Feng Xinying packed her stuff and started to leave. Xie Yuansheng followed her with a grumpy mood. The entire journey back to home, he was very grumpy although he itched to talk to her. He wanted to touch her and was finding it difficult to control himself. It was his anger that wasn't letting him touch her. He was angry that couldn't she talk to him and hold his hand. He would look at her every now and then but she wasn't even looking in his direction. She was looking outside.

When the car reached home, Feng Xinying jumped out of the car before him and hurried to her room. Even he ran after her and they both climbed the stairs together. He was just four stairs behind her. He saw that she entered her bedroom without even looking back at him and became all the more angry. He went to his room, threw his wallet, pen and other stuff on the bed and went to take a shower. He took a long cold shower to lighten his mood, but nothing worked. He kept waiting for her to come to him and apologize. In the end when she didn't come, he went downstairs to have his dinner just to see her but she wasn't there.

"Where is young miss?" he asked Lu Boyun.

"She has eaten her dinner," replied Lu Boyun blandly.

Feeling sad, Xie Yuansheng ate a little and then went to his room to sleep. He hadn't seen her at all after they had come home. When he couldn't bear it any further, sometime during late night, he gently opened the door of her room. All the lights were out. Slowly he tiptoed his way to her bed. Using his phone's light, he saw where she was sleeping and went to lie down beside her. Her hair was spread on the pillow and she appeared deep in slumber. Her hands were on her sides over the blanket. Softly, he held her hand and shifted near her. He didn't realize when he slept and she didn't realize when she turned towards him and curled into him. Later she made her way over to him and snuggled her face into his chest.

In the morning when he woke up, he couldn't move. There was something on him. He woke up to find that she was sleeping on his with her head on the pillow and face buried in his neck. He smiled and whispered, "Stop resisting me…" and kissed her shoulder.

Xie Yuansheng placed her on the side inviting a frown on her face. He covered her with the blanket and went back to his room.

Instead of going to the office, Feng Xinying went to the event hall much to Xie Yuansheng's disappointment. There was a lot to do and it was already 9AM. She checked that the entire place was very nicely decorated. The center of the event hall was cleared for holding sports while chairs were placed outside the ring of a glass railing that was created overnight.

Feng Xinying came to the office to fetch Xie Yuansheng when Yun Chen came running to her. "CEO Xie Yuansheng isn't in his room," she was panting.

"Where is he?"

"He has gone with Miss Fei Yen in a meeting."

Feng Xinying's expressions became hard and without saying another word, she turned back to go downstairs.

By the time it was 10AM almost all the employees had gone to the event hall. It was heavily packed and people were waiting to get a glimpse of Wu Bosun. There was excitement in the event hall while upstairs in the office, Xie Yuansheng was fretting and fuming. Yun Chen had informed him that Feng Xinying was very busy and won't be able to come to fetch him. That is why Miss Lim would be taking him to the event personally.

Wu Bosun arrived at 10:15AM and everybody in the hall started shouting and screaming. Feng Xinying received him. She offered him a bouquet of flowers, which Wu Bosun gave to his driver immediately saying, "Keep this nicely."

As directed by Feng Xinying, Wu Bosun went to the main stage of the event hall. The emcee handed him the mic and before he could speak, everyone broke into a loud shout again. Wu Bosun laughed and then he spoke on the mic, "Thank you for calling me here. This is going to be one of the best events I have ever attended. I want to say my thanks to Miss Feng Xinying who came to invite me." He looked at Feng Xinying and continued, "Perhaps Miss Xinying doesn't remember me, but I remember her very well. The first time I saw her, it was as though I had seen a fairy. She looked ethereal."

Feng Xinying was flabbergasted.

"Well, I think I will tell the details to her when we are alone," he said staring at her. There was an awkward silence. Then he looked at others in the hall and said, "But do you all know that I cancelled movie screening for two movies only to attend this event?"

"Yay!" shouted the audience as they all clapped.

Xie Yuansheng arrived along with Lim Fei Yen and Yun Chen much later to the event hall. Xie Yuansheng was taken to the main stage immediately as Yun Chen and Lim Fei Yen followed him, which was noticed by Feng Xinying.

When Xie Yuansheng arrived, he heard that part of speech where Wu Bosun mentioned that she looked ethereal. Xie Yuansheng's expressions became stern and the temperature of the place dropped to Arctic coldness.

Wu Bosun nodded at him and smiled as he climbed up the stage. Wu Bosun paused his speech when he noticed his expressions. Then he continued, "I would like to thank Mr. Xie Yuansheng for getting me on board to endorse the company's product."

Xie Yuansheng nodded formally. Wu Bosun gave the mic to the emcee who presented it to the CEO to speak something. Xie Yuansheng gave a very formal and short speech and went down the stairs. Yun Chen and Lim Fei Yen guided him to his chair for the event to start.

The event commenced.

Xie Yuansheng was flanked by Yun Chen and Lim Fei Yen on both sides when he sat on his chair.

"It seems Wu Bosun knew Feng Xinying from before," said Yun Chen clapping her hand. "That is why he approved for this event. Feng Xinying is so lucky!"

"Obviously she must be meeting him secretly. They know each other so well!" added Lim Fei Yen.

Feng Xinying was watching them from her place.
