Xie Yuansheng had changed into his shirt and pants and helped Feng Xinying also to change into her dress. The doctor arrived an hour later. Xie Yuansheng ushered him in the room where she was lying down. The doctor examined her and asked her the symptoms. "How do you feel?"

She told him everything about her operation, lethargy to vomiting a while ago. Then she asked, "Has my wound got infected? Will you amputate my hand? I can't let that happen? I am just too young for this kind of a thing." Saying that Feng Xinying started crying.

The doctor looked at her with an exasperated expression. "You are overthinking Miss Xinying. There is nothing of the sort." He picked her hand to check her pulse.

Xie Yuansheng looked at his wife's nervous expression and became all the more nervous. He was standing right beside her.

The doctor checked her pulse and then said, "When was the last time you had periods?"

She furrowed her brows. She remembered that she had them during Keira's wedding. "Around forty five days back," she replied mentally calculating. The again her lips curved down. "Is this happening because of the face that my periods are delayed?"

The doctor took a deep breath at his patient. He nodded and said, "Yes, this is because of delayed periods."

"What is happening to me? Will I die now?" asked Feng Xinying almost about to burst into tears. "I am too young."

The doctor clenched his jaws and said, "No! You won't die, rather you might give birth to a new life."

The couple stared at the doctor. After a moment's silence, it was Xie Yuansheng who stuttered, "D- doctor, wh- what do you mean?" His voice was barely audible. His thoughts had tangled up so much looking at Feng Xinying but now everything came to a standstill. His mind didn't allow him to think of anything. His skin lined up with unexpected.

The doctor looked from Feng Xinying to Xie Yuansheng and found them to be having the most hilarious expression. They both were dumbfounded.

"Miss Xinying, it is possible that you are pregnant," replied the doctor with the most solemn expression he could put on his face even though he was laughing inside. Obviously, he couldn't jest with the power couple in front of him, who was not even married.

Feng Xinying closed her mouth, "Oh my God!" she shrieked. "We are going to be parents?" she said looking at Xie Yuansheng. "Oh my gosh, we are going to be parents, Shengu!"

Xie Yuansheng sat on the bed there and then. "We are going to have a child?" he asked.

The doctor once again replied, "There are fair chances that this is the most plausible cause of your condition. But we still need to check, so I would advise you to go to the hospital first and confirm your doubts." The doctor left soon after that.

Both Xie Yuansheng and Feng Xinying kept on staring at the doctor as he exited the room. Then Xie Yuansheng looked at Feng Xinying and suddenly he became panicky, "Xinying, we are going to have a child. Oh my god! That was the best birthday present I could ever get from anyone!" he embraced his wife tightly. She was still in a daze.

They became quiet all over again. Neither of them didn't know what to say. Suddenly Xie Yuansheng exclaimed, "Xinying! It is going to cost so much more money. I have to double my efforts into raising the baby."

Feng Xinying looked up at his face with wide eyes and he looked down at her. She nodded. "Yes darling you have to work harder now. Also I have never made a baby change the diapers before. I have to learn how to make him wear diapers…"

"What do we do now?" asked Xie Yuansheng.

It was at that instant that Lu Boyun announced, "Miss Keira and Xie Shengjun are coming within five minutes."

Xie Yuansheng nodded and Lu Boyun went away. He picked Feng Xinying on his lap as though protecting his most precious treasure. He got his hands on her tummy and leaned his head on her shoulder. "My two most precious gems in the world."

"But we need to confirm whether I am pregnant or not," replied Feng Xinying.

"I am sure you are pregnant," said Xie Yuansheng as he looked at her affectionately. After all those were his sperms that were in her. They must have done their work efficiently. How dare she even thought that she wasn't pregnant. "Xinying, I think I better start four or five more companies, else we might become poor. How are we going to afford our baby?"

Keira and Xie Shengjun entered at that point of time. Keira glared at Feng Xinying for not wearing what she had given her. Feng Xinying looked back at her not understanding what her glare meant.

Xie Yuansheng looked at them and then with the most stupid expression on his face said, "We are pregnant."

"What?" Keira and Xie Shengjun said in unison.

"Omo!" Keira ran to Feng Xinying who was still sitting in Xie Yuansheng's lap and held her hand. "Really?"

"We have to get the pregnancy confirmed…" she replied.

"It is confirmed darling. We are pregnant."

Keira looked at Xie Yuansheng. "You are not pregnant. You have made Feng Xinying pregnant!"

Xie Yuansheng looked at Keira as though throwing knives at her. It was his baby! He could feel that he was also pregnant. He held Feng Xinying tightly and said, "This is my pregnancy." Everyone in the room laughed at him.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go to the hospital!" said Keira urging Feng Xinying not to waste any time.

Feng Xinying smiled and got down from Xie Yuansheng's lap as he got up also. She giggled and she held Keira's hand.

"Can you imagine the two of us being pregnant together?" said Keira. She was ecstatic and so was Xie Shengjun.

"Happy Birthday brother," said Xie Shengjun giving him a bear hug.
