Manager Hun went out of the office with a gloomy expression. It was impossible to argue with Miss Xinying because she was just too cunning and smart. Moreover, the fact that she was the owner of the company, he couldn't argue with her because he didn't want to risk leaving his job at the moment especially because Shu Jing Min had entrusted him with a great responsibility, which was to make sure that Feng Xinying doesn't sabotage his company. Manager Hun knew that it was just a matter of few days. When Shu Ning would get married to the business investor, the company would be saved. The marriage was going to happen next Wednesday.

Feng Xinying left for home early after attending a few more meetings. She wanted to meet Keira also to know the latest about Kate hence she asked the driver to go to Keira's house. When she reached their house, she was informed by the servants that Keira had been taken to the hospital on urgent basis. Feng Xinying asked as to which hospital was she taken. Upon knowing the address, she rushed to the hospital. She called Xie Shengjun to know what had happened to Keira but he wasn't picking the phone.

Feng Xinying became extremely nervous. She asked the driver to drive as fast as possible to the hospital. She didn't even want to think as to what could have gone wrong with Keira. She closed her hand into a tight fist while praying to God that everything was fine.

They reached the hospital in the next half an hour and Feng Xinying rushed to the nurse's station to find out about Keira. However, Keira's father was standing right there with tears in his eyes that he was fighting hard to not let them roll down. Feng Xinying felt a heavy burden on her. She gulped and went to him. She asked in a very low voice, "Where is Keira and what happened to her?"

Her father looked at Feng Xinying and took a deep breath. He said, "Keira is admitted to the VIP ward." Her father guided Feng Xinying to the ward. While walking towards it, Feng Xinying could hear Keira crying loudly. So many thoughts cross Feng Xinying's mind that her mind became numb. When she reached the door of the VIP ward, she opened it and saw that Xie Shengjun was sitting beside Keira and stroking her hair while she was lying on the bed covered in a blanket. Her mother was standing right beside her and held her hand.

Feng Xinying rushed to Keira's side and held her other hand tightly in hers.

"Xinying!" Keira called her out.

"Keira, babes what happened? Please tell me that you are absolutely fine," said Feng Xinying.

Keira looked at her with teary eyes and said, "In the morning there was a big drama between me and Kate."

"What drama?" Feng Xinying felt her anger rising.

Kate sniffled and said, "Don't worry Xinying, it is nothing I want to tell you."

"Tell me Keira, else I will feel sad," replied Feng Xinying.

Kate said, "I was having tea when suddenly Kate came and she started fighting with me. She complained that I was extremely unfair to her as a sister. After the fiasco she had created at your place, she had been boiling with angst. She had fought with mother and father who were sending her to America the next day. She didn't want to go and said that she would go after two months only. But father had already made the arrangements for her to leave tonight. Kate was very unhappy with his decision and so she came to my house to blame me for all the misfortune of her life. She said that had I supported with her in your house for Xie Yuansheng, her life would have been better. When I retorted, she became highly aggressive and pushed me down."

At this point of time, Xie SHengjun looked at Keira's mother who was looking dejected as hell. She left Keira's hand and left the room.

"Pushed you down? Is she mad?" shouted Feng Xinying. "Doesn't she know you are pregnant?"

Keira's tears were uncontrollable. "I hit the table and was on the floor. The next I saw was slight bleeding in my pajamas. Kate ran away after she pushed me. I called Xie Shengjun and he rushed me to the hospital. The doctor performed the tests. There is no damage to the baby, but because of this problem I have to stay in bed until I give birth to my baby."

This time it was Feng Xinying who felt extremely helpless. She couldn't do anything to Kate and she had to just see her friend suffering for the drama. She started blaming herself for it inside. "I am so sorry Keira. I didn't know that Kate would react so viciously. This is my fault. I shouldn't have called you that day."

Xie Shengjun left Keira's hand and stood up. He said in a loud voice, "Feng Xinying it is not your fault. It is the fault of the parents. Why did they not stop Kate? If anything happens to my baby, trust me I will kill Kate and that is not a threat!"

Keira tried to hold Xie Shengjun's hand and said, "No Shengjun, please leave her. She is a young girl and immature!"

Xie Shengjun was on a different zone. He looked at Keira and said, "You don't know me Keira. No one and I mean no one messes with the people I love and there are just three people I am very close to, Xie Yuansheng, Feng Xinying and you. Imagine what level I can go to if someone tries to mess with my baby!"

He spoke with so much ferociousness that Keira flinched. He looked sinisterly dangerous, like a wounded lion.

Feng Xinying looked at him and could feel a chill down her spine. She looked at Keira and asked, "So you have to stay in bed until you give birth?"

"Yes," replied Keira. "I can sit and walk a little, but nothing more than that." She wiped her tears. "I will do all that Xinying. I just want my baby to be safe."
