Feng Xinying woke up and went to the bathroom. She wondered how long would the sedatives work. She got up from the chair and went to the bathroom to get dressed. When she came out, she saw a nurse in the room. The nurse smiled at her and said, "Good morning Miss Xinying." Xie Yuansheng was still sleeping.

"Good morning," replied Feng Xinying with a smile.

The nurse was administering an injection to Xie Yuansheng. Feng Xinying stood there quietly as the nurse injected the medicine in the drip the tube of which was attached to Xie Yuansheng's hand.

"What medicine is this?" asked Feng Xinying.

"It is antibiotic for all his bruises," she replied. "The antibiotics are given so that the wounds do not become infected."

"Bruises? What bruises?" she asked.

"Miss Xinying, his back is covered in lots of bruises. Unfortunately the way he fell with you in his arms, he skidded a few feet forward with his back on the floor. That impact led his skin to peel in several places. That is the reason he is unable to sleep on his back. Unless those wounds are properly healed, he cannot sleep on his back."

"Why isn't he bandaged?" Feng Xinying asked as she crossed her arms.

"He is bandaged in several places, but in other places the doctor has asked us to apply medicine only. Depending upon the wound, the places have been bandaged."

Feng Xinying nodded.

"Since it was a major fall, his body had been subjected to multiple traumas. His right shoulder is dislocated. The doctors had tried to put the dislocated bone back in its place yesterday when you were still unconscious."

"Okay…" Feng Xinying whispered.

A day before after the fall, both of them were taken to the hospital immediately. Director Lu Dao and Wu Bosun had gone along with them. Zhou Ah Ming had arranged for everything before they reached the hospital. The problem was that they had to keep everything under wraps so that the media wouldn't get the whiff of it. They had called Xie Shengjun and Keira.

In the hospital, the doctors had ascertained the Feng Xinying was only unconscious because of the shock but it was Xie Yuansheng who had received many injuries. It had taken two hours before Xie Yuansheng could come out of his pain. His shirt was covered in blood and he couldn't move his shoulder. He was wheeled in the operation theater immediately.

The office was informed that Xie Yuansheng had gone on a sudden vacation.

In the morning, when Feng Xinying went to take a bath, Xie Yuansheng smiled. He was happy that she was with him. However, he had been awake for a long time, so while she took a bath, he had slept off. He was sleeping when Feng Xinying was talking to the nurse.

When the nurse left, Feng Xinying looked at Xie Yuansheng. She went near him and slightly opened his sheet that had covered his back. When she opened it, she was horrified. There were five places on his back where they had bandaged him. Other places were black and blue and the skin was peeled. It looked gory. Feng Xinying pressed her lips hard and covered him quickly.

She went to her bed and then lied there. She must have stayed there for not over an hour, that Keira came with lunch boxes. Feng Xinying was so relieved to see Keira that she hugged her tightly. Keira patted her shoulder and said, "Don't worry, he will be fine soon. I have brought lunch for you. You must eat well. Director Lu Dao wants to finish the dance sequence as soon as possible because the sets are ready and you guys are still in practice."

She opened the lunch for her and the smell wafted through the room. Feng Xinying ate it and started checking her Weibo. She saw that the news regarding his drunk driving had become viral. She switched her phone off and threw it on the bed.

Keira understood and said, "This will all be taken down today."

Feng Xinying nodded. She felt as if she was surrounded by too many scandals around her. Who the hell was after this? It was getting mysterious.

It took three days for Xie Yuansheng to become a little better under doctor's constant care. His hand was still painful and the skin burned whenever the effect of painkillers would wear off. However, he could sit up well and eat food under the effect.

During those three days, Feng Xinying didn't have much to do. She had kept herself busy with reading the latest news on the papers or talking to her fans on social media. The movie schedule had been delayed a little. One day while reading the papers, her eyes went on a news item that was related to the film industry. She shook her head and wondered about the type of people that were there in the industry. What all they did besides acting?

Feng Xinying had ordered Lu Boyun to prepare according to the menu she had made for him. Although she stayed with Xie Yuansheng in the hospital all the time, she was still not talking to him. She was caught in a dilemma. The incident with Chang Ling conflicted her love for him. He had become very quiet around her. He would look at her with expecting eyes but she would look away. Seeing that she was talking, he sulked but was satisfied that she was with him. He was looking for a window.

It was on the fourth day that she went to complete her dance sequence. This time the place was heavily guarded and no one except the dancers and staff were allowed to enter the set. Finally the dance went very well.

On the fifth day, when Feng Xinying was reading the morning newspaper in the room after having her breakfast, she read an article which shocked her and she looked at Xie Yuansheng but he was sleeping.
