Into The Zombie World Chapter 114

Small sets of explosions echoed again. Red-colored dust and smoke rose through the air along with the mangled bodies of the zombie pets and animals alike.
"2369!" Nile uttered after seeing his latest Apocalypse Points count.
The first wave of zombie pets and mutated animals that had escaped were now getting closer. Nile didn't dwindle any longer as he hurriedly climbed down to prepare for the incoming enemy.
With his new, peak Level One° strength, Nile couldn't control himself and accidentally broke a tree's branch.
Nile fell to the ground back-first. Fortunately, it was not that high or Nile might have some bone fractures after the fall.
Nile gets up immediately as if nothing had happened. Maximo and Croco worriedly closed towards him.
Nile waves his hand saying that he was okay.
"Prepare for battle Max and Croc!" Nile said as he hops into Maximo's back while drawing out his two swords at the same time.
...
At the same time Nile climbs down, another man could also be seen climbing down at the other side of the village.
The explosion earlier had attracted the Village of Kawayan's, human survivors.
Their leader then tasked someone to go and observe what was happening.
The man tasked to do the scouting climbs a tall tree and instantly scans the surroundings.
He then saw the area of explosions and traced where it was coming from. As he listened carefully, he was able to hear the whistling sound from the distance.
He traced the sound and found a man standing atop a branch of a tree. He was wearing an all-black outfit from the bottom to the top. He saw the man pulling something, and as he released the pull, he heard the whistling sound again, followed by the explosion in the distance.
He then glanced again towards the explosion area and couldn't help but be taken aback by what he saw.

Dozens of animals were running towards the village in a frenzy.
He knew that it was dangerous. He glanced at the man who was atop the tree and registered his general appearance inside his head. He then hurriedly climbed down and ran towards the base to report what he had just seen.
"Bad news! Bad news! Bad news!" The man repeated it thrice, as important things should be repeated thrice.
He was panting a little as one bulky man blocked his path. "What's happening?"
"Desmon. Call your brother, we're in trouble!" The man said with a frantic voice.
"What's the trouble?" A deep voice echoed in the surroundings as all the people around started to gather with him as the center.
The man had a scar on his face and was wearing a black tank top, paired with gray pants. His bulging muscles could be seen even from afar. His name is Raymon, the elder brother of Desmon and the leader of the Village of Kawayan's human survivors.
"Raymon, I have something important to report!" The man said while shaking. He was in front of the two strongest men in the whole base, after all.
Desmon grabs his collar and says, "Spit it out already! Why do you have to be so wordy!"
Just like his older brother, Desmon's body was also like a hulk with his bulging muscles. He was wearing a black and yellow tank top that is striped like a tiger paired with black pants.
"It's alright, drop him." Stated Raymon after seeing the man's feet getting lifted from the ground.
"Tsk!" Dremom clicked his tongue as he released his grip from the man's collar.
The man fell to the ground without any warning, fortunately, he was able to stand up in an instant as the fall was not that high.
He patted his shirt to get rid of the dirt that stuck to it when he fell. He then looks up and meets the terrifying eyes of Raymon, staring at him intently.

The man gulps a mouthful of saliva in fear as he instantly looks down to avoid Raymon's eyes. He then started his report about what he had seen.
"What? Who has the gall to disturb our base?" Desmon clenched his huge fist in anger after hearing that someone was intentionally attracting the attention of the mutated animals towards their village.
He then continued as he looked at Raymon, his older brother, "Brother, let's go kill that man already. I haven't exercised for a while now as well."
Desmon flexed his biceps and triceps to the side after saying that piece.
Raymon nodded his head. The troublemaker should be punished, no doubt about that. However, his concerns lied upon the report about the incoming mutated animal's horde.
He weighs the pros and cons before finally saying, "How many of you here still don't have their own, mutated weapon?"
More than 3/4 of the human survivors around raised their hands in the air. It just showed how lacking they are in terms of weapons.
Raymon nodded his head as he waved his hand telling the others to lower their hands now.
"The troublemaker, we will deal with him. First, we should use this opportunity to kill as many mutated animals as we can, to equip everyone with mutated weapons each." Raymon said with a commanding tone.
"Ready yourselves, we've got a massacre to do!" Raymon stated.
The people around him then made a loud and deafening cheer.
Suddenly, they felt a little tremble beneath them. Everyone was surprised and couldn't help but hold each other to support themselves.
Suddenly they heard someone talking, it was the man tasked to scout the explosions earlier.
"Err, I forgot to tell you but the mutated animals were already close to the village's entrance when I climbed down the tree." He said anxiously.
Raymon didn't let the man talk anymore as he kicked his chest squarely, "What did you say?"
The man's body flew through the air before colliding a wall. He spurted a mouthful of blood before his body fell to the floor limply. He might have already died, or he might have just fainted. No one knows, and no one has the intention to check.
"Hurry and prepare for battle!" Raymon shouted as he drew a sharp-looking scimitar from the scabbard on his back.
Raymon felt really furious towards the man. Of all the things he could miss to report, he instead went and forgot the most important one.
If only Raymon knew from the start that the mutated animals were already near the village, then he might not even think too much about it and instead, will instantly command his men to fight.
Everyone got ready and alertly observed their still shaking surroundings.
Not a minute has even passed and they already saw their first mutated animal. With great enthusiasm and vigor, they ganged up upon the already bloody huge mutated dog that had just appeared and killed it instantly.
They killed in one fell swoop and also extracted its mutated part in an instant.
Before they could even celebrate with their successful first hunt of the day, their expression turned heavy as they saw three mutated animals going towards them in a frenzy.
Considering their numbers, the three newly arrived animals shouldn't be able to pressure the group that much.
However, unfortunately, the newly arrived animals were no longer a normal animals.
They had now mutated and had grown almost a house tall.
The three mutated animals were actually humongous metallic Elephants.
