Xie Shengjun was well aware of the situation, however they had kept it as a secret from Feng Xinying. They wanted to bury everything in the past ever since his brother had fallen in love with her irrevocably. He remembered that at first when their parents were killed, both the brothers were parted and they wanted to take revenge from Feng Zhantian. However, it was much later revealed that it was their uncle who had actually instigated their father into killing Cai Xin, Feng Xinying's mother.

He also knew that his brother was madly in love with Feng Xinying. The situation was very complicated at that time. Hence when they came to know about their uncle's treachery, it was Xie Yuansheng whose loyalty was shaken. All this while all the love that he had kept buried inside came to the surface. He realized that it was his uncle who had actually kept feeding them wrong information and made them do everything wrong. It was because of him that he had to be parted from Feng Xinying for so many years of his life. It was because of him that he was unable to love Feng Xinying for so many years of his life. He had to take revenge.

It was Xie Yuansheng who had personally tampered with the brakes of his uncle's car. On the day of the accident, he had taken his uncle to City D, which was connected with a bridge with City Z. While speeding on the bridge, his uncle had become scared and had asked him to slow down the speed, however, he hadn't. He looked at his uncle and told him only one thing –"You will have to pay with your life for separating me from Feng Xinying."

Saying that he had swirled the car, dashed it with the bridge and jumped out of it just before it hurled off the bridge.

When Xie Shengjun remembered the incident, his skin was lined with goose bumps. They had decided to never let Feng Xinying know about this incident or any incident. Everything was tightly sealed between the brothers. They had removed any evidence that would have pointed towards them regarding Cai Xin's death. All Feng Xinying knew was that their mother had died in an accident, but she didn't know that she had died with her mother.

"I want to know who killed my mother Xie Shengjun…" said Feng Xinying again wondering if Xie Shengjun had heard her.

"But Feng Xinying you mother died in an accident and not that someone killed her," he replied very seriously.

"I have come to know that my mother was killed…" she said again. This time Keira was looking at Feng Xinying with wide eyes. She felt so sick upon hearing it that she retched and rushed to the bathroom again.

Xie Shengjun became angry with Feng Xinying. "Can we discuss this in private? What was the necessity of discussing this in front of Keira? Can't you see that she is already going through an emotional upheaval?"

Feng Xinying realized her mistake and said with a deep regret, "Sorry…"

Keira came back with large tears in her eyes. She hugged Feng Xinying and said, "I am so sorry for you Yingying."

Feng Xinying didn't know what to do. So she chuckled and said, "Don't worry Keira, this was long time ago and I have kind of forgotten. You see, I have such a loving husband that I hardly remember my parents now."

Xie Shengjun breathed a sigh of relief when he heard that.

Keira held Feng Xinying's hands and took her to the bedroom where she showed her all the shopping she had done for her pregnancy. Feng Xinying browsed through all of it with so much attention and love that she forgot about her purpose of the visit. Xie Shengjun purposely didn't follow them or Feng Xinying would ask him more questions.

It was late in the evening at around 8PM when final Feng Xinying got up to leave. The two friends walked to the main hall and to their surprise they found the two brothers in deep conversation over a glass of whiskey.

"Xie Yuansheng, when did you come?" asked Feng Xinying with a surprise.

He smiled at her with his trademark lopsided smile and said, "An hour back."

She left Keira's hand and took the glass out of his hands. "Let's go home!"

He grinned and tried to get up, but he couldn't. Feng Xinying got annoyed that every time he would come to meet his brother, he would end up drinking. "How many pegs have you had?" she asked annoyingly as she tried to support him. He was totally wasted.

"This was my fourth," he replied with a grin that wasn't leaving his face.

Even Xie Shengjun was totally drunk and Keira was red in anger.

"Xie Yuansheng, you wait and watch what I am going to do to you!" said Feng Xinying as she supported him to walk to the car.

In the car, Xie Yuansheng lied in her lap. He was looking at her with half closed eyes. He brought his hand to her cheeks and said, "Don't hate me ever…"

He remembered in his past life, she had killed him a few months later… Will she do the same now?

However, what he mumbled next left Feng Xinying shocked.
