When Eros left her room, Selene couldn't help but think about what happened between them.

'I am being unfair to Renz. I am kissing another guy behind his back. Why do I feel like I am the one cheating on him now?'

Selene kept on tossing and turning around her bed. She couldn't sleep. She was still bothered by Eros's words.

{ "My heart wants you." }

{ "I will not give up, Selene." }

"Sigh. Why do you have to do this to me, Eros?" Selene mumbled. She didn't know what to feel anymore.

Selene buried her face on her pillow. Eros's words kept on replaying in her mind.

{ "Selene, can't you feel it? The attraction between us?" }

She rolled over. She was now looking at the ceiling. Her mind was occupied by Eros. She could imagine his mesmerizing blue eyes, the softness of his lips, the fragrance of his masculine scent, and the beautiful physique he had.

"I might be attracted to him but it is different from love, right?" Selene was asking herself.

Selene took a deep breath. She was supposed to ask and consult this concern to her cupid. But now, she couldn't do it because the guy involved was her cupid, himself.

Selene placed her hand on her left chest. She could feel the rapid beating of her heart. She couldn't forget what Eros said.

'He will not hesitate to take me if ever he sees me cry because of Renz. How could he say those words while looking so cool?'

Since she couldn't sleep, Selene decided to go to her grandmother's room. She would rather stay up all night to watch over her grandmother.

She needed to stop thinking about Eros. The more she thought about him the more she was missing him.

Selene got off the bed and stood up. She opened her door only to be surprised to see Eros standing outside her room. He was leaning his back on the cold wall.

'He hasn't left?! He stayed there as if he was my guard...' Selene thought to herself, looking at Eros with amusement.

"Why are you standing there? Are you my bodyguard?" Selene asked him exasperatedly.

Eros smirked at her before stepping closer to her. Selene wanted to step back but Eros stopped her by holding her shoulders.

Her heart started to act wildly again inside her chest. She just hoped Eros would not hear the loud beating of her heart.

Eros leaned over and whispered something to her.

"Hmm, bodyguard? I can also do that. I would love to. Guarding your body… I like this role." Eros said those words seductively.

Selene felt her cheeks heating up when she heard that.

"You… you and lewd mind!" Selene elbowed Eros while trying to push him away.

Eros let out a husky laugh.

"I am standing here because I forgot something before leaving your room a while ago," Eros explained, his eyes gleaming with humor.

Selene gazed up, giving him a questioning look. "What is it?"

"I mean this."

Eros lifted her chin as he bent down to kiss her lips again. Selene's eyes just widened in disbelief as Eros managed to steal a quick kiss from her.

"My goodnight kiss…" Eros mumbled after he broke the kiss. He turned around while grinning broadly.

Selene was left frozen in her spot, just watching Eros's back. She subconsciously lifted her finger, tracing her lips.

'I let him kiss me again. Am I crazy? How can I stop this madness?'

Selene had lost count of how many times she sighed tonight. This was all because of Eros.

After a while, Selene hit her head. 'Gosh! What if someone saw us kissing here? What a troublesome fellow.'

Selene felt like she was going nuts. "What should I do to him?"

When she was done calming herself, Selene proceeded to her grandmother's room.

'Stop thinking about Eros. Focus on your upcoming wedding!' Selene reminded herself.

[ One Day before Selene's and Renz's Wedding Ceremony...]

Micaela went to see Mr. M. He had already arrived from his business trip. He would be attending Selene's and Renz's wedding tomorrow.

"What is your next move? We can't delay this further. Tomorrow will be their wedding. I thought you wanted to stop this wedding?" Micaela confronted him. She had no idea what Mr. M was planning to do.

Mr. M laughed seeing Micaela being anxious right now.

"Relax, Micaela. I will give Selene a surprising gift before walking down the aisle. The wedding will not happen, unless she is really stupid to continue it," Mr. M said, reassuring Micaela.

"Why do you have to wait tomorrow, if you can do it today?" Micaela insisted.

"Hahaha, why are you being impatient? Don't worry. You will have Renz after tomorrow. Are you not curious what will be his reaction if his bride will run away and back out on the day of their wedding?"

"There will be a great show tomorrow. I want to see the reaction of the Chuo and Anderson Family once it happens," Mr. M said, flashing his wicked smile.

"It will hurt Renz's ego. With that, you can easily tame him by comforting him."

Micaela smiled upon hearing that. She would like to see how the wedding ceremony would be ruined.

"You are really clever. It will be only a matter of time before we take everything from them. I will do my best," Micaela said enthusiastically.

Her mood already brightened up. A while ago, she was really annoyed because Renz refused to have sex with her yesterday.

She couldn't believe that he would just leave like that. She thought that Renz was already giving in to the temptation but he still managed to control himself in the end.

She knew that Selene was the reason why Renz was trying his best to avoid her. Micaela was wondering if Renz had begun falling for Selene for real.

According to Mr. M, Arthur mentioned that Renz could only see Selene as his sister, not a woman. They never shared an intimate moment yet so she thought she had the upper hand.

She would use Renz's weakness as a man to make him fall for her trap. Once he fell into that trap, he could no longer escape from her grasp.
