Into The Zombie World Chapter 235

"Can you please put it on me?" Jellan said with a bashful expression on her face.
Nile was taken aback at where she was coming from. Isn't just wearing an earring? Why does it need him to put it on?
However, when he saw the form of the earrings of loyalty in his hand, he also could not help but gasp in shock. He realized that it somehow resembled a proposal. And for Jellan to be acting that way, does it mean she agrees?
Nile was not sure and he didn't dare to ask her about it. He was, after all, a loner from his previous life. He only came to know about those things when he watched anime and read novels online.
However, he knew that it was not the time to think about it. Even though the zombie was already quite slow due to the wounds that he dealt, killing it was still not easy.
He figured that he really needs a helping hand to tie the zombie down while he deals with the finishing blow.
He repositioned himself and went closer towards Jellan. He then picked up the earrings of loyalty that had now become a ring, and slowly inserted it in Jellan's ring finger.
And the moment the ring hit the bottom of her fingers, a system prompt suddenly resounded inside Nile's head.
[A new pet has been acquired!
Name: Jellan
Peak Stage Level Two° Human!
Weapon: N/A
Armor: N/A
Talent: Level One° Minor Self Defense!
Status: Severe internal injuries!
Do you want to heal your pet immediately?
Cost: 20 Apocalypse Points!
Y/N?
Upgrade Requirements: N/A
]
Nile glanced at her status details and he could not help but be surprised about it.
First, he didn't expect that she was also already a Peak Stage Level Two°, just like him. He thought that she would only be at Final Stage at best due to the way she fought.

However, when Nile thought about it carefully, he felt that it was actually reasonable that she could only fight that way due to her lacking the Talent, Weapon, and Armor unlike him who is fully loaded.
He was also surprised about her having a talent, and although it was only a Level One, a talent was a talent after all. Nile even thought that he's the only one who has a Talent due to the existence of the System.
And then there comes another surprise, 'I have to pay 20 Apocalypse Points to heal her immediately? The fuck, why was it so expensive. Is her injury that worse?'
If it were before, Nile would probably reject the idea of healing her directly. Every healing lollipop only cost him 5 Apocalypse Points.
If he buys two, and lets her suck it dry, she would be slowly but completely healed.
In Ogis' case before, it did not mention about healing him immediately. The 10 Apocalypse Points that he used during that time only managed to heal his broken wings but some injuries still remained on his body.
However, he was pressed for time and the zombie was also now coming towards him.
He stopped hesitating anymore as he immediately agreed to the System's 'demand'.
"Yes, heal her immediately!" Nile commanded as he went and confronted the zombie again.
On his back, a magical scene happened as Jellan, who could barely move from before suddenly stood up, full of energy.
Jellan was enthralled by the magical thing that happened to her. She was already briefed by the existence of the 'System' when the earrings of loyalty settled on her ring finger. However, she could still not help but marvel at its magical existence.
She could also feel the restriction that came with the earrings of loyalty, for example, the restriction regarding the loyalty towards Nile.

However, Jellan did not regret it. If time will rewind itself and let her choose again, she would still choose the same thing.
Her love for Nile did not change after all those years that they were apart. Although she was still unclear about what really happened back then, she knew that a time would come when Nile would tell her about it in full detail.
She was now fully healed. May it internal or external injuries, her body was already devoid of it. Her energy was even restored to the peak and she felt that he was even stronger than before.
She smiled and didn't not waste any more time. She went and picked up the broken sword as she dashed towards to help her 'love', Nile.
"Coming!" She said with a voice full of delight.
If the delight was due to her own feelings or from the effects of the earrings of loyalty, no one knows except for her and the System.
Nile smiled after hearing her voice. 'It looks like I will have someone to converse to from now on!'
He could talk with Maximo and the others but their reply would mostly be translated by the earrings of loyalty. And it mostly consists of their feelings, not really conversing.
Boom!
Nile swept the zombie's arms away with his spear. However, due to the raw strength of the zombie, his spear also trembled as it also bounced away. Fortunately, he was holding it tightly so it didn't fly away.
The zombie immediately recovered and it instantly made a sweeping motion towards him.
The zombie's thick arm traveled at an extreme speed towards him. However, Nile was still as relaxed as ever as he slowly pulled his spear again.
And just as he was about to block it with his spear, Jellan suddenly arrived and with the broken sword in her hand, she blocked the attack in a leisure manner.
Her arm also shook and her body got thrown away. However, unlike before, she did not receive that much damage anymore.
After all, with the assistance of the System, Jellan was now able to fully utilize her Talent, Minor Self Defense. Although it was only a Level One talent for now, as what Nile had said, a talent was still a talent.
