Eros and Selene were now walking towards the elevator. Both of them were still thinking about the strange man who just ran away in a hurry.

While waiting for the lift, Eros asked Selene about the man.

"Selene, do you know that man?" asked Eros, his eyes filled with curiosity.

Selene shook her head right away. "No, I am also wondering how he knows my name. He called my name. When I asked him if he knew me, he suddenly ran away."

"He is weird and acting very strangely," Selene added.

Eros squinted his eyes at her and started ranting at her. "If you don't know him then why did you let him touch your face?!"

"Gosh, Selene, can't you be more careful around a stranger? What if he is a bad guy?" Eros added.

Selene: "..."

Selene just bit her lower lip, feeling a little bit guilty. Eros had a point.

He was nagging her because he was worried about her safety. He suspected that the man was the dark soul who escaped the Netherworld.

No wonder he sensed a different aura from him. If that person was indeed the soul Azrael was searching for, now Eros understood while they had difficulty finding the soul. He already possessed a human body.

Eros could imagine this kind of trouble. Two human souls in one body? That's the reason he could see a mixed aura emanating from him this morning.

Then he glanced worriedly at Selene.

'Is the soul related to Selene? It looks like he knew Grandma Elysa and Selene. God, why did strange things keep on happening when it came to Selene?'

Eros remembered Azrael's words. He told him that the day the soul escaped from the Netherworld was also the day Selene died accidentally.

'Damn! Don't tell me those two incidents are connected to each other?!' Eros couldn't help but speculate.

He had a nagging feeling about this. It seemed that there was something more to the story that day aside from Selene's untimely death and the soul who escaped from the Netherworld.

Eros snapped back to the present when Selene tapped his shoulder. He was lost in his thoughts that he failed to notice that the elevator had stopped on their floor.

"Gab, are you coming or not?" Selene asked Eros when he remained rooted in his spot. She already stepped inside the elevator.

Eros just nodded his head before following Selene.

"Have you seen my grandma?" She asked him.

"I think she went back into her room."

Eros saw Grandma Elysa leaving the pool area a while ago. He was about to follow her but the elevator already closed. When he checked it, he saw that the elevator stopped on the floor where Grandma Elysa's room was located.

"Ok, do you have her extra keycard right?"

Eros nodded as a response.

"I will borrow it. I will go to her room," Selene said while worrying about her grandmother. She suddenly disappeared a while ago without letting her know.

"I'll come with you. I am her nurse. I also need to check on her."

Eros didn't want to leave Selene and Grandma Elysa alone. What if the dark soul would come again to approach them.

Eros was not sure if that soul was harmless or not. But he heard from Azrael that a soul killed a person so he assumed he was dangerous.

'I should protect Selene and her grandmother,' Eros told himself.

Ding!

The elevator reached their floor. When the door opened, Selene and Eros stepped out of the elevator.

As they passed through the hallway, Eros was on high alert, keeping watch of his surroundings. He didn't know if Azrael and his team were able to capture the soul.

'I hope they caught him already. I have to see Azrael later and ask him about that soul.' Eros made a mental note.

Soon, Eros and Selene reached Grandma Elysa's room. When they entered her room, they saw her sound asleep in her bed.

She looked tired and pale. Eros frowned when he checked her temperature. She was having a fever.

"Selene, don't leave here okay? I will just get the medicine kit in my room. Stay with your grandma." Eros said before leaving the room.

Selene sat down on the edge of Grandma Elysa's bed. She placed her palm over her forehead. Indeed, her grandma's temperature was hot.

After a few seconds, Eros came back with the medicine kit. He needed to check her temperature using the thermometer.

Eros took care of Grandma, gently injecting some medicine on her body without waking her up. Selene just watched them, her heart filled with worries and concerns for her grandmother.

"Don't worry, Selene. Your grandma will just be fine. This is just a normal fever," Eros softly told her to console her and lessen her worries.

Selene bobbed her head, smiling faintly. It did not take long when they heard the sound of the doorbell. It was Renz.

He was done changing his clothes and decided to visit Grandma Elysa's room. Selene messaged him that she was inside her grandmother's suite.

Since Renz was there to accompany Selene and Grandma Elysa, Eros went out. He tried to roam around the hotel using his cupid form.

With this form, he can wander freely without worrying about humans seeing him passing through the walls. He could also move fast and could catch up with the speed of the grim reapers.

He wanted to know if the group of elite grim reapers succeeded in catching the escaped soul. He also planned on getting information from Azrael about that soul.

It did not take long when he finally found Azrael on the rooftop of the hotel. He had an ugly expression on his face.

"What's wrong with your face? Don't tell me the soul escaped again?" Eros asked him curiously.

Azrael sighed deeply before answering Eros.

"He did! It is hard to find him as he learned to conceal his aura when he merged with the human body."

Eros nodded his head. It was really hard indeed since they also needed to be careful not to harm the human.

As if a light bulb turned on in Eros's mind, he found a bright idea that could benefit the two of them.

"Azrael, I have an idea. I think I can help you with your problem!"
