The Rise of the White Lotus Chapter 353 – Love, why are you doing this to me?

Lexi and Ethan Lu’s meaningful event went on without any interruption. It continued for another hour before one after another, they gave their regards to the two newly engaged and expecting parents. By the time the poor Elliot Gong was forced to assist Rika Song who went there alone and now was tipsy from all the singing and drinking, Lexi and Ethan Lu headed to the hotel he booked to stay.

After all, it would take another several hours to return to their home. Given Lexi’s condition, he decided that it would be safer to stay at the nearest hotel and travel back home the next day. Moreover, he already canceled all of his plans for the next three days as he has to be with her on her first appointment to the doctor.

When they arrived at the hotel, Lexi instantly freshened up while Ethan Lu had to stay on an important call. By the time he finished the call, Lexi was already done showering and exited the bathroom with only a bathrobe covering her body.

Just as Ethan Lu graced his eyes with Lexi’s figure that was drying her hair with a small towel, his brows furrowed when Lexi raised her gaze to him and smirked. He watched her take slow strides in his direction.

When Lexi drew closer and closer and stopped in front of him, she unhesitantly sn.a.k.e.d her slender arms around his waist while she rested her head on his firm chest. Lexi then retracted her other arm as her forefinger circled on his chest.

“Love, you know I missed you right?” Sweet and innocent, Lexi dropped a hint as her body was instantly aroused the moment she saw him standing with a serious side profile while retracting the phone from in front of his ear— indicating that the line ended.

“Uh… my love, what are you doing?” Surprised by her sudden calling, Ethan Lu nearly gasped as he raised both his hands as Lexi was extra sweet. God knows that Lexi could seduce him whether she was purposely being seductive or acting cute and adorable in her own way.

“Nothing…” Feigning innocence, Lexi shamelessly lied without batting an eye. Raising her head, a mischievous grin could not help but display on her lips as she tiptoed and briefly caught his lips.

“I’m just showing my love.” Shrugging her shoulder, Lexi let go of him before she hummed away and headed to the vanity mirror where a blow dryer was placed. Without a care in the world or the impact she had caused on Ethan Lu, Lexi dried her hair as if she was the most immaculate woman on the entire planet.

Ethan Lu just stood there like a fool as he could not believe his fiancee. How could she do that to him? Teasing him knowing that she was pregnant. Indeed, since he was a first-time father and didn’t have the slightest clue of the do’s and don’t’s, Ethan Lu considered everything as don’t’s, including making love.

Gritting his teeth, Ethan Lu complained. “Heartless! Heartless wife!” Spatting his protest, Ethan Lu stomped his way to the bathroom to cool his slowly heating body. Lexi was well versed in his weak spots and played with his frail heart. Therefore, with that simple gesture, Ethan Lu was actually aroused and resumed his plan to serve her with pleasure.

The moment the door of the bathroom closed, Lexi burst out laughing. Actually, while she was bathing, she already planned to tease him as he was entirely oblivious of what he should and shouldn’t do. Well, she already did her research and read a few articles to make sure that they are allowed to make love.

In the article, it was said that it was safe if she was not in any sensitive condition. Still, Lexi wanted to visit the doctor to confirm her pregnancy situation and what she should avoid. However, Lexi didn’t expect that Ethan Lu would look so damn hot despite looking a little tired and messy. Moreover, with that rare, solemn, unsmiling side profile— how could she not get attracted the instant she saw that side of him?

“Hormones… calm down.” Turning off the hairdryer, Lexi shushed her perverted inner thoughts as she had to get herself checked first, health wise.

By the time Ethan Lu finally finished bathing and cooling down his heated body, Lexi was already under the sheet, yawning. It had already become her habit to wait for him while laying down and facing where the bathroom was at. 

“Love, why aren’t you asleep yet?” Tilting his head to the side, Ethan Lu thought that he was already safe and finally cooled down. Hence, he confidently strode towards her and sat at the edge of the bed. 

“I’m waiting for you to put me to sleep.” With a blanket covering half of her face, Lexi meekly responded which brought a gentle smile on his lips. 

“Alright, I’ll dry my hair and we’ll sleep, okay?” To some, it might be bothersome. But to him, Lexi rarely gets too clingy or needy. Therefore, sometimes, he has to beg her to rely on him more which they have been trying to fix together. 

As soon as Ethan Lu finished drying his hair, he returned to her and filled the other side of the bed. To his surprise, when he sn.a.k.e.d his hands around her, he instantly touched her bare skin that sent a slight electric shock to his every nerve. 

“First time?” With a smirk, Lexi giggled as she snuggled with him. She wasn’t completely n.a.k.e.d as she was still wearing a think lace panty… that’s all. Still, that was already enough to tease him. 

“Love…” Snapping to the extent of losing his rationality, Ethan Lu’s eyes darkened as he lowly growled. She could feel his fresh minty breath caressed her nose as he called her. 

“Why are you doing this to me?” He added under his breath. With that said note, Ethan Lu lifted her chin and placed soft, feather-like kisses until it became more intense and long.
