Closed Beta That Only I Played Chapter 305

30 minutes after we left the Myongjin Shelter.
"It's right there!" Director Sok shouted.
At his shout, I stopped the vehicles, then looked straight ahead at the monsters. They were ogres.
Director Sok said, "We wanted to wipe them out as soon as possible because when they make a settlement, they tend to grow quite quickly. However..."
"That's possible."
Of course, the Myongjin players could get rid of the monsters if they wanted because some of them, including tanks, had increased their reality actualization rate.
However, they were afraid killing the monsters would cause more trouble. So the ogres were a big burden to them.
I said to Director Sok, "It's good that you left them alone without killing them because you don't need to potentially cause unnecessary harm for no reason. Let me get rid of them then."
Certainly, the fighting experiences of those behind me were important. However, I decided to confront the ogres because I didn't need any experience in dealing with them.
And especially since this was my first expedition with the special forces and the security guards, I wanted to show off my strength because there was nothing more reassuring than a strong ally in the battle.
"Blink! Blink!
So I immediately used Blink to penetrate into the horde of ogres.
[Koooo!]
[Kuang!]
Of course, the ogres who noticed me did not stand still. They immediately charged at me.
Was I startled by their charge?
Of course, I wasn't because I used Blink for the very purpose of getting them to charge at me.
Then I used one single skill against those ogres charging at me.
"Ice Field!"
Pasasasak!
My reality actualization rate was as high as 65%. Because of that, I could even use level 7 skills, not to mention level 6 skills. Given my 65% reality actualization rate, I was strong enough to easily beat somebody like Smith who had a 200% rate. What's more, I even gained more than 4000 remaining stat points and 60 levels instantly by devouring the parasite, which affected not only my Intellect but also my Stamina and Willpower thanks to my Mutual Growth trait.

Naturally, the ogres were suppressed by the Ice Field I spread, so I immediately cast more skills at them.
"Ice Storm!"
Puck! Puck! Puck! Puck!
[Kheeeeeee!]
[Khuuuuuuuk!]
And that was it. I didn/t need to cast another attack against them.
Instead, I immediately used Blink with zero cooldown to attract other ogres.
I still had a lot of skills available, including Pouring Hail, Ice Rain, and Ice Wave.
While Juyoung was busy getting rid of the ogres, some of the South Korean government under President Kijung Kim were watching his brilliant performance closely.
"So the rumors about him are true. I can't even tell whether they are ogres or simply orcs."
"..."
"..."
The name Asirante was famous from the beginning.
Because of that, some giant guilds always had agents stationed in the Myongjin Shelter to monitor the situation there. Among them was one from the South Korean administration led by President Kim, who also was the supreme commander of the military with the power to command them and direct them as he pleased.
"By the way, don't you feel like he has gotten stronger than before? I'm afraid the President might be so shocked that he might piss his pants after watching this video."
"Watch your language!"
"Captain, who cares if we curse the President when he is not here? By the way, isn't it true that he is always afraid that Asirante or Juyoung Hong might visit him unexpectedly?"
"Be careful! The walls have ears. What if somebody reports you to the President?"
"Alright, I'll be more prudent, Captain!"
The man who was called the captain didn't say anything else at his subordinate's words.
Like his subordinate said, Juyoung was much stronger than before.
A group of people far behind the Myongjin's reconnaissance team were talking while looking at the battle at the distant front.
"We're lucky to see Asirante's brilliant performance like this."
"How do you feel?"
"Well, he's extremely strong. I never thought that those ogres could look so miserable like this."

"Really? I'm glad to hear that. I think Asirante can help us."
"Of course, he will, I think. He will certainly be curious about NPCs, and NPCs that will appear as enemies at that."
"I really hope he can help us."
Those who belonged to the US Holdridge Group watched Asirante's tremendous power in admiration.
**
Of course, I didn't deal with the ogres just to show off my power.
But this was the first time that I officially revealed my power outside the Myongjin Shelter.
Aside from those watching me secretly, I needed to show those following me that I was someone powerful that they could rely on.
Even though I showed my formidable power to Smith's party at my brother's wedding ceremony, the situation this time was certainly different to back then.
And my strategy paid off nicely.
"Wow!"
"Myongjin! Myongjin!"
"Juyoung Hong! Juyoung Hong!"
"We are strong! Myongjin is strong!"
They kept cheering my name and Myongjin's name with joy.
And as I intended, they clearly felt joyous and proud that they belonged to the Myongjin Guild.
Director Sok said, handing me a towel, "Thanks so much!"
"You're welcome. By the way, let's clean this area up quickly and move on. We can't afford to stay any longer."
I had no intention of recovering the whole Gangwon Province, where the Myongjin Shelter was located, nor did I intend to make Seoul or South Korea a zone free from monsters, for even if I could clear the monsters temporarily, I definitely could not subdue them forever.
Moreover, even if I received coins and golden rings for killing the monsters in reality, I would not receive any EXP points or items.
In other words, I had to play 'Revival Legend' unconditionally to grow further.
So, I ordered Director Sok to collect the golden rings and coins quickly, then moved to the 12 o'clock position.
I originally planned to target the horde of ogres blocking the way to the east coast.
There were no monsters near the Myongjin Shelter other than them.
I could get rid of the rest of the monsters myself by patrolling the Myongjin Shelter, but I didn't because the special forces and guards of the Myongjin Shelter needed experience fighting against the ogres.
To be honest, I didn't even need to deal with the ogres in person.
But since I was there, there were a lot of people following us around this time.
Then, just before the sun went down, I returned to the entrance between Outer Building 6 and Outer Building 7 where I first set foot to defeat the monsters.
"Wow! Thank you!"
"Thank you for killing the monsters!"
"Myongjin! Myongjin!"
Loud shouts poured out from the crowd following behind, including those who were watching the situation, wondering if they might be able to get into the Myongjin Shelter.
Of course, I knew why they were reacting like that.
It was because I ensured their security by cleaning up the monsters around the shelter.
But I didn't show any reaction to their cheers and entered the Myongjin Shelter right away.
Because we didn't subdue the monsters at the start, we were always exposed to their potential attack at any time.
In front of the main base of the Myongjin Shelter.
I shouted to the 700 men who joined my reconnaissance team this time.
"Good job, everybody!"
They replied in unison, "Thank you, sir!"
When their loud voices subsided, I continued, "From now on, we will clean up the monsters around the Myongjin Shelter at least once every fortnight. So, I'm going to make not only the Myongjin Shelter, but its vicinity a place that monsters can't even dream of approaching!"
"Wow!"
"Myongjin! Myongjin!"
