Closed Beta That Only I Played Chapter 295

As soon as she saw me, my sister asked immediately, "Did you just log out? I have a sandwich here, so take it then get some sleep."
"Sure."
"By the way, how far did you go?"
"Well, I just kept moving on…"
I decided that it was important for me to move forward and activate a teleport zone far away from the Last Shelter, so I just kept moving forward without looking back.
That's why I started facing monsters that I could no longer kill with a single strike.
But it didn't matter. If I could not kill them with a single strike, I would just attack them again and again.
Even if the monsters charged at me in droves, it didn't matter because although I could only equip one weapon, I had equipped six pieces of armor, including a helmet, armor, pants, gloves, boots, and a cloak, all of which were enhanced up to +15.
In other words, my defense was currently superior to my attack power.
"Then what about the soul spheres?"
At that moment, my sister asked me about the soul spheres.
Obviously, that was the most important thing.
So, I responded with a smile on my face, "365. Wait for me out there. I'm going to activate a teleport zone soon, then I'll bring you a bunch of presents."
"Wow! It looks like you have obtained something pretty good!"
"Yep! I got a lot!"
Even though it was only one, I obtained a Legendary grade item.
And I also had quite a few other Rare grade items.
Of course, aside from the ones I could use, I was planning to give the rest to my party members.
After all, I could continue to hunt freely when the Last Shelter was safe.
So, I ate the sandwich while chatting with my sister, then we split up. I left to go catch some sleep, while my sister moved to log in for a shift change to defend the Last Shelter.

I slept about five hours.
Originally, I thought about sleeping 3 to 4 hours, but the quest was still in the early stages, so I slept five hours because the situation was not that urgent.
Maybe tomorrow I might have no choice but to sleep only 3 or 4 hours.
After taking a quick shower and having a quick meal with my brother, who was also on break at that time, I accessed Revival Legend again.
"Check status window."
[Name: Lumen, Asirante
Level: 107
Health: 74600 / 74600
Mana: 61700 / 61700
Strength: 475 Agility: 1477 Stamina: 745
Willpower: 616 Intellect: 211
Remaining stat points: 450
Remaining skill points: 0]
I achieved level 107 in less than a day.
This was really tremendous, given that the player with the next highest level within Myongjin Team No.1 was only level 38.
And considering that leveling up would become progressively more difficult, the gap between me and the others was clearly larger than it currently appeared.
So, I had no choice but to admire my achievement.
However, the quest was still in progress and I had a lot of work to do, so I stopped admiring it.
So I quickly invested all 450 remaining stat points in agility and closed the status window.
Of course, it was not the remaining stat points alone that increased as I leveled up to level 107.
I also got one skill point at level 50 and level 100.
However, unlike God of Enhancement, I could use the skill points even without returning to the Last Shelter, for it wasn't just items that monsters dropped in the Jaya Plains blessed by the goddess.
[Skill stone engraved with intangible arrows.]
[Intangible Arrow. (Passive, requires 1 skill point)
: Consume 1 mana to create an intangible arrow that you can use instead of a normal arrow.
:The damage of intangible arrows is affected by your Intellect.]
When I left the Last Shelter, I filled my inventory with arrows.
Of course, I carried a +15 Enhancement one-handed longsword just in case, but I still preferred to use a bow. Besides, I tailored my remaining stat points, skills, and items to optimize my ability as an archer.

As a result, I had no shortage of arrows during the expedition.
But I had to worry about other things. Since my inventory was full of arrows, there was not enough space for me to put the items obtained during the expedition.
It was when I began to worry about this that I obtained this skill stone engraved with intangible arrows. Of course, I was a little surprised when I first got it.
Previously, in Revival Legend I could acquire, delete, or upgrade skills only in the huge tower in the central square of every castle.
However, I didn't bother thinking about it because I saw new items such as the blessed enhancement stone or the soul spheres that could activate the teleport zones, so I pocketed the skill stone right away.
Then, I threw away most of the arrows in my inventory to clear out space for more items. But I kept a few just in case of an emergency. This was especially considering that the skill stones dropped very rarely.
So far, I have only acquired three, and it was quite surprising that the intangible arrow was among them.
I even wondered how I could be so lucky like this.
Of the two remaining skill stones, one was suitable for tanks, while the other was a 'Skill Stone Engraved with Quick Steps'. I acquired the latter with the skill point I obtained at level 100 because moving even a little faster was definitely an advantage.
"Hmm. Good. Let me collect some more . I'll probably have to activate at least one teleport zone tonight."
I aimed for 400 soul spheres from the beginning, for I was thinking of activating one teleport zone by using 200 soul spheres and keeping another 200 just in case.
Anyway, I was busy moving fast with a smile on my face like yesterday because the fantastic effects of my items were still in place.
Early in the morning the next day, I shouted, "Activate Teleport Zone."
[Are you sure you want to activate Teleport Zone No. 97 in the Jaya Plains?
-Activate!
[Teleport Zone No. 97 of the Jaya Plains has been activated.
-You can now enter and exit the Last Shelter from this teleport zone.]
I had nearly 500 soul spheres, exceeding my initial target of 400.
So, I activated the teleport zone without hesitation because it was time to upgrade the new items I obtained with God of Enhancement.
The teleport zone started emitting a bright light, then I stepped onto it.
Shuuuuung!
"Juyoung!"
"Little master!"
Of course, I sometimes saw my team members outside of 'Revival Legend' because everyone here was from the No.1, the most important base of the Myongjin Shelter.
But there was another reason why they welcomed me so enthusiastically.
In other words, it was because of the items I had already disclosed through the party window.
It was natural that they regarded me as Santa Claus.
So, I took out all the items I had acquired during my exploration from the inventory.
Obviously, we had to proceed with this quest as a team, and it was thanks to these guys that I could continue exploring.
"First of all, there are 49 Precious grade items including weapons and armor. There are also 4 Legendary grade items, plus weapons, armor and accessory enhancement stones. Oh, this is a blessed enchantment stone, which…"
Of course, I already put aside the items I could use.
I was supposed to work with them as a team, but the role I played was equal to ten or even one hundred people. And the most important thing was for me to be strong.
"Wow!"
"Oh my God! Look at that item! I've never seen it!"
"Man, how far did you go?"

With no home, no family, and only death waiting for him, Jayce decided to escape north to the uncharted Northern Territories to begin a new life. Forced into situations he was never prepared for and trying to cope with his past, Jayce tries to find safety in a place spoken about only in legends. There for the first time, he will make true friends and find people he will come to see as family. He will encounter strong enemies, build powerful alliances, and become a person his ancestors would be proud of. But surrounded by creatures he thought only existed in tales and pressed by the Empire’s constant expansion, Jayce’s safety may be only an illusion. To survive a world fraught with danger Jayce will need to grow stronger with each new experience and rebuild his once forgotten house. ********************************************************************** Note: The story starts slow. Although there is more action as the story progresses, there is a fair amount of introspection and character introduction in the first 30 chapters. Jayce is the main character, however, other characters play a large role and the story is seen through multiple POV's. This is a draft, it is not a finished work. This is not a story that focuses on an OP MC who beats up on weaklings. At times there can be a fair amount of internal monologue. Some of that may be edited out when I rewrite the story. I decided to keep it in the draft because I think it is better to have too much material rather than too little when I edit. Constructive criticism is appreciated as it helps in the editing and rewriting process. Check out my other story Shattered Mind here
