Ever since his mother angel visited him, Eros had been bothered by Sienna's words. He felt like his mother angel was hiding something from him.

When he asked her about Zaki and his warning, Sienna didn't give him an answer. She left Eros with troubling thoughts.

'What did she mean by that? Selene's life will be put in danger if ever I fail my mission? And how come Zaki knew about it, he doesn't even know Selene? Did Zaki really warn her about Selene?'

"Uncle Eros, what are you thinking?" Sach asked him curiously.

The little kid's voice snapped him out of his train of thoughts. They were sitting in the living room right now.

Aunt Ling was on her day off today so Eros was left in the house to babysit Sach. Selene went to the Lockhart Enterprise today, attending the emergency board meeting.

Eros messed Sach's hair and said, "Why are you interested in what I am thinking, young boy? Even if I tell you, you will never understand."

Eros let out a soft chuckle, pinching Sach's adorable and fluffy cheeks. The little boy pouted his lips, hitting Eros's hand.

"Don't pinch my cheeks and don't mess my hair, Uncle!" He said grumpily.

Eros just retrieved his hands while laughing. This kiddo still looked adorable even though he was mad and grumpy.

"Honestly, I am in a dilemma right now," Eros said, sighing deeply.

Eros was thinking whether it was best to let it out and talk to this little kiddo to clear his mind. Anyway, this kid would not understand his thoughts even if he told him something so the young boy would never judge him.

Sach just blinked his eyes several times, waiting for Eros to continue. Eros didn't even know if Sach knew the meaning of the word dilemma.

"Uncle Eros, does it mean you are having a problem?" Sach asked him innocently.

Eros nodded his head. "Sort of! Yeah, let's just say it's a problem. And I am having difficulty solving it."

"What is it?"

"Hmm, I have a friend. I promised to help her win the heart of another guy since she loves him so much. I am helping her so that they will end up being together."

There was a gleam of sadness in Eros's blue eyes when he said those words. The little boy just remained silent, listening to him attentively.

"But lately, I found out that another girl is coveting the man whom my friend likes. She is trying to steal him away from my friend. The guy is being swayed by another woman. I thought he was already falling for my friend but he suddenly got involved with another woman. I got mad and I felt like not helping my friend anymore. I feel like the guy doesn't deserve my friend's love."

"Sigh, if I do that then I am letting the other woman win."

The little boy bobbed his head as if he understood the situation.

"Hmm, Uncle, why don't you confront the guy? Ask him what he truly felt about your friend."

Eros was taken aback when he heard Sach's advice. After a few seconds, he just smiled at him, looking at the boy with amazement.

"You are right! I think I should talk to him."

"Eh, but Uncle… I am curious. Is that the only reason why you are now hesitating to help your friend?"

Eros was rendered speechless by that sudden question. He wondered if this kid could read his mind and his feelings.

The truth was he was hesitating to do it because he already had feelings for Selene. He began desiring her, although he knew it was forbidden. He shouldn't cross that line.

Eros patted Sach's head while smiling sheepishly. The little boy raised his eyebrow, waiting for his response.

"Sach… do you wanna eat snacks? Let's go out and buy something." Eros decided to change the topic.

Sach stared at him meaningfully before nodding his head. It seemed that the little boy understood that Eros didn't want to talk about it anymore.

Eros and Sach just went out to buy snacks in the nearest convenience store.

~ At Lockhart Enterprise ~

The board members and directors of Lockhart were now gathered in the conference hall.

The Acting CEO, Clarence Chin, entered the hall together with Selene. Everyone was surprised to see a beautiful woman in her business suit, standing beside Clarence

They didn't recognize Selene at the first glance. Selene seldom visits their company so the directors and the board members failed to recognize the heiress of the Lockhart.

One of the directors spoke to Clarence, asking him about Selene.

"Oh, Mr. Clarence, you brought a new secretary? What's her name?"

Mr. Clarence just frowned at him. This director was one of those people who wanted to appoint a new CEO to take over the company.

Once they succeed, Mr. Clarence would no longer become an Acting CEO who was representing Selene in the meantime.

They made a resolution before that Clarence would be managing the company while Selene was still studying.

She would also undergo management training under Renz to prepare her for taking over the company as the CEO once she got ready.

However, Selene didn't need training anymore. She was already equipped with knowledge and four years of experience in managing the company from her previous life.

The people who were looking down on her and trying to remove her from her rightful position were clueless about this.

Selene was already capable of managing this company now.

"Everyone, just in case you have forgotten about her… I would like to introduce you to Miss Selene Anderson, the heiress of the Lockhart Enterprise." Mr. Clarence said proudly at them.

Everyone was dumbfounded after hearing that. They looked at Selene with an expression of disbelief.

Selene didn't give off a vibe that she was a 19-year-old college student. She looked like a grown CEO lady with her looks and temperament right now.

Selene smiled at them, slightly bowing her head as she greeted everyone politely.

"I'm so glad to finally meet everyone in person," Selene said, looking meaningfully at the people who were trying to remove her from her rightful place as the CEO of her company.
