Feng Xinying was so heartbroken that for the next two days she was once again unable to eat properly. Lu Boyun and Keira were finding it tough to make her eat anything. It was as if she had withdrawn within herself. She was feeling so negative that her soul was gnawing her life. She didn't want to live. Time and again Keira would remind her of the baby that belonged to Xie Yuansheng and asked her to become strong for the sake of the baby. There were too many things that Feng Xinying was associated with and Keira kept her reminding of those. At the same time, Jiao Long also used to come and supported Feng Xinying through the tough times.

As soon as the news of Xie Yuansheng's condition reached the company, it was circulated on the company's portal. The company shares plunged and the board members were all in chaos. A new head was needed immediately. A circular was sent to the shareholders and investors that the company was going through tumultuous times and that they should have patience.

Meanwhile at the company Chang Ling was planning a whole new game. Even though the family was looking for Lim Chuen who had been missing, Chang Ling was thinking of the best move she had ever had her three lives. As Wang Zirong she had never been able to successfully have a good grip over the company. She tried so hard to become Xie Yuansheng's wife but unfortunately because of Feng Xinying, she couldn't get him. She did love Xie Yuansheng a lot right from the school days and so she tried a lot to make him hers by hook or by crook. The last time when she tried to kill Feng Xinying with the help of Lim Chuen, he came to rescue his wife much to her disappointment. The worst part was that he killed her but God had given her yet another chance and she reincarnated in Chang Ling's body.

Once again her revenge started. At first, Lim Chuen did not like her but she gained his confidence to the extent that he asked her to join the Feng Conglomerate as their Vice President. However, after seeing Xie Yuansheng, she had again melted and wanted to become his. She tried her best to create as many misunderstandings between him and Feng Xinying as possible. She even projected wrong numbers and image for the swimwear project but she underestimated Feng Xinying's intelligence. The way Feng Xinying came out of it was simply surprising for her. In the end it resulted in her expulsion from the company and once again she lost Xie Yuansheng.

When Xie Yuansheng had offered her husband that she become the VP of the company after the township project, she was shocked as to why was he giving her a second chance in the company. She came to know from her resources that they were actually giving a favor to Lim De Zhi so that he split from Lim Chuen. As far as she was concerned, she was in the winning position and hence decided to go with what her husband wanted. She had started ignoring Lim Chuen who was nothing but a stepping stone for her. Although Lim Chuen had tried to contact her a number of times when she had been reappointed as the Vice President with Feng Conglomerate, she would only ignore his requests. When he would come to meet her, she would find some or the other excuse to not meet him. Now that he was missing, it had been a relief for her even though she didn't understand as to why was his wife also not very sad about it.

When Chang Ling heard the news about Xie Yuansheng, the first thing she did was to meet two board members who were mostly abstaining from most of the decision that Xie Yuansheng used to make. She discussed her strategy with them and offered them ten percent of the company's shares in exchange of favoring her move.

Next target were two other board members who were womanizers. It was easiest to trap them. All she had to do was send a couple of women to them and then shoot their videos. Those two board members were blackmailed into favoring her in exchange for the video recordings.

It was tough to talk to the rest of the board members. But she needed was favor of fifty-one percent of board members. She called an urgent meeting of the board members. The meeting was called the day the doctor announced that Xie Yuansheng had slipped into a coma.

In the meeting Chang Ling staked her claim to the position of CEO of the Feng Conglomerate. She wanted to make her moves as soon as possible because she didn't want to give Feng Xinying a chance to recover. "Xie Yuansheng is in no condition to be the CEO of the company anymore. His wife is the owner of the company but we have to understand that she is not qualified to be the CEO of a company like the Feng Conglomerate. We should let her attend her husband. On the other hand, since my father-in-law has the largest shares so far, I will use that power to stake claim for the position of CEO of the company."

"Chang Ling, this is absurd! How can you even think of staking claim so soon?" said one of the loyalists to her after she staked claim.

"Why can't I? This is business world. Our shares in the market have plunged and we have to take quick decisions," she replied.

"We can always wait for a week or ten days before taking any hasty decisions. Also we need to seek advice from Miss Xinying," he retorted.

Chang Ling saw that many board members were agreeing to him so she quickly said, "Feng Xinying is not in a condition to take care of the company at the moment. How can you think that a woman whose husband has just slipped into a coma would even become the CEO of the company? Hence I will put my claim in front of you in the next three days." Saying that she had exited the board meeting in a joyous mood that no one could stop her now. She played well both emotionally as well as physically.
