~ Selene's and Renz's Wedding Day ~

The Big Day had come. This was the most awaited day of Selene's life. In just a few minutes, she would finally become Renz's wife. It was a dream come true for her.

It was a simple church wedding. Only a few close friends were invited. Selene didn't want to have a grand wedding. To get married to Renz was already enough for her.

Almost everyone was already waiting inside the church including the groom. Selene, Grandma Elysa, Eros, Azrael, and Samantha were not around. They were still at the Anderson Family Mansion.

The makeup artist and hairstylist just finished dolling up Selene. She looked so stunning and beautiful in her white dress.

"Oh my gosh! Selene! You are the most beautiful woman in the world today! Are you ready to become Mrs. Chuo?" Samantha teased her.

Selene could only nod her head while smiling shyly. Her cheeks were blushing. She was nervous and excited.

Grandma Elysa moved closer to her as she raised her hand to touch her face.

"My granddaughter, I am so happy to see you wearing this white dress. I want to brag to the world that I have a very beautiful granddaughter. Renz is so lucky to have you as his bride."

"Thanks, Grandma," Selene softly mumbled, touching her grandmother's hand.

Grandma Elysa couldn't stop herself from tearing up. "My princess, you are no longer a kid. Sigh, you grow fast. You are now a fine lady who is getting married to her Prince Charming."

"I wish you both happiness. Please love and take care of each other. Okay? If you have a misunderstanding, don't forget to reach out, communicate and listen to each other first. Be patient with one another."

"Most importantly, always remember that this grandma of yours loves you so much."

Selene also teared up because of her grandmother's touching words. She sobbed a little before nodding her head.

"I love you more, grandma. I will keep that in mind always," Selene softly mumbled before hugging her grandmother.

Grandma Elysa hugged her back tightly. She didn't know why but she felt both sad and happy today.

'My beloved granddaughter, I will watch and protect you even if I am already in heaven. Now, I can die at peace knowing that my granddaughter will not be alone even if I am gone. Renz will be there for her, loving and protecting her.'

"Selene, my princess... don't cry. Your makeup will be ruined."

Samantha handed over the tissue paper to both grandmother and granddaughter duo. She felt touched just watching them. She could see the genuine and unconditional love for each other.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Azrael and Eros were waiting for them. Azrael was there disguising himself as a human again. Aside from attending Selene's wedding, his goal was to catch the dark soul.

They never knew when this dark soul would show up again. But they had to be careful and cautious.

If the dark soul was close to Selene and Grandma Elysa, there was a possibility that the dark soul might attend this wedding.

Azrael was still thinking about how to catch the dark soul when he noticed the gloomy mood of Eros.

He was unusually very quiet today. He was spacing out early this morning. He seemed like his mind was wandering somewhere.

Azrael sighed heavily before sitting next to Eros.

"If you are really bothered, why didn't you tell her the truth about Renz and Micaela? Although nothing happened between them that day, it was clear that Renz and Micaela had connections with each other and Selene had no idea about it."

"Micaela looked like she was the one seducing Renz. But that punk… he is so weak that he couldn't resist the temptation. Tsk tsk tsk."

Eros glanced at Azrael, his face was covered with complex emotions.

"I don't want to break her heart. She is looking forward to this day. I can't tell her about Renz's and Micaela's betrayal."

Azrael shook his head. "What are you planning to do then? What if Renz will continue seeing Micaela even after they get married?"

Eros squinted his eyes at that thought. His heart was filled with raging fury just thinking about that scenario.

"I will not let that happen!"

Suddenly, an idea popped up in Azrael's mind. He flicked his fingers, facing Eros.

"I have a suggestion, Eros! Why don't you seduce Micaela so that she will no longer pester Renz! Make her fall for you so that Selene and Renz will have a peaceful married life! Hahahaha. What do you think? It is a bright idea right?"

Eros turned to Azrael, his expression darkened further.

'What? Seducing Micaela? No way! I would rather seduce Selene and make her mine!' Eros thought to himself.

"No! I would never do that. I despise Micaela to the core. I can't even look at her face for a long time. My blood is boiling every time I see her. How can I seduce her? No way. Over my dead body!"

Azrael arched his eyebrow in amusement. "Over your dead body my foot?! Eros, you are immortal. You will not die easily!"

Eros just rolled his eyes skyward. "Why don't you do it? Seduce her. Take this as your practice on how to woo women." Eros suggested to Azrael.

Azrael shook his head frantically.

"I am only devoted to Sienna, your mother angel. I will not look at other women. I will never cheat on her!" Azrael said with so much conviction.

Eros just looked at him helplessly. He wondered when Azrael started admiring Sienna. He hadn't even met her in person yet.

Eros and Azrael had stopped talking when they heard the footsteps descending from the stairs. Samantha and Grandma Elysa already came down.

"Samantha, where is Selene?" Eros asked her.

"She's coming down in a minute," Samantha promptly responded with a smile.

The two men assisted Samantha and Grandma Elysa as they descended from the stairs. They waited for the bride to come down.

Meanwhile, inside Selene's room, she was about to follow Samantha and Grandma Elysa when suddenly her phone beeped. She received several messages.

She would leave her phone so she decided to check some messages first. She knew her friends were sending her congratulatory words.

But among those messages, she saw one unregistered number. She wondered who sent this message.

Upon clicking the message, she noticed that a video was attached to the message.

She read the message first before playing the video.

[ Selene, Best Wishes on your wedding. This is my special gift for you. Make sure to watch it before walking down the aisle. Again, congratulations! ]

Selene wondered why the sender used an unregistered number. He or she didn't even mention his or her name.

Selene just smiled inwardly. She thought that the person exerted an effort to make a video for them. She assumed that maybe this video was made by their photographer who took their prenup photos.

"Our head photographer is so kind. Maybe the studio made another version of our prenup video," Selene mumbled to herself. There was a bright smile on her lovely face.

She couldn't wait to watch it so she pressed the play button. After a few seconds, the smile on her face disappeared. It was replaced by shock and disbelief.
