Jiao Long went to Shu Ning's room and scolded her. "Our business is down and the only way it can be brought up is if you marry that man," she said and glared at Shu Ning for not understanding the situation. She continued, "Despite the fact that you are not his daughter, Shu Jing Min had not only given you his name, but also money and a chance of good education. It is time you pay him back. As your mother, I am also worried about you. Shu Jing Min is going to go mad and all hell would break loose if you don't do as he wishes. He hardly bothers about you, but he bothers about his business a lot and if you have to be sacrificed for it, then so be it."

"Mother, how can you say that?" asked Shu Ning with tears in her eyes. Her mother was her worst enemy. Why couldn't she understand her agony? She felt like a lamb about to be slaughtered. "What about my feelings? I cannot marry anyone who I don't even know!"

Jiao Long clenched her jaws and said, "Now listen to me, Shu Ning. You better get prepared to marry the investor and we are marrying you off tomorrow!"

Shu Ning's eyes grew wide with shock and fear. Tomorrow? Before she could react, Jiao Long had stomped out her room.

There was a lot to be done for the marriage. The first thing was to arrange for a bridal dress. Jiao Long had many contacts in the Marriage Bureau and so a time was fixed for signing the marriage certificate.

The investor was informed and he sounded extremely happy when he heard that the marriage was being rushed. He agreed to come to the Marriage Bureau at the given time.

Shu Jing Min had a dialogue with the investor whereby he made him agree to instantly offer Feng Xinying to buy back his shipping company the moment the marriage certificate was signed.

Everyone, except Shu Ning, was looking forward to the next day.

Feng Xinying was sipping her chicken soup, which Xie Yuansheng had prepared for her. He was watching her have it with lots of love. He could never understand her craving for the chicken soup and why was it that she loved the one he made. Nonetheless, he loved feeding her. After Kate's episode, the things had spiraled down but now it was looking good with her around him all the time. The day passed with him pampering her a lot.

It was in the evening that Feng Xinying received a call from Cai Xin that Shu Ning has got married at 5PM just before the bureau closed and she was afraid that Shu Jing Min would come to the office the next day.

Feng Xinying was shocked. The marriage was supposed to take place two days later. How the hell did it bring forward? She was baffled and suddenly lost her appetite. She kept the soup bowl down. Xie Yuansheng looked at her and asked getting alarmed at her nervous expression, "What is it, Feng Xinying?"

She shook her head and said, "Nothing, don't worry." Saying that she left the room and went to her bedroom where she could speak with Xie Shengjun in privacy.

Xie Shengjun was with Keira when the call came. He had helped her sit up on the bed, as she was bored of lying the whole day. He was about to switch on the TV when the phone rang.

"Xie Shengjun, did you hear the news?" she asked directly.

"What news, Xinying?" he asked perplexed at her statement. She sounded very nervous.

"Shu Ning has been married today itself."

Xie Shengjun's face darkened. He hadn't anticipated that Shu Jing Min would take a step so smart and that too this quick. "What do you want me to do?" he asked without wasting time in asking nonsense questions.

"Where is BF currently?" she asked.

"In the jail."

Shu Ning had to be threatened by Shu Jing Min with dire consequences in order to get married. Her eyes were swollen red because of all the crying. Her mother had accompanied her to the Marriage Bureau along with her father and few gunmen just in case she decided to run away.

The certificate was signed and was handed over to the groom. Since it was evening, nothing much could be done except to go back home. The groom looked ecstatic and promised Shu Jing Min that he would reach Feng Xinying's office tomorrow morning and offered her the money for buyback. Shu Jing Min nodded. He wasn't satisfied until the company was back with him.

The groom was looking forward to take the bride to his home. He had already pictured her naked in his bed. He was drooling over her. His lewd looks were freaking out Shu Ning. So while going out, she said, "Can I spend the rest of my day with mother and father today? I will come to your place tomorrow." She felt repulsed going out with him. His face fell at her request, but so many people were standing there, so he had to reluctantly say, "Okay… but you should come tomorrow morning itself."

"I will," she replied feeling happy inside.

Next day, right in the morning, Shu Jing Min called the investor. He said that he was on his way to pick him up to reach Feng Xinying's office.

Jing Min had already called Feng Xinying's secretary and fixed an appointment with her for 10AM in the morning but she said that she would come by 11AM. He suggested to the investor that once the buyback was done, they would reach the house and pick Shu Ning from there on the way back.

The investor agreed but said that he was coming on his own.

Shu Jing Min and the investor reached Feng Xinying's office exactly at 11AM.

Meanwhile Shu Ning had formulated a plan to befool her groom and get the money out of him for BF's bail.
