Into The Zombie World Chapter 49

Nile and Sissa arrived at the meeting area of the Village Hall. There, they saw Ombit and the others talking lightly.
When they enter the room, the group's attention instantly switches to them.
Upon seeing that it was Nile, Ombit greeted first.
"Oh, Nile? Where have you been? We have been searching for you." Ombit said in surprise.
Nile notices that there seems to be a mixed tone of anger in his voice.
"Yeah? Do I need to tell you that?" Nile said.
Ombit then realizes that he had misspoken again. It's good that Nile did not attack without a second thought again.
"Uhm, No, I mean, we are planning to leave this place, as we are the one who brought you here, we'd like to inform you about it." Ombit said.
"Leave? Why?" Nile asks.
"Those people are going out of control, they are shameless, don't know how to appreciate thanks, they are just free loading." Ombit said, his fist clenched tightly in anger.
Sissa is surprised, she then says something even Nile did not expect.
"I want to come along."
Aside from Goryo and Polonyo, the rest of their group seems to be shocked, hearing someone speaking without notice.
Only now did they realize that there is a woman standing behind Nile.
"Who are you?" Ombit said in a not-so-polite tone.
Ombit had already lost count on how many and who are the people they adopted inside. He thought that the woman standing at the back of Nile was shamelessly following him.
"She's with me." Nile said plainly after hearing Ombit's tone.
Ombit widened his eyes in surprise. He then realizes something in the next second.
"Are you also coming?" Ombit said, eyeing Nile.
This is the real reason he wanted to find Nile. If Nile comes along with them, their survival rate would surely rise to another level.
"Nope!" Nile said, shattering Ombit's thoughts.

"What? Why?" Ombit said, surprise.
"Just don't want to." If his ears are not covered with the hoodie, Nile will surely put his pinky finger on them while replying without care.
Ombit turned his head towards Sissa.
"I will come along." Sissa said.
Ombit is screaming inside his head.
'Nooo, what do you mean you will come along, can you persuade him to come along instead?'
Sissa is not surprised about Nile not joining the group.
She observed that Nile was a lone type of a guy. This also aligns with her plan on separating with Nile.
When she saw the battle of Nile and the Level One° zombie, she already knew that if she still tags along with Nile, she will become his burden. Hence, after that battle, she already decided to separate herself from Nile.
Nile did not stop Sissa on her choice. That was her decision. He already helps Sissa because of the little guilt that he felt, but the moment he helps Sissa kill the first zombie, that guilt had already vanished.
He thought that his action was a little unreasonable, feeling guilty with little bases. Nonetheless, he did not regret the action he took. He will just do his best to avoid something like this in the future.
Now if Sissa still wanted to follow him, that was alright. If she wanted to go in separate ways, that was also alright. In short, it doesn't matter for Nile.
Rejecting Ombit's group is the best for Nile. He realizes that moving in a group is quite a hassle. Even when he is with Sissa, he needs to adjust because Sissa could not cope with him. How much more if there are more?
Nile realizes that he still preferred to move alone. No burden, no one to take care of, and for the best reason of all, he will not have to share the Apocalypse Virus with everyone else.

Ombit smiled wryly. If Nile will not come along, why does this woman want to come with them? Isn't it better to follow Nile instead? Sigh!
"You know, it might be a little hard. We cannot guarantee your safety like Nile did. And, and.."
Sissa interrupted Ombit. "It doesn't matter, I'll get stronger and protect myself." She said.
Polonyo butted in worriedly, "But you are a woman and our group, as you see, we're all men."
"Will all of you dare? The next time we meet, if I don't see her, you will all pay, alright?" Nile said as he patted the handle of the Katana at his back.
Sissa smiled.
Even if his face is covered with the black mask, Ombit and the others shivered. Especially Ombit and Goryo, they experience it firsthand, Nile's strength, that is.
They somehow saw Nile having a devilish grin painted underneath that black mask.
Ombit gulped down a mouthful of saliva as he nodded and smiled wryly.
Sissa raised her hand holding the bottle of Apocalypse Virus and said, "Don't worry, I won't be a burden."
Seeing the greenish substance inside the bottle, Ombit's eyes suddenly lit up. If Sissa could also evolve into a Level One° human, then bringing her along will be worth it.
"Alright. Let's depart tomorrow at dawn. Let's leave as quietly as possible and not notify the shameless people downstairs." Ombit said as he stood up. There is a trace of anger in his voice.
He beckoned towards his group and they followed suit.
Nile sat at one of the chairs and rested both of his feet on the table. He then leaned back and relaxed his body.
He turned his head towards Sissa and said, "You can start absorbing the Apocalypse Virus now. Use the method that I taught you earlier. I will rest for a bit and fetch some food after you wake up."
As absorbing the Apocalypse Virus needs the person to concentrate fully, leaving them alone is dangerous. It would be better if he guarded Sissa.
Sissa nodded her head, "Alright! Thank you for all the care you've given me."
She then sat on the floor and made a meditating position. She poured a little amount of Apocalypse Virus on her palm and spread it evenly. After seeing that her palm is moist enough, she closes her eyes and starts absorbing the Apocalypse Virus.
Nile glances at Sissa before he closes his eyes. 'Babysitting someone is a hassle.' Nile thought. Fortunately, tomorrow he will be back to being a free man again.
'Hmm, meeting survivors is troublesome, I'll avoid them as much as possible from now on.' Nile thought.
After three hours, Sissa opened her eyes excitedly.
Nile notices her movement and asks, "How is it?"
"It's alright, as you said, I could estimate that I will probably Level up in a week at most. It's just that this amount of Apocalypse Virus is not enough." Sissa said.
"I'm sure you will come across some zombie's tomorrow. You can discuss it with them on how you will share the loot." Nile said.
After thinking for a bit, Sissa said seriously.
"I hope I will meet you again in the future."
Nile smiled and nodded his head as he said, "I hope so too."
Nile added in his mind, 'And I hope you will already be strong by then.'
On Sissa's mind: 'When that time comes, I will no longer drag you down. I will fulfill my revenge with you as the witness.'
Nile stood up and prepared to go outside and fetch some food.
But in actual truth, he is lazy. He hid in a corner and retrieved enough food from his Storage Space. He then loitered around before going back to avoid suspicion.
