Xei Weihui and Feng Zhantian were in the same college in their younger days. While Feng Zhantian was studying Electronics engineering, Xei Weihui was studying business management. Being a spoilt brat of his parents, Feng Zhantian was not into a single girl but he was a Casanova kind who more into competitive sports, car racing being his favorite sport. He had participated in several car racing circuits across the world. Xei Weihui was attracted to all the money, fame and looks that he came with. She wanted to get close to him, but he was never interested in her. He kept her at bay. With time, Xei Weihui found herself getting more and more attracted to Feng Zhantian.

One day when Feng Zhantian was in college and talking to other boys, she came and professed her love to him. Feng Zhantian was bewildered. He didn't reply to her, as he didn't even know her at that point of time. While he stayed quiet, other boys ridiculed the young Xei Weihui who was so insulted that she ran away from there. A few days later Xei Weihui came to know that Feng Zhantian had fallen in love with a woman called Cai Xin. Obsessed over him, she went to see who Cai Xin was. When she saw her, her beauty stunned her. A simple girl from very laid back town, Cai Xin had come to City Z for further studies. She was an Arts Major and had been very quiet all the years in college. She was even more beautiful than Feng Xinying.

It was during one of the local car racing circuits that Feng Zhantian had gone where he had seen Cai Xin who had gone there to support her college team on her friend's insistence.

Feng Zhantian saw her cheering for the team before the start of the race. That was the first time he had lost the race. When he had gone to see her after the race finished, she was no longer there. He had searched for her frantically throughout the college. His search ended three weeks later when one day he finally found her sitting alone in front of the arts block.

He had walked to her and introduced himself with a stutter. Cai Xin was surprised at this sudden introduction from a boy. She blushed and ran away from there. Over the days, Feng Zhantian pursued her to the extent that he stopped taking part in his favorite sport and his grades started falling. Finally when she agreed to go out with him, the news went viral. Feng Zhantian was mad about her and obsessed over her.

Feng Zhantian didn't want to wait for even a minute and the first thing he did was to propose Cai Xin with a ring he had made from the spike grass that was growing where they were sitting.

Xei Weihui had gone to see Cai Xin and had tried her best to get rid of her from the college. She had gone to the extent of planting weeds in her hostel room, which were thankfully removed with the help of Feng Zhantian's friends.

Coming from a family that had underworld network, she had access to everything shady. She had tried to kill Cai Xin by arranging a truck to run over her, however, Feng Zhantian again saved her. The way all the accidents were conducted, was so professional that Feng Zhantian would never come to know who did that.

At the age of twenty-three when Feng Zhantian took over his family business, he informed his parents as to whom he would marry. Their love was met with a lot of resistance from both the parents' side, but eventually they married two years later.

Xei Weihui had left for post graduation course in management for the next two years. The day she returned, she came to know that Feng Zhantian had married Cai Xin. Now there was no way for her to get rid of Cai Xin easily.

She had joined her brothers in their underworld activities. She was the one who asked her brother to join Feng Zhantian as a business associate and later she was the one who fed him wrong information about him.

She was the one who had started with nefarious activities only to bring Cai Xin out. Becoming the queen of the Feng Conglomerate had become her lifetime ambition.

Feng Zhantian didn't know who was behind all the problems in his business, especially when it came to murders that directly affected him. So he started developing his own organization in order to deal with them. It was during this time, he came to know that one of his business associates had betrayed him.

Cai Xin was a very close friend of the wife of that business associate.

When Xei Weihui had come to know that Cai Xin and Feng Zhantian had a daughter, she had been waiting for an opportunity to kill them both in order to get close to Feng Zhantian again. The opportunity came knocking on the door three years later.

It was Xei Weihui who had provoked his brother to tamper with the car brakes of the car in which Cai Xin was supposed to go back home along with Feng Xinying. But to her disgust, even though Cai Xin died, Feng Zhantian saved Feng Xinying. She had never anticipated that even her brother's wife would die along with her. She also never anticipated that it was Feng Zhantian who would kill her brother. It was the first time she realized that the war had catapulted into something very vicious.

She had to go in hiding in one of the suburbs so that Feng Zhantian would never come to know about her. She took the young Xie Yuansheng with her and used to send him to her younger brother who was still running the organization. Xie Yuansheng stayed with his aunt while Xie Shengjun stayed with his uncle.

Somehow Xei Weihui gained access to one of his businesses in suburbs only to know about his whereabouts. She had vowed in her life that she would take revenge for her brother's death and also be a part of Feng Conglomerate and she was waiting for an opportunity.
