy. "Why do you think so?"

He became anxious because if Zaki would learn about this, he would surely receive extreme and severe punishment.

"There is something I wanna tell you. But you have to promise me first that you will not get angry."

Azrael raised his eyebrow while looking at Eros confusedly.

"Why should I promise not to get angry? Did you do something that would make me angry?"

Eros sighed deeply before nodding his head. Azrael's expression had become serious now.

"Hmm, ok. Just tell me. I will listen."

"The soul who disappeared today in the book of death is Samantha, Selene's friend. She remembered what happened to Samantha in her previous life and she decided to save her in this new lifetime."

Azrael's eyes widened and his jaw dropped when he heard Eros. It really made sense.

Since Selene could still remember what happened in her previous life, she could alter and change some of the events in this new life through her own decisions and choices.

Of course, that's one of the purposes of being reborn. She had the second chance to live, having an opportunity to change her fate. Her fate would now depend on her decisions, choices, and actions at this time.

After he recovered from the shock, Azrael grabbed Eros's shoulders and said, "I will not get mad at you but in one condition… you should ask your mother angel, Sienna to back me up and protect me against Zaki's wrath if ever he learns the truth about this."

"I think I am in deep trouble. Zaki will not let me slide because of this! So make sure you and Sienna will help me out! Save my life from getting punished and killed by Zaki!" Azrael demanded Eros desperately.

Eros nodded his head frantically to reassure Azrael. He could see how problematic he had become after hearing this news.

"So are you not mad at me?" Eros asked him expectantly.

Azrael glared at Eros. "Even if I get mad, there's nothing I can do about it. It already happened."

"Besides, I can't even report this to Zaki or else, grim reapers and cupids will get into conflict. Damn, Eros, I know you helped Selene in saving her friend despite the fact cupids are not allowed to interfere with the grim reaper's task." Azrael nagged at him.

Eros could only sigh helplessly. He couldn't say no to Selene. He always wanted to help her.

"I know. I'm sorry. I had no choice but to do it for Selene."

"Sigh! Alright, let's just hope Zaki will never learn about this, which I doubt."

Eros and Azrael both heaved a deep sigh.

Azrael left right away after he shared with Eros what was happening in the Netherworld right now. The two heavenly beings just ended up gossiping about Zaki.

After dinner, Selene accompanied Samantha in her room first before joining Grandma Elysa in her bedroom.

She wanted to have a little chit-chat first with Samantha before going to bed. Eros gave them privacy so he decided to watch over Grandma Elysa while Selene was not around.

"Samantha, I'm really sorry about what happened today. We just barged into your room. We even broke the door… and We have seen something we were not supposed to see," Selene asked forgiveness once again. She felt really embarrassed and guilty.

But Samantha just smiled at her faintly. "It's alright. I understand. You and Gabriel had already explained everything. Oh, Jackson told me that he already talked with the hotel management. He already paid for the broken door."

"Ahem, by the way, I was really surprised to hear that Gabriel has a boyfriend. Sigh, I thought he was a straight man." There was a hint of disappointment in Samantha's voice.

Selene could only bite her lower lip. She couldn't tell Samantha that Eros was not gay or else, their alibi would be invalid. They still had to pretend that Eros was gay.

"Yeah, that's true. He is too handsome and lots of girls will be disappointed when they hear this."

"By the way, Samantha, can I ask you about Jackson? I'm so curious about your boyfriend. During Arthur's birthday party you said you were still single so I assumed that you two got into a relationship just recently?"

Selene was still intrigued by Mr. M because he was the guy who had a dragon tattoo. He was the last person who was with Samantha before she died.

Selene was worried that Samantha's boyfriend was the one who killed her. So she didn't know if Samantha would be safe whenever she was with him.

Meanwhile, Samantha blushed at the mention of Mr. M. She had just given him her virginity today. She felt amazing. She was still sore on her private part.

"Selene, to tell you the truth… I just met him under ugly circumstances during Arthur's Birthday Party. We even had some arguments. But just a few weeks ago, we met each other again and he saved my life."

Samantha smiled softly as she recalled how Mr. M protected her against the man who tried to take advantage of her.

On the other hand, Selene didn't expect that Mr. M saved Samantha's life that's why they got closer.

"The night we met, he told me that he had just broken up with his girlfriend. He asked me to forget our ugly first encounter and start all over again. Then we continued keeping in touch."

Samantha decided not to mention Micaela as Mr. M's ex. She didn't know how Selene would react since Micaela was also her friend.

"After communicating for some time, I felt the attraction getting stronger between us. Then he always surprised me with lots of things, making me feel so special. So I just fell for him," Samantha said truthfully.

"You fell for him that easily even though it has not been long since you met each other?" Selene asked Samantha in amusement.

"Is it really possible to fall for someone whom you just met?" Selene added.

She was thinking about Renz and Micaela. But for some unknown reason, Gabriel's handsome face popped up in her mind.

Samantha gazed at her while bobbing her head.

"Yes, Selene. It is possible. It's not about the time or how long you've been seeing each other or how long you've known each other. Your heart will just feel it. Before you realize it you already fell for him and you can't stop your heart anymore."

Selene fell silent when she heard that. Her face was painted with complex emotions. Her mind suddenly became in shambles.

Samantha continued sharing things with her. She was glad she could tell these things to Selene.

"Then we started to get physical. Don't judge me, Selene. It's just that I couldn't resist the temptation and finally surrendered myself to him today," Samantha softly mumbled with her blushing face.

Selene was rendered speechless. She became silent for a few seconds before she asked her again.

"Is it really hard to resist the temptation?"

Samantha giggled because of Selene's innocent reactions. She looked adorable. She was thinking that Selene had never tried it yet with Renz.

Samantha decided to tease her. "Hmm, it is hard to resist if your mind, body, and heart are craving for it. You will just find yourself responding to him."

Selene couldn't help but think about the kiss she had with Eros. She couldn't stop herself from kissing him.

"Ahem, Selene, I heard you and Renz would be doing your prenup photoshoot this weekend. Why don't you try it? Start getting physical with Renz and do some kinky things with him," Samantha suggested while winking at Selene.

Selene could only blush because of Samantha's suggestion.

"Do it, Selene! You and Renz will become husband and wife soon. It is just natural to be intimate with him. Go and practice for your wedding night!"

"Uhm, okay. I will try," Selen responded to her meekly with her reddened cheeks.
