Feng Xinying had dozed off in the arms of Xie Yuansheng in the balcony. He had picked her and placed her on the bed. She was aware when he tucked her and she waited for him to come and lie down beside her. She didn't know when she had gone off to sleep but when she woke up next, she didn't find him. She looked at the time. It was 11PM. Worried, she got up and looked around but he was nowhere to be seen.

When Xie Yuansheng came back home, he saw her panic stricken. "Where did you go, Xie Yuansheng?" she asked with the phone in her hand.

Xie Yuansheng narrowed his eyes wondering if she had already received the news about Ho Rad from Su Haobing. He stared at her trying to read her facial expressions. "I had gone out for an urgent work outside Feng Xinying."

"What can be so urgent that it needed you attention at this hour?" Feng Xinying asked.

"One of the employees had met with an accident. When he was taken to the hospital, they called my number as it was listed in the first place," lied Xie Yuansheng.

"Oh!" Feng Xinying looked relieved. She tossed her phone on the bedside table and got up to go to Xie Yuansheng. She hugged him tightly. She felt the holster tied around his waist but didn't ask anything because she knew that it was a protection he needed all the time.

Xie Yuansheng held her close to him. "Stop being worried about me darling…" he stroked her hair again. He kissed her head and took her to the bed. "Sleep. I will join you in five minutes." He tucked her again in the blanket. Xie Yuansheng took a shower and joined her soon. He checked his phone. There were more than ten missed calls from her. "Oh so that is why the phone was with her." He smiled and kissed her rosy lips.

He couldn't sleep well and kept thinking about Ho Rad. Why would the old man visit Lim De Zhi's office and that too on weekends? Did that man knew Lim De Zhi? Xie Yuansheng was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't realize when he fell asleep.

They woke up together in the morning with Feng Xinyin feeling so hungry that she wanted to eat everything in the refrigerator while Xie Yuansheng was only trying his best to prepare something nutritious for her. It was after he had prepared nice fish stew for her that she was satisfied. Her hunger had increased and she was also scared that she would become fat.

"Xie Yuansheng, I am scared that my body is going to bloat now! I feel hungry all the time!" she exclaimed.

"That is fine my dear. Just don't starve our little bun. He is still getting warm in your tummy and need all the nutrition possible," replied Xie Yuansheng tenderly. He had even started thinking of names for his little bun. And that reminded him that he had to buy so many dresses for her. He had planned never to build a nursery for their baby. He or she would sleep with the parents for as long as possible. He couldn't bear the idea of being separated from his baby.

Feng Xinying chuckled as she left the kitchen and went out for a walk in the garden. Xie Yuansheng went to get ready for the office. When Feng Xinying was walking, she was so happy to see the sun rays falling leaves and filling the air around her with its warmth. She smiled as she walked. She was looking at the fish that were running around in the small fountain of the garden when her phone rang.

"Young Miss, there is a very strange news," said Su Haobing.

"What happened? Have they changed the meeting venue again?" she asked, totally exasperated.

"No young miss but Su Lang's connection has been killed. They say that he was killed by none other than the leader of the organization. This means that Su Lang won't be able to get any information regarding the meeting for some time now."

Feng Xinying was shocked. "Do you know why was that man killed?"

"Su Lang says that perhaps he had been leaking information to third parties. The point is that now even Su Lang has become extremely careful. Now not only there is no one to ask things about, he cannot probe further. Ho Rad was a senior in the gang and his death has shook everyone inside."

"Ask him to stay low for now," said Feng Xinying. "We would see how this goes later on."

"Okay, young miss."

"Let us continue with our original plans to kill the leader during the meeting," she added.

"Okay…"

Feng Xinying disconnected the call. She went inside to check upon Xie Yuansheng. When he came out, she said, "Xie Yuansheng, I am getting bored now-a-days. There is nothing that I do during the day. I would like to go to your office and assist you…"

Xie Yuansheng smiled and said, "Okay, do you want to come with me today?"

"I would love to, but I am not ready. Can I come later? I will get lunch for you," she asked.

"Yes, sure dear," said Xie Yuansheng and left. He already had something in his mind to keep Feng Xinying occupied – a kind of a toy that should be easy to manage with her skill levels.

In the afternoon when Feng Xinying went to the office, Xie Yuansheng was talking on the phone with his lawyer. Feng Xinying heard the word, "Starline" and wondered what he was talking about. When he finished the conversation he went to Feng Xinying, hugged her and said, "How is my baby doing?"

"I am doing fine. What were you talking about Starline?" asked Feng Xinying with a curious smile.

Xie Yuansheng left her and said, "I was talking about my little bun."

Feng Xinying's mouth became wide. She was jealous.

"What about me?" she exclaimed.

"Well, for you I have something," he said as he had a piece of prawn from the plate she served him.
