"Xinying, the fever hasn't come down…" he lamented on phone.

Feng Xinying was flustered. It was not even 11AM and she had to go back home. She disconnected the call, switched off the computer, picked her purse and headed back home. On her way back she called the family physician to take a look at Xie Yuansheng.

When she reached home she rushed upstairs to his room. She heard him sneezing and quickly opened the door. However, she saw that Xie Weihui was already there in Xie Yuansheng's room giving him hot tomato soup. Both of them looked at her with utter surprise. Startled at her sudden arrival, Xie Weihui said, "Feng Xinying, are you okay?"

Feng Xinying stuttered, "Yes- yes- I am okay."

Xie Yuansheng smiled at her as he sipped the hot tomato soup. Feng Xinying looked at him smiling. She was peeved and started going out when she was stopped by Xie Weihui. "Now that you ate here, can you please take care this big baby? I have to go to the temple to offer prayers."

Without waiting for her to reply, Xie Weihui picked her purse and dashed out of the room leaving the two of them on their own.

Feng Xinying was once again stuck with Xie Yuansheng. The family physician came, prescribed him medicines and left. Feng Xinying sent a servant to fetch the medicines while she went to her room telling him that he should call her when needed. It was a different thing she was going back and forth to his room every one hour. Finally she was so exhausted that slept like a log at night.

Next morning she woke up very late only to find that Xie Yuansheng had already left for the office. While she was getting dressed, she received a call from Luciano. "Feng Xinying, there is a fashion show organized by the great designer Ralph from England. I have managed to get two tickets of the front seat for the ramp walk. Would you like to accompany me?"

Feng Xinying became excited. She knew that Ralph was one of the leading fashion designers of the world and to get a ticket for his fashion show was not easy. But Luciano had managed to get the tickets for the first row! "Yes, of course I will come!" she exclaimed.

However, she had to take a leave from the office. After thinking what would be the best way to take leave without getting disturbed, she messaged Xie Yuansheng,

[I am sick so won't come to the office.]

When Xie Yuansheng received the message, he was in a meeting. He frowned when he read the message. The employee who was giving the presentation stopped in the middle when he saw the CEO frowning scared that something had gone wrong. He said, "Sir, I am sorry. Let me know what has gone wrong and I will correct it right now." He started shaking when Xie Yuansheng didn't answer him. The entire meeting room fell silent.

"But she was fine yesterday…" murmured Xie Yuansheng. Then he looked up at the others and realizing the situation, he said, "Continue…"

After the meeting got over, Xie Yuansheng called her to enquire about her health. Feng Xinying picked the phone while she was dressing up. "Should I come to pick you up to take you to the hospital?"

"No!" she replied nervously. "I will be fine in sometime."

Xie Yuansheng became suspicious. Then all of a sudden he remembered that in the past life she had lied to him to go to a fashion event with Luciano. But at that time she was not working in the office and just to meet Luciano she would make excuses.

Piqued, Xie Yuansheng called the fashion event organizers and asked the time of the event. "Sir the event begins at 2PM," replied the organizer. He was surprised that a person as popular and important as Xie Yuansheng would even call him and that also to know about a fashion event.

Meanwhile Feng Xinying dressed up in one of her best outfits to attend the event. She was so excited that she reached there half an hour earlier. She found that Luciano was waiting for her. He saw her and became excited, "Feng Xinying, how are you baby doll?"

Feng Xinyng was chirpy. She smiled and replied, "I am fone Luciano. Thank you so much for organizing the tickets for me. I could never think that I would be able to attend this event. Ralph is a leading fashion designer and my idol. Today I will be able to finally see him." She was fangirling.

Luciano said, "Anything for you baby doll. I had to put in lot of efforts to get these tickets. These organizers are very tough people. They just don't allow anyone to even buy the tickets. Somehow I managed to get these."

"Thank you Luciano," replied Feng Xinying with lots of gratitude in her voice.
