Feng Xinying looked at him and Wang Zǐróng as they sat together. Wang Zǐróng hand was still on his shoulders. Not wanting to intrude any further she said, "I am going home. The office hours are over."

Xie Yuansheng removed Wang Zǐróng's hand from his shoulders. He got up from the sofa and said, "Wait, there is another file that I have to discuss with you."

Then he turned towards Wang Zǐróng and said, "Let us talk some other time Wang Zǐróng. I am really busy right now. I will send you a message when we can meet next, okay?"

Wang Zǐróng became angry inside. This Feng Xinying was always her adversary. "I want to spend my time with you. I have managed to clear my entire schedule for you so I am not going anywhere. Also I will take you for dinner with me to our favorite restaurant Black Ivy today. You cannot say no to this," she said with an angry pout trying to act cute.

Xie Yuansheng ran his fingers through his head. Feng Xinying on the other hand watched the way Wang Zǐróng was conducting herself around him. She felt like slapping her and not because she was jealous, but because her clingy behavior was annoying her. She tapped her foot lightly to remind the two of them that she was there in the room.

"Wang Zǐróng, please leave," said Xie Yuansheng curtly.

But she was adamant. Crossing her hands across her chest she said, "I will leave on one condition."

"What is that?" Xie Yuansheng said exasperated, as if trying to ward her off.

"You will have to have dinner with me tonight," she replied like a small child. In reality, Wang Zǐróng wanted to show Feng Xinying how Xie Yuansheng was wrapped around her fingers. He would do anything if she acted cute or clingy. She wanted to flaunt her control and say over Xie Yuansheng and because of this she was insisting.

"Okay, I will," he said and signaled with his chin for her to go out.

Wang Zǐróng smiled and said, "Okay Xiao Sheng, I will leave you for now, darling. I will pick you up at 7pm tonight." She left, staring at Feng Xinying while passing her by as though telling her to back off.

Wang Zǐróng knew that Feng Xinying was the owner of the Feng Conglomerate. But she also knew that her father had thrown her out of the business. He had made Xie Yuansheng the successor of the company. Obviously, Xie Yuansheng was the person she had to be with. If she could succeed in wooing Xie Yuansheng, and become his wife, the entire company would be in her hands. Apart from that her love interest, Xie Yuansheng, would be hers. She had followed him all the way from the school to the college and now to his company only so that he could see her everyday and not forget her.

The fact that Feng Xinying had run away made things very easy for her. She never felt that there would be any competition to her. She had persuaded Xie Yuansheng to make her the Vice President of the Procurement department, which was the most sought after post because it directly dealt with vendors who worked outside the company. To curry favors and to get their products or business proposals passed, they would cater to all her demands. She had become very important in the company and all feared her because of her closeness to the CEO. No body dared to cross her path.

Overall, she was the queen of the company who was waiting to step on the throne, next to her king. But when she heard that Feng Xinying had come again to the company and that also as the head secretary, she became nervous all over again. How could Feng Xinying make her anxious even though she hadn't met her until now?

When Yun Chen called her to inform about Feng Xinying, she was in a meeting. She ended the meeting immediately and came to check on Xie Yuansheng. And there she was sitting and taking notes from him. It angered her so much that the first thing she did was to go and hug him only to mark her territory.

On her way out she saw Yun Chen and nodded. She was Yun Chen's mentor when Yun Chen joined the company. Although Yun Chen was appointed as the junior manager in her department, she was very ambitious and wanted to get close to the CEO. Wang Zǐróng saw her impatience and knew that she could use her easily because although she was very ambitious, she wasn't intelligent.

She had convinced Xie Yuansheng to make Yun Chen his secretary so that Yun Chen would stay close to him and also keep telling her about his daily schedule. Because Yun Chen would report her almost everyday, Wang Zǐróng was able match her schedule with his and meet him frequently.
