Yun Chen had returned half an hour back from the conference, while Xie Yuansheng had to stay back over there. Xia Lin filled her in with juicy details. She was obviously very furious. How dare anyone takes her place. She had been working hard for so many months to get the head secretary position and now this girl comes with no qualifications and tries to snatch it from her. Already she was not happy with the fact that the CEO had been favoring her ever since she had entered the scene.

Yun Chen grabbed the file from Feng Xinying and said, "With whose permission are you sitting in this place? Don't you know that this is where the head secretary sits?"

Feng Xinying looked at Yun Chen and thought 'Wait till I make you my secretary.' She took the file back from Yun Chen's hand and said, "I don't need your permission to sit here," and continued to look at the computer screen.

Irate Yun Chen's voice became shriller, "Get out of this place or I will call the guards to throw you out of this building!"

Feng Xinying was about to say something when from the corner of her eyes she saw that Xie Yuansheng was coming to the office. 'Now you see what happens to you, Yun Chen.'

Feng Xinying became quiet and looked at her fingernails trying to ignore Yun Chen as if a dog was barking.

"Didn't you hear what I said? Get up right now," shouted Yun Chen on top of her voice so that everyone on the floor could listen to her insulting Feng Xinying and held her hand to pull her out of the chair.

"Yun Chen!" came a resounding voice from behind. Xie Yuansheng was standing a few meters away from her. Yun Chen looked at him and immediately left Feng Xinying's hand. She looked at the cold face of Xie Yuansheng, which had darkened. His brows were knitted.

Yun Chen shrunk is fear and said, "CEO when did you come? I thought you would be coming by evening. I will go and prepare your coffee. Please don't worry about her. I will take proper care. She is sitting on this place without permission."

Xie Yuansheng glowered at Yun Chen and said, "From today onwards Feng Xinying will be the head secretary of this place. You better listen to her."

Surprised at this new development, the entire office fell silent. For Yun Chen it was such a big blow that her mouth fell to the floor.

"But- but- Sir, how can this be? She is new and doesn't know anything about it," replied Yun Chen in a very low tone.

"You dare to go against my decision?" his voice boomed in the office.

"No- no- sir," she replied and lowered her face. Tears formed in her eyes as her fists clenched. She would not leave this bitch. Enough is enough. She knew whom to approach to take care of the pesky woman. She left the place, humiliated to the maximum.

Feng Xinying saw her going and saw Xie Yuansheng proudly. Then with an innocent face she said, "Xie Yuansheng I need to talk to you about something. Do you have time?"

Once more she invited odd glares from employees. How could she take their CEO's name in first person?

"Sure," he nodded and went to his office. Feng Xinying picked a file and followed him inside, satisfied at her first victory.

In the office, she put the file in front of Xie Yuansheng and said, "I am sorry but I don't think I can work as your head secretary."

Xie Yuansheng smiled and replied, "You are already accepting defeat?"

"Who said I am accepting defeat? I would like to branch out this company in fashion segment and want to start a retail chain of stores for fashion clothes and accessories. Rather than working for you as a secretary and wasting my talent, I'd rather do that," she replied.

Xie Yuansheng was impressed by her attitude and said, "And how would you do that? You can't perform as a secretary, how will you start a business like that?"

"I have a business proposal for you," she replied.
