Eros's lips were gently brushing her lips. Selene was mesmerized again by Eros. Instead of pushing him away, Selene was returning his kiss.

She didn't know why she was acting like this when it came to him. Although she didn't want this to happen because she was thinking about Renz, her body had a mind of its own.

She closed her eyes as she savored this kiss. What was she thinking as of this moment?

'This might be the last time I will be kissing him. Yeah, just for tonight. I know it's wrong. But why does my heart crave for this?'

Selene raised her hands and anchored them around Eros's neck. Eros moved closer to her. His hand was gripping her waist while the other one was holding her head in place.

He trapped her in that wall, his body pressing against hers as they continued kissing.

Eros had let go of everything. He didn't like to restrict himself anymore. He wanted to make Selene his woman if that's the only way he could protect her heart from being broken again by the same man.

Azrael told him what Renz did today. He hated him for that. He met Micaela behind Selene's back and they kissed. Something was going on between Renz and Micaela.

They started betraying Selene again. Eros could not forgive them for that. He would rather steal Selene from Renz than help her to win Renz's heart.

Eros thought that Renz didn't deserve Selene's pure love. He would just hurt her over and over again.

But Eros didn't have the heart to tell Selene that Renz betrayed her again. She was going to break herself once again. He didn't want her to cry because of that guy.

Eros had decided to win Selene's heart. If he could replace Renz in her heart then Selene would not be sad nor hurt even after knowing the betrayal of Renz and Micaela.

'I am breaking Cupid's rules. I am neglecting my duty and I don't want to continue it. I don't care if I will get punished because of this. But the thing I couldn't bear to happen is to see Selene crying because of an unworthy man.'

Eros deepened the kiss. His gentle kiss turned into an aggressive and hungry one. He nibbled on her lower and upper lips, encouraging Selene to open her mouth for him.

Selene parted her lips, giving Eros what he wanted. He plunged his tongue inside her mouth, exploring and tasting her. He would never get tired of her sweetness. He was already addicted to her.

After a while, Eros lifted her and walked towards the bed. They were still kissing each other.

Then Selene just found herself lying on the bed while Eros was on top of her. He had already put her down.

After that long deep kiss, the two of them were now gasping for air. The only sound they could hear inside her room was their heavy breathing and the rapid beating of their hearts.

Selene could not utter a word. She was overwhelmed by Eros's words and passionate kiss. She couldn't believe that she allowed him to kiss her over and over again.

Eros's last words were still resounding in her ears.

{ "What should I do now? I want you for myself." }

'Eros, why are you doing this to me? I am about to get married to the man I love. Why are you saying this to me?' Selene had conflicting thoughts about this.

"Eros, you are not supposed to do this…" Selene finally found her voice to speak up.

"I am about to get married. This is not part of our contract."

Selene had to remind Eros but it seemed that she was also reminding herself.

"You should leave my room now. You are not supposed to be here."

Selene pressed her hands on Eros's chest, gently pushing him away. But Eros stayed still, not moving in his current position.

"I know. I know I am not supposed to be here and I am not supposed to do this. I am also aware that only one day is left before you become Renz's wife."

"But Selene… What should I do if my heart wants you?"

Selene was rendered speechless again. How could he say that? He was a cupid. He was an angel and Selene was just a human.

"Eros… please leave. I will pretend that I didn't hear this. Just stick to our contract. Don't make things complicated!"

"Selene, can't you feel it? The attraction between us?"

Selene sighed deeply. There was a slight crease on her forehead as she frowned.

"Eros… please… leave my room now."

Selene could also feel the attraction Eros was talking about but she didn't want to acknowledge it.

She couldn't acknowledge it, especially now that she learned that Gabriel was Eros, her cupid.

Eros rolled over and lay down beside her. He didn't want to leave her room yet. Eros's heart was in pain.

Selene was sending him away because of Renz. She had no idea that her fiancee already betrayed her once again.

Eros turned to his side to look at her. Selene closed her eyes, trying to gather her emotions.

"Selene… I swear… if ever I see you cry because of Renz, I will not hesitate to take you." Eros meant every word. He held her hand.

"I will not give up, Selene."

Eros finally got off the bed and stood up. He was about to leave when Selene had spoken again.

"Renz had changed, Eros. I could feel it. He will never betray me in this lifetime. I will not allow it to happen twice. You promised me, Eros. You promised that you will help me."

Eros balled his hands into fists. He was gritting his teeth. He was so mad. Selene was still believing that Renz would never betray her but he already did.

'As much as I want her to know the truth… I can't do it. I don't want to break her heart. And about my promise… can I still fulfill it? What should I do now? I want to break that promise. I want to void our contract. I want to make her mine.'
