During their breakfast, Selene kept on glancing at Gabriel. She was observing his condition.

Selene felt relieved when she noticed that Eros was very lively. He looked fine now compared to last night.

'I still couldn't believe that my cute and adorable little angel is a very handsome and charming man. No wonder, I can see some similarities between the two. Gabriel is also giving me the same familiar vibe as Eros,' Selene thought to herself.

Selene was lost in her thoughts while staring intently at Eros. After a while, Eros also looked in her direction. He met her gaze.

Eros smiled after catching Selene who was stealing a glance at him. She looked away, feigning innocence.

Meanwhile, Samantha was busy entertaining Azrael who was very quiet and shy. He didn't talk much but Samantha kept asking him some random questions to make him speak.

"Who confessed first between you and Gabriel?"

"Gabriel."

"What do you like about Gabriel?"

Azrael's brows twitched. 'I don't know. He is so annoying!'

"His looks," he promptly said, making Samantha burst into peals of laughter.

In every question of Samantha, Azrael would just give her a short response. But Samantha didn't mind as long as Azrael was actively responding to her.

"Azrael, where did you meet Gabriel?"

"Carnation Street Block # 143, City of Sierra," Azrael plainly answered her.

Samantha couldn't help but tease him.

"Gosh, you even remember the street and block number. You are so sweet and sentimental Azie."

Azrael frowned when he heard that. He turned to Samantha, giving her a questioning gaze.

"Azie?! Who's that?"

Samantha giggled because of his confused but adorable expression.

'He looks like a cold, fierce, and a bad boy-type of man. But after talking to him, I realized that Azrael is too innocent. He could easily blush as well,' Samantha thought to herself, smiling widely.

"Azie… it's you Azrael. I just shortened your name. It sounds nice, right? From now on, I will call you Azie. You can also call me Sam." Samantha mumbled cheerfully.

She couldn't explain why but she was fond of Azrael and Eros. This was not because of their good looks. But there was something in them that made her feel comfortable and secure.

She felt like these two men were the type of men whom women could rely on.

On the other hand, Azrael was amused by Samantha. She was so friendly and approachable just like Selene.

"Azie… I like it," Azrael responded, his lips curled up into a faint smile.

"I hope we can be good friends as well!" Samantha extended her right hand to Azrael for a handshake.

Azrael moved his gaze from Samantha's smiling face to her right hand.

'Making friends with a human? Is that possible? Eros is the only being I could consider a friend right now. I am not even befriending my fellow grim reapers. Can I really make her become my friend? She is just a human.'

After contemplating for several seconds, he accepted Samantha's hand while nodding his head.

"Nice! Let's be friends from now on, Azie!"

"Okay," Azrael simply responded.

Eros, who was just listening to their conversation, couldn't help but roll his eyes.

'Azrael is good at nagging me. But when he is talking to women, he is just a man of a few words. He is so rigid and has a low EQ! How can he make Mother Angel Sienna take notice of him?'

Eros shook his head and clicked his tongue while watching Azrael.

'Grim reapers always look serious while we cupids, look playful and jolly. That's one of our differences.' Eros added to his thoughts.

'Azrael needs more practice on how to interact with humans.'

Meanwhile, Micaela was also very quiet today. She was still thinking why she suddenly fainted last night.

'Am I pregnant? Of course not! Mr. M and I are always cautious and have protection whenever we do the deed. But I can't understand why I don't remember anything.'

Micaela was still figuring out what happened to her when her gaze moved to Selene and Renz.

Renz was very attentive to Selene. He was not even paying attention to others. He was also avoiding looking at Micaela.

Because of that, Micaela felt annoyed. She didn't know when she would get another chance to talk to Renz.

'I think I should ask Arthur to give me Renz's personal number.' Micaela thought to herself.

After breakfast, everyone went back to their respective room to get their belongings. They were about to check out from the resort.

Renz didn't leave Selene's side so Micaela didn't find an opportunity to approach Renz. When she saw Arthur, Noel, and Declan, Micaela went to greet them.

"Oh, you are the sexy bunny girl during Renz's Bachelor Party," Noel said enthusiastically.

Micaela just smiled at him faintly.

"What a coincidence right? She is one of Selene's friends! Why were you there, instead of attending Selene's party?" Declan asked her curiously.

"I was doing my part-time job to earn money that night. I needed it to pay for my tuition. So, thank you, sir Arthur, for hiring us that night!" Micaela used the same alibi she told Renz.

"Oh, it's nothing. It was Jackson who recommended your group. I could say that you were all good at entertaining us!" Arthur said to Micaela meaningfully.

"Don't worry about us. Your secret is safe with us! Selene will never know," he added, his eyes moving from her face going down her sexy figure. Arthur was checking Micaela out from head to toe.

Micaela smiled at them sweetly before slightly bowing her head. "Thank you. I would really appreciate that."

"Oh, Micaela, don't do that. Haha. Don't be so polite. Just act naturally and comfortably with us." Arthur said, letting out a soft chuckle.

"By the way, why are you still here?"

"Can I ask something from you, Arthur?"

"Sure. Anything for a beautiful lady!" Arthur said, holding her hand and planting a soft kiss at the back of her palm.

Micaela just gave him a forced smile. She had to endure it since she needed something from him.

She moved closer to Arthur and whispered something. At first, Arthur frowned when he heard her words.

But when Micaela kissed him on his right cheek while giving him her phone number, Arthur nodded his head with a smirk on his face.

After getting what she needed, Micaela proceeded to her room. She left the resort first.

Micaela had no idea that someone was already tailing her. It was Azrael. He decided to keep an eye on Micaela today. They never knew when the dark soul would try to harm her once again.

Micaela grabbed a taxi and dropped by the flower shop. Azrael was following her.

"Hmm, where is she going with those flowers?" Azrael thought to himself.

Azrael felt like he was a detective and a spy right now, spying and monitoring Micaela's movement. He was amazed to find out that Eros and Selene were not only focusing on their mission of winning Renz's heart.

They were also trying to investigate the root cause of that incident. Azrael only saw a glimpse of the truth so he didn't really know what Micaela's motive was by creating a fake scenario.

'Who is she targeting? Selene or Renz? Why did she hire a person to kidnap her own self? Did Selene get only involved by accident because she was with Micaela at that time?'

There were lots of questions running in Azrael's mind right now.

"Eros's mission this time is more fun and exciting. I feel like there are lots of things that will unfold later on."

"Argh! I want to be a cupid! This kind of mission is so exciting! Why did I become a grim reaper, instead of a cupid?!" Azrael lamented to himself.

After buying the flowers, Micaela went back to the taxi cab that was waiting for her outside the flower shop.

The car started to move again. As usual, Azrael was following her. So far he didn't see any sign of the dark soul.

"Hmm, she is safe for now. I can feel the hatred and blazing rage emanating from the dark soul last night. He had an intent to kill."

After assessing the situation, Azrael's eyes widened in realization.

"Don't tell me the dark soul found out what happened to Selene… about Micaela's betrayal! Oh my G! Did the dark soul also visit the Divine Tree of Truth?! This is the only explanation if the dark soul learned everything about what happened to Selene!"
