While Azrael was on the way to the Netherworld, his mind was occupied by Selene.

Azrael had a nagging feeling about this. Lots of mysteries kept on happening around Selene.

She died accidentally even though it was not her time yet. Her name was not included in the book of death.

Sienna sent Eros to him to make a deal, helping Selene's soul to return to the human world and live again.

When Selene died that day, that was also the same day a soul escaped from the Netherworld.

The escaped soul came back to the human world, possessed a body, and killed someone. The escaped soul turned into a dark soul after killing someone.

The soul who was killed by the escaped soul was still missing and they couldn't trace it. But later on, they found out that the escaped soul might be related to Selene.

It came back for Selene. And now, it was targeting the people who tried to harm and hurt Selene including Micaela.

Another strange thing that happened was when Eros asked Azrael to find out Grandma Elysa's exact time of death and the grim reaper assigned to her. Azrael didn't find her name in the book of death and so there was no assigned grim reaper to fetch her soul.

And just today, Grandma Elysa died. Today was not her time yet if they would base it on Selene's previous life.

No grim reaper arrived to fetch her soul. And Grandma Elysa's soul didn't come out of her body.

How would he explain this phenomenon? Just thinking about it was enough to give him a headache.

Azrael had decided to ask Zaki about this. He was worried that this started because of the deal he made with the cupids.

Upon arriving in the Netherworld, Azrael proceeded to the Grim Reaper's hall to see Zaki.

But to his surprise, Zaki was not there. He was expecting to see him sitting in his Asura Skeleton Throne. However, there was no sign of Zaki.

"Are you looking for our Supreme Leader?" One grim reaper appeared, asking Azrael.

"Yes, do you know where he is now?"

The grim reaper shook his head. "I don't know where he is right now but before he left, he gave me orders to guard and maintain the cleanliness of the hall while he is away."

Azrael was surprised to hear that. "Do you mean he left the Netherworld?"

The grim reaper nodded his head to confirm.

"When will he come back?" Azrael asked again.

"He didn't inform us. He just gave us orders to guard all the gates so that no one will escape again."

He had a bad feeling about this. What if Zaki was doing some inspection right now in the human world?

After a while, Azrael remembered about the deadline he gave them. But they still had three days left.

'Where did he go? Is it in the human world?' Azrael pondered to himself.

Since Zaki was not around, Azrael had decided to check the book of death. He would check the list of people who died today. He wanted to know if Grandma Elysa's name was already written in the book of death.

~ Human World ~

Eros just got out of the morgue after seeing Grandma Elysa. He heard that the doctor examined Grandma Elysa to find out the cause of her death.

They would know the result by tomorrow. Renz's parents were the ones who were preparing for Grandma Elysa's funeral.

This was the least they could do for her. Selene was still unconscious. They knew how hard this was for her. She just lost her only family member left.

Eros was walking on the hospital hallway absentmindedly when he suddenly bumped into a five-year-old boy who was wearing all white. The little boy fell on the floor backward.

Eros kneeled to help the little boy up.

"Oh boy, I'm sorry. I didn't see you because you are small. Are you okay?"

"No! I'm not. A big guy just bumped into me. How can I be okay?" The boy pointed his index finger on his forehead.

"See, my head hurts because I bumped my head. My butts hurt too!" The boy complained to Eros while glaring at him.

"And it's not my fault for being small! I am a kid. It's your fault. You didn't see me because you are not paying attention to your surroundings! It looks like your mind is wandering somewhere!" The boy scolded Eros spontaneously.

Eros: "..."

Eros was speechless. He couldn't believe that a little boy was scolding him right now. But he couldn't refute him since the boy had a point.

"I said sorry, can't you forgive this big brother?" Eros said, pacifying the angry little kid.

The little boy just narrowed his eyes at him while pouting his lips. He folded his little arms over his chest while shaking his head.

Eros just scratched his face. The little kid looked so cute as an angel but his attitude was quite the opposite.

He was cold and stubborn. He wondered who the parents of this kid were. Was he a rich spoiled brat?

"What is your name? How old are you? Where are your parents? Why are you wandering around the hospital alone? Are you lost?" Eros tried to change the topic and interrogate him.

The boy just scoffed at him while raising his eyebrow.

"I won't tell you. Elders said that I should not talk to strangers. Why should I tell you? This is none of your business!" The little kid blatantly said, sticking his tongue out at Eros.

Eros could only sigh helplessly. "This stranger is just worried about you."

The little boy smirked at him meaningfully before saying. "You should worry about yourself, Mister. It seems that you will encounter lots of difficulties because of your actions."

"Eh? Huh? What are you talking about, kid?"

"Hmmph. You are already an adult! Figure it out yourself! Alright, I gotta go now. Watch your steps. Pay attention to your surroundings! Bye! Bye!" The little boy said before leaving Eros.

"This kid is weird. He talks like an old man." Eros mumbled, shrugging his shoulders.
