Xie Yuansheng smiled as Feng Xinying said, "I would love it on your office desk."

"Done!" he replied.

The car came to a halt and CEO was seen getting out of it in a disheveled state along with his wife. Their hair was completely messy. The servants came out to pick all the grocery their master had bought. When the grocery reached the kitchen, the chefs wondered why so much was bought when it was already present in the stock. They just shook their heads and asked Lu Boyun what to prepare. It was already 8PM in the night.

Feng Xinying came downstairs and declared that she would be making French cuisine. She had already researched about the dish Xie Yuansheng had mentioned earlier while coming back home and she came down with a set of papers on which she had written the recipe. With a smile she kept them on the counter and ordered the servants to bring all the relevant ingredients. Soon there were over fifteen different ingredients on the table.

Just then, Xie Yuansheng came down with a set of papers and declared, "Today all of you go away. Both Feng Xinying have decided to prepare a dish and we don't want any help."

Feng Xinying smiled at her husband. She looked at all of them as they left with a smile on their face. Only Lu Boyun was extremely worried.

When the servants left, Feng Xinying said, "Yuansheng, is it okay if I hear some music while cooking?"

"Of course yes! Go ahead and play some nice music while I prepare the dish here," he said with a huge smile encouraging her not to touch anything. If one of them had to prepare dinner, then it was better him than her.

"By the way, I have downloaded the recipe," said Feng Xinying pointing at the papers.

"Thanks Yingying but so have I. You can leave those papers on the counter and go. Go play some good relaxing music."

Feng Xinying left. She went on to play English country music. She had grown fond of that music while her stay in America. When she returned she saw that Xie Yuansheng was cutting asparagus. He was wearing a kitchen apron. He had a huge knife in his hand that looked like a butcher knife. Once he had cut asparagus, he starting chopping potato with it. The way the ingredients were cut, it was clear that really didn't know how to prepare the dish.

Feng Xinying said, "Do you want me to add oil in the wok?"

"What is a wok?" he asked.

Feng Xinying smiled. She took a wok and put it on the burner. After adding oil, she asked, "Should I add vegetables in it?"

"No Yingying, I will do the rest. You just sit and watch."

Slowly all the ingredients were added and Xie Yuansheng would stir them carefully. He started adding the herbs and other spices and stirred it again. Feng Xinying was checking her emails on the mobile at that time.

Xie Yuansheng left to fetch an ingredient that he couldn't find there on the counter. Feng Xinying noticed that there were way too many papers on the counter and they had littered the area, so she went and picked the set that she had downloaded and threw them in the dustbin.

Xie Yuansheng came back after sometime with the herb and added that to the vegetable. Then he looked at the recipe on the paper and added three teaspoons of sugar to it. Satisfied he stirred it and then covered it until the vegetables were soft.

He went to fetch breads and lay the table. Once the dish was ready, he held Feng Xinying's hand and invited her to have dinner cooked by him. Feng Xinying smiled and gave him an affectionate look. "You are the best husband in the world darling," she said as she curled her hands around his arm and walked to the dining area.

"Thank you," he replied. "And you are the best wife." He stopped and kissed her lightly.

They went to the dining table. Feng Xinying sat and Xie Yuansheng served her with the dish he had prepared. Before she had the first bite, she offered him out of affection. Xie Yuansheng's face turned red. The vegetable had so many herbs that it had become bitter but at the same time there was so much sugar that it was also sweet. The flavor was strange. His teeth chattered in disgust. Tears filled his eyes as he looked at Feng Xinying.

Feng Xinying thought that he was moved by the way she was feeding him so she gave him another bite to eat. After all he had made the dish with so much love and affection.

Xie Yuansheng's tears rolled out of his eyes.

"Awww… darling don't cry. I love to see you eating. Here have another bite," offered Feng Xinying.

Once Xie Yuansheng had had three bites, which were all still in his mouth, Feng Xinying ate the first one.
