Boom!

A loud noise reverberated in the air as Dexter kicked the door into pieces. 

"Who's there!" His voice echoed as he surveyed the first floor of the abandoned building. 

Suddenly he saw two silhouettes on the corner of his eyes. The two silhouettes were going up the second floor in a swift manner. 

Dexter didn't waste any more time as he pursued the two immediately. He doesn't know what or who they are but he's in an extremely bad mood right now. No matter who or what they are, it no longer matters, all he wants right now is to smash and pierce whoever he sees. 

Emon on the other hand decided to observe the situation right outside the door. He's not reckless enough to barge into an abandoned building without knowing what was inside of it. 

Suddenly, Emon saw a figure flying towards him. Hurriedly, he stepped to the side swiftly, evading the figure completely. 

Bam!

A deafening sound then reached his ears as he saw the figure smashed itself on the wall situated beside the door. 

"Why the fuck did you evade? Do you want to die?" 

Right as the dust settled, Emon then heard Dexter's furious shout coming from the same spot. 

Hearing that, Emon couldn't help but be bewildered. 'I thought it was a huge fly!' He said as he smiled wryly. 

He wanted to offer his hand as help but a trace of hesitation could then be seen in his eyes. 'What if he cut my hands?' 

In the end, he ended up pulling the hand he was about to offer. 'Safety first!' 

As Dexter realized that he ain't getting any help, he could only stand up on his own. He clicked his tongue in annoyance and swore to get revenge later on. 'How dare you ignore me!

As he wipes the dust sticking on his clothes, he suddenly hears footsteps originating inside the house. 

He and Emon turned their heads towards that area. 

Two persons could be seen walking haughtily towards them. Two middle-aged men with huge builds like bears. They were holding blunt weapons in each of their hands.

From that alone, it was apparent that they were the causes for Dexter's mishap earlier. 

However, the thing that caught Emon and Dexter's attention was not with those builds and weapons. Instead, it was their brown cowboy hats that had pink bandanas tied to them. 

"Pink Surge Faction!" 

The two said in unison. They held their breaths as they gripped their weapons more tightly. 

'No wonder they were acting sus!' Dexter snorted in displeasure.

"So what if you're from the Pink Surge Faction, if you want to fight then I will give you one," Dexter said as he prepared to charge. 

"Ehh? So the Blue Wave Faction's spineless minions are also here? What a surprise!" Damian taunted the enraged Dexter. 

Realizing their mistake from the before, Damian and Burge decided to play it safe from now on and not be arrogant. However, that rule only applies when the opposite party is stronger than them. 

They knew these two Blue Wave Faction members even before the outbreak started. 

Before the outbreak, the arrogant guy, Dexter was supposed to be a timid and easy to bully kid. How did they know? It's because there was a time when Dexter visited the bar they were working, and instead of having a good time there, he became a laughing stock instead after getting bullied by those bigshots. 

Of course, as the bar's bouncers, they've resolved the case immediately, without offending the bigshots of course. 

"How nostalgic, the bullied become the bully now?" Burge said, adding fuel to the fire. 

"Hmmp! I was naive and weak back then. But, we don't live in the same world anymore. I have become stronger and will continue to become stronger. I'm gonna kill the both of you for siding with those bitches from before." He replied. 

Burge and Damian, keep on spouting insults towards Dexter. They also didn't forget to add Emon to their insults. However, the latter remained calmed while the former was already fuming with rage. 

'Hmmph! An enraged enemy is a dead enemy.' Burge said inside his head.

The Blue and Pink Faction was already at odds against each other even before Damian and Burge joined the group. They didn't know the real reason why but there's a rumor that the conflict originated from the two factions leaders. 

The conflict had already transferred to the other members, fighting for resources inside the town. Hence one could say that the two groups' attitude towards each other was already irreparable.

Emon could only smile wryly in response to the situation. He was not very attached to the Blue Faction but due to some circumstances he couldn't avoid, he will be forced to participate in this fight. 

Sigh*

"You two! Just fucking Diee already!" 

Dexter made a swiping motion as he dashed towards Burge and Damian. The sword-like weapon on his hand hummed as it swept the air along the away. 

"Hmmp! Pathetic. Do you think you're the only one who has gained strength after the outbreak? Dream on!" Damian said as he stepped forward to confront the sword coming towards them.

"Hahaha! Nothing had changed since that day. You are still weak compared to us, hence, the situation will still be the same. You will get bullied" Damian laughed hysterically as he pushed back the sword that had struck his club. 

Without stopping, he retracted the club before swinging it again towards the flustered Dexter. 

The difference in strength was apparent as Dexter keeps on retreating every time Damian dealt a blow. 

Metallic sounds and sparks flew everywhere as two mutated weapons clashed against each other. 

"Oh yeah? Where's that bully earlier had gone to? Did he leave already? What a coward he was even bragging about killing us earlier." Damian said leisurely. His hand and club never stopped pummeling Dexter who was already on the verge of breakdown.

"Oyy, you're actually there? Why do you keep blocking my attacks? At least fight back, will ya? You're a bully, right? You have a big tone earlier right?" He said while locking eyes with Dexter's. 

Visible dark lines could be seen forming in Dexter's forehead. If there's an enraged or even an annoyance meter, Dexter's had probably overflown by now. "F..FUCK OFF!"
