Closed Beta That Only I Played Chapter 158

At Ivulich Island in the Russian Arctic Ocean.
"Is it today?"
"Yeah. If Asirante has the normal time limit for Region 0, he has exactly one hour and a half left."
Pablo immediately answered when the head of the Lucia organization asked.
"Then, can we make him join our guild?"
"Of course. All the results we have had so far prove it," Pablo replied very confidently.
None of the executives at this meeting, including the guild leader, balked at Pablo's overflowing confidence.
In fact, nobody has refused Pablo's consecutive offer to join the guild after they had been forcibly moved to Region 0.
"By the way, I haven't heard the most important information yet," said the guild leader.
No one in the conference room did not know what their leader referred to, for he had been checking all the information about Asirante's real life directly.
"We are still trying to tap into Korea's landlines and cellphones, as well as their internet,as much as possible by spending huge funds. But we could not find any evidence of someone mentioning Pablo's trait of Penetrating Wall or Region 0.
When asked by the guild leader, Velita, who was in charge of the Lucia Guild's external affairs, replied with a dark expression.
Actually, he previously boasted proudly that he could easily gather Asirante's real life information with that method. But he had no choice but to be embarrassed by the fact that he could not get any information even after spending a huge amount of money for the past 30 days.
"It seems that Asirante is a very cautious guy," said the guild leader.
"..."
"..."
"..."
Silence fell in the conference room for a moment in response to the guild leader's words.
In the end, the guild leader broke the silence himself and opened his mouth.
"He might reject our offer this time. So, make sure it won't happen."
"Sure. But if Asirante isn't stupid, he won't want to experience the 30 days of hell again."
The Lucia Guild's executive meeting ended with Pablo expressing his confidence.
After the meeting, Pablo accessed "Revival Legend" right away because Asirante would be thrown out of Region 0 exactly one and half hours later.
Of course, Pablo prepared for it by making a small passage between Region 53, Korea, and Region 0 in advance.

And as soon as Asirante escapes from the hell of Region 0, he will have to face Pablo who sent him to that hell.
Pablo was confident as he had never failed to lure his target into joining the guild by using this method.
Anyway, Pablo actively moved to recruit Asirante even without the guild leader's urging.
Why? Because he knew how strong Asirante was, given his experiences when confronting him, and the only way Asirante could get out of the fear of experiencing such a hell as Region 0 again was by joining the guild.
In Region 0.
As soon as I finished receiving the message, all the monsters in Stage 15 disappeared instantly. I squatted down and sighed.
"Man, I was almost killed…"
I left three monsters in Stage 14 with only 12 hours and 40 minutes remaining until the end of the 30-day limit I could stay in Region 0.
After that, I waited without clearing it because after Stage 10, it basically took me more than 2 days to clear each stage.
So, I decided to just step inside Stage 15 instead of clearing it.
With exactly ten minutes and ten seconds remaining, I got rid of the 3 remaining monsters in Stage 14. I was confident that I could stay alive for at least ten seconds in Stage 15 no matter how powerful the monsters that would appear there were.
However, Stage 15 was so dangerous that I almost died even though the root helped me out from the start. That's why it was hard for me to hold out for even ten seconds.
Of course, I ended up surviving, so I let out a sigh of relief.
Then a message rang to announce that the 30-day test was over and I would be given a reward.
Only then did I smile in satisfaction.
It was a really difficult stage. No matter how much I thought about it, it was almost impossible for me to step on Stage 15 with a 7% actualization rate.
Honestly, if it wasn't for the root, I would have stopped at Stage 8, called Crossing the River.
However, I had some regrets about the process.
It was to do with the trait shards. While clearing the stages up to Stage 15, I only got 4 trait shards.
Since I could make a combination with 3, 5, and 7 trait shards, I was at a loss how to make the best use of 4 shards which wasn't one of the combination numbers.

Even if I combined just three shards, I would have a surplus of one shard. And combining three shards had a low chance of granting me a good trait.
Of course, I was generally satisfied aside from the trait shards.
In particular, by clearing up to Stage 15, I could obtain 100, 200, 300, and 400 remaining stat points respectively, so I obtained a total of 1000 remaining stat points.
And I could increase my level by up to 30 by getting a reward of ten levels three times.
Compared to the 1000 remaining stat points, I was not that satisfied with 30 levels. But it could not be said that I was dissatisfied because I had to level up by all means.
In addition, I obtained a total of 10,000 coins, and above all, I obtained one billion golden rings as a reward for clearing up to Stage 15.
This was definitely a huge sum.
However, in Region 0, lots of golden rings came out when I hunted in each stage.
Basically, I received 5000 gold rings or more when I hunted orcs.
So, when I received one billion golden rings as a reward for clearing Stage 14, I frowned right away.
If I had obtained stat points rather than 1 billion golden rings, I would have gotten more than 500 stat points, given the sequential number of 100, 200, 300, 400 that I received.
Anyway, these were just the rewards I received from clearing each stage, not the accumulated reward for the whole 30-day test period, so I shook off any further regret about it.
Clearly, my stay in Region 0 for the past 30 days was not meaningless.
In fact, I wanted to do it again if I could, for I was confident that I could reach a higher stage faster and more safely this time because I had already experienced it once.
However, there was something I missed all the time while I stayed in Region 0.
It was my God of Enhancement trait.
While I was upgrading the Ice Emperor's guardian sword to +2 enhancement, the cooldown was reduced to 8 days with an additional penalty of 20 million EXP along with golden rings. In other words, God of Enhancement's cooldown was already back, but I could not use it for more than 20 days.
While I was in Region 0, I felt everything else was okay, but I was very disappointed about not being able to use God of Enhancement's cooldown.
So, I decided to go straight to the forge when I returned to Region 53 after receiving the reward.
What about my revenge on Pablo?
Of course, I'll certainly get even with him, but I don't want to do it right now, for I have no intention of giving up my growth just to take revenge.
Anyway, I quickly waited for the reward in excitement.
Soon a message that I had been waiting for so earnestly rang.
[Congratulations!
-With 0 deaths and a 7% actualization rate for 30 days, you have made the impossible come true by successfully reaching Stage 15.
You receive the following reward for reaching Stage 15.
: You have acquired 2 remaining skill points.
: You have received the Limited Skill: 'Savant'. (No skill points are required to acquire this skill. You cannot obtain this skill again if you delete it.)]
"..."
Only two rewards? Of course, I liked them because although there were a lot of skills I wanted to learn, I could not learn them because of my limited skill points.
And the skill I was granted was not ordinary, but a limited skill.
For some reason the name itself was unusual.
But I wasn't satisfied with it. I wished I could get remaining stat points or coins.
Even though I received 1000 remaining stat points and 10,000 coins while clearing up to Stage 15, I wanted more of them.
'Am I too greedy?'
Anyway, since I had constantly received messages that I had acquired additional points, I was not satisfied with this final reward. At that moment a message rang as if predicting my reaction.
[You have earned a total of 17,246,775 points while moving up to Stage 15.
-You have received two shiny trait shards.( Shiny trait shards increase the probability of a higher grade trait appearing if you use them when combining compared to general trait shards. You can combine them with general trait shards.)
-You have received 10000 coins.
-You have received a gem with additional EXP.]

My father scolds me sharply. I flinch at the anger in his voice and quickly retract my hand, inches from the trunk of the tree. "Sorry father, I couldn't help it. The trees are just so beautiful," I whine turning towards him. His face softens slightly and he scoops me up into his muscled arms. I wrap my small arms around his neck and bury my face into his shoulder. He hugs me tightly and carries me away from the forest. "Why can't we go into the forest?" I ask, looking over his shoulder to see the red and gold leaves slowly disappear from view as we climb the hill. "The forest is a dangerous place," he sighs. "How can something so beautiful be so dangerous?" I mutter in confusion. "The danger is in its beauty."**Cover by SodaliteSilver**
