I Reincarnated Into A Prince, And All Female Players In The Server Tries To Get Me! Chapter 14

"Is what you said true, uncle?"
Angela's tears turned into a smile. She did not care that she was crying like a kitten. She looked up at the old king with anticipation.
"Of course, my child."
"It's not just me. You can ask any elder for the same answer."
The old king answered confidently.
The old king had eavesdropped on the conversation between Walter and Angela.
At that time, Angela's condition was what would make her dislike Walter.
It was not what people imagined. They would think that it was the conditions to make her agree to Walter's pursuit.
The old king deliberately pretended not to know.
By using common sense to understand Walter's behavior, the old king's words were certainly not a problem.
A brave warrior who bravely butchered a dragon in order to win the favor of his beloved, whether he succeeded or failed, would become a good story that would be passed down through the ages.
Angela had read many books and heard many stories since she was young.
In the stories, the dragon was often seen between the prince and the princess.
It was as if as long as a prince and the princess were involved and there was no dragon, the story would not be complete.
Walter was a prince and his status was much higher than the average prince.
Angela was also the only Saintess of the Supreme God Church and the beloved daughter of the current pope. She could not be compared to an average princess.
It seemed that only a legendary dragon like Hydra, the Nine-Headed Dragon, was worthy of their story.
Angela's eyes were filled with longing as she left excitedly.
She wanted to go back to the church to prepare her dowry and tell the pope the good news.
The pope had always admired Walter, and he even said more than once that the next Silver Hand would be Walter.
The Silver Hand was the title of the Holy Knights' leader, and only the best Holy Knights could receive this honor.
The Holy Knights were the power that belonged directly to the pope, and they were as famous as the inquisitors of the Religious Court.

Once they took over the Silver Hand, they would definitely not be able to inherit the throne.
The pope had always tried to rope in Walter, which was why the old king hated him so much.
At this moment, in order to allow the Kane family's bloodline to continue, the old king decided to take a step back.
If Angela really liked Walter, the offspring of their marriage would have the support of both the Kane family and the pope.
Even if it was just a child, it would not be a big problem for the child to take over the throne.
After all, the Kane family and the pope of Lordaeron could become the two most powerful forces of the human race on the continent.
The changes in the palace did not affect the players.
With the popularity of the 'Imperial Consort Selection' quest, more and more people came to accept the quest.
People had already treated the quest as a free buff to gain experience and increase the drop rate of equipment.
As time passed, more and more people rose to level 10 and began to officially start adventuring after changing Classes.
In Genesis, the adventurers were divided into four basic Classes: Warrior, Mage, Assassin, and Archer.
The basic classes only chose the direction of advancement in the future. In the future, for every 10 levels, there would be a detailed classification of the classes.
For example, level 10 Class Change would be to Warrior, and after level 20, the class would change to Shield Warrior, Spear Warrior, Axe Warrior, Knight, and so on.
In Genesis, there were all sorts of Classes, and they all displayed their preferences.
As long as their Attribute Points met the requirements, one could even remain a Warrior until level 30, but after level 30, they could suddenly change their Class to Mage.
Walter was a combination of a Sword Saint and a knight.
Although the Holy Knight was only an honorary title, because he had tamed the Golden Holy Dragon, Walter had also changed Classes to a Level 1 Knight to obtain knight-specific skills such as Mount, Charge, and so on.
After level 10, players could not only change Classes to obtain the corresponding skills, but they could also capture pets.

There were two ways to capture pets.
One was to directly capture an adult monster. When the monster's Health was less than one-tenth of its total Health and it entered a near-death state, the player would use a Contract Scroll on the monster.
The lower the Health, the higher the success rate.
After failing three times, the Magical Beast's soul would be torn apart and it would die.
The Magical Beast that was subdued by this method was generally weaker and had very limited potential.
The other method was to steal the Magical Beast's eggs.
In Genesis, all the Magical Beasts were bred in the form of eggs.
Whether it was the giant dragon flying in the sky or the shark swimming in the water, they were all hatched from eggs.
Moreover, the higher the level limit of a monster, the lower the probability of it giving birth to a Magical Beast Egg.
As players' levels increased, the Magical Beast Egg gradually entered the players' field of vision.
Gradually, it was hyped up to a sky-high price.
It was hard to find an egg in the auction house. Even an ordinary Flame Wolf Pet Egg could be sold for tens of thousands of dollars.
There was also an extremely special method of taming pets. It was something that could only be found by chance.
For example, when Walter tamed the Golden Holy Dragon, it was the other party who took the initiative to recognize him as its master.
This situation was extremely harsh.
Unless one obtained some kind of opportunity during a special mission.
Otherwise, even a top-tier Sword Saint like Walter might not be able to trigger this mechanism.
In Genesis, the Pet System was actually just a support.
Other than the Golden Holy Dragon, which had very little powerful attack power, most of the pets were only used as mounts, scouts, and other support characters.
It would be best if players had it, but it would not have much effect on combat power.
There was a craze for pets in the game was that even Thieves, who were not suitable to have pets at all, crazily rushed into the gathering places of the monsters.
They did everything they could to steal a Magical Beast Egg.
The reason for this behavior ultimately came from a union that was made up of all female players.
The Ladies Union.
This union was originally only active on the forums.
When Walter started choosing concubines, these girls who were self-proclaimed as Walter's harem could not sit still.
They all registered accounts and charged into the game.
The first thing they did was to receive the 'Imperial Consort Selection' quest. They even occupied the outer walls of the palace for a time, trying to stop other players, especially male players, to receive the quest.
In their eyes, this was simply a blasphemy against Prince Walter.
Unfortunately, the game was different from the forums.
Other than having a large number of people and being good at verbal warfare, they still had to depend on their strength in the game.
In particular, the game itself was the home ground of male players. Some of the Zu'an horse hunters who mingled among the ordinary players were even able to kill the girls in an instant, causing them to throw away their armor and fall into disarray.
After learning from the painful experience, the girls also began to level up.
In one fell swoop, they created the largest player Clan in the game.
The maximum number of players in a Level 1 Clan was 100, but this was not difficult for the girls who had mingled in the forums for many years.
Soon, various 'Ladies Union sub unions' were established. The main union only recruited the leaders of the sub unions and players who were responsible for organizing and planning activities.
Soon, a huge organization with tens of thousands of people was established.
In order to fit Walter's image better, the girls joined the Holy Church one after another, changed their Class to Priests, and collected a large number of Pet Eggs.
For a time, the value of Pet Eggs in the entire game skyrocketed.

Wildling
Blurb: Silas--a scavenger living off the ruins of humanity--has spent his entire life fighting tooth and nail to provide for himself and his crew. But when a scavenging run goes awry and he's snatched up by an android patrol, he finds himself thrown into a cage and priced to sell as a pet. And when a suitor comes calling, he fears the worst: that he'll be turned into a Domestic, a human lapdog brainwashed into total obedience. Instead, he discovers an equally disturbing truth: that the creatures who stole his world have created a videogame the likes of which Earth has never seen; a sprawling, game-like theme park where humans are the Avatars and androids are the players who control them. And to make matters worse, his android guide is as hopeless as they come, having gotten all of her previous Avatars killed in record time. So if Silas wants to regain his freedom, he'll not only have to fight his way through a world that was specifically designed to murder him in brutal fashion--he'll also have to convince his android guide that he should be the one calling the shots. FAQS: Q: Who are you, handsome stranger? A: I'm Kyle Kirrin, the author of Shadeslinger, book 1 of The Ripple System, published by Portal Books, and I write crunchy LitRPG. Q: What is Wildling? And is it complete? A: Wildling is a crunchy LitRPG mash up of Fantasy and Science Fiction. And yup, Wildling is already complete at 64 chapters, or about 120,000 thousand words. You're looking at something like a third draft here--it's fairly polished, but it hasn't been picked over by a copy editor yet nor has my developmental editor seen it. Q: Upload schedule? A: 5 initial chapters today (2/15/2021) and one chapter a day for the next month. After that I'll probably slow down to 2 or 3 chapters a week until the story is complete. Q: How crunchy is it? A: It's pretty crunchy. I'd put it on the same tier as Ascend/The Land/RSSG, but it might be a bit crunchier than those three? Q: Is this the first book in a series or a web novel or what? And what are your plans for it? A: It's currently a standalone with series potential. Full disclosure: this story may head the way of my publisher eventually, but will be available on RR for quite a while no matter what. Likely several months after it's complete with plenty of warning before/if it's taken down. Q: What kind of build does the MC create? A: Sword and board! Q: Crafting? A: Plenty! Crafting isn't as center stage as it is in The Way of the Shaman, but it's close. Q: Base building? A: Two fully separate, distinct bases, both of which play a major role in the story. Q: VRMMO? Portal? Reincarnation or what? A: This one's a bit tricky. Basically an advanced race has created a game-like world that closely resembles a theme park. Think Westworld but with copious amounts of loot. And the MC has to fight his way through that to earn his freedom. Q: Permadeath? A: Nope! The MC gets 3 lives to play through the entirety of the game world, and death is extremely punishing, but not fatal. Q: Harem? Or romance? A: No and no. Q: Cursing? Blood? A: Quite a bit of cursing, yeah. There's blood, too, but it's not a gory book by any means. Q: How can I support? A: Instead of a Patreon/donations etc, I'd ask that you consider giving my debut LitRPG Shadeslinger a chance. It's free on Kindle Unlimited and the audio is already out narrated by Travis Baldree. It's an epic fantasy VRMMO where the main character gets 3 days of exclusive access to a new game plus a snarky, talking axe to guide him through it in exchange for agreeing to become the target of a serverwide manhunt once the Head Start period ends. Q: How's it similar to Wildling? And how's it different? A. The crunch level is very similar, but Shadeslinger is a much lighter, epic fantasy take on the genre. It's also VRMMO, but without any real world components aside from the first chapter. The MC is very different--he comes off as a bit of a jerk early on and can take a bit to warm up to, especially before his backstory is revealed--but he's also got a talking axe that constantly puts him in his place. Shadeslinger's a much more humorous story in general, and it's a great deal more polished as well. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy Wildling!
