Lexi chuckled as she somehow could hear Avah Tong’s curses and hateful remarks to her . Well, it was not that she necessarily need to meet the woman .

If anything, she didn’t want to see Avah Tong anymore . However, since Lexi assumed that she was being watched from afar, having Avah Tong be caught seeing her would raise awareness of their enemies action .

After all, Avah Tong still knew a thing or two in the Lu Corporation — especially since she was once Dennis Lu’s woman, she knew who are the people scheming with the said man . Therefore, this meeting would lead them to think twice of their action .

Since they couldn’t just mindlessly make a move, that would lead her and Ethan Lu to be a step ahead of them . Despite its cons, its pros were worthy to take the gamble .

“Who would have thought she would be useful in other ways too?” Lexi chuckled as she shook her head . Well, not that she was to complain about it .

Just then, Nico Zhuang knocked from outside before he entered her office . The moment he opened the door, Lexi’s faint chuckle assailed his ears .

Upon hearing it, his under eye twitched . Her chuckle just sounded so scheming that he had the urge to question if he was following a heroine or the villain . Regardless, that thought vanished just as it intruded his mind .

“Madam, about the distribution to C Mall branch, we had a miscommunication with the person in-charge and the stocks are now in pending . ” As usual, Nico Zhuang bore his flat tone as he reported to the still chuckling Lexi . Knitting his brows, he prompted to ask questions but held himself back .

“Alright, I’ll go contact Aubrey about it . ” Lexi cleared her throat as she nodded her head in understanding .

“Okay . . . ” Nico Zhuang nodded his head . Usually, he would leave after hearing her response, but for some reason, he stayed for a while and just stared at her .

“What?” Sensing his unwillingness to leave, Lexi glanced up at him and tilted her head to the side .

“Nothing,” Shaking his head sideways, Nico Zhuang shrugged and prepared to leave .

“Ah! By the way, Avah Tong will drop by here . Inform the front desk to assist her in . ” Before he could leave the office, Lexi noted which made him turn around with a furrowed brow .

“Avah Tong?” Nico Zhuang frowned at the thought of that troublesome woman . Well, he was present at their encounter and wouldn’t forget how delusional the woman was .

Therefore, although he said nothing back when Lexi kept her around AL’s entertainment, he disagreed with her . But now, she was letting Avah Tong inside Beauty DR as well?

“Mhmm,” Lexi hummed a tune as the corner of her lips stretched into a meek smile . “Don’t worry, it’s not a big deal . If you’re worried, you meet her instead and report to me whatever she said . I only need her to be seen coming here, anyway . ” Lexi indifferently instructed .

To her, Nico Zhuang might be the composed type of person and appeared indifferent . But he’s actually a worry wart . Hence, to reassure him, Lexi said as she didn’t care if it would displeased Avah Tong, anyway .

“Alright,” Nodding, Nico Zhuang preferred her suggestions . In that case, whatever silly thoughts the said woman has, it wouldn’t work on him . With that agreement, Nico Zhuang left her office .

“I sometimes think they got this part of them from Ethan . ” As the door closed, Lexi chuckled while she shook her head sideways .

Be it Lyrick Jiang, Jarred Guo, or Nico Zhuang, these three musketeers were equally selfless it worried her . They usually put her and Ethan’s safety first before themselves . Therefore, how could Lexi make them always worry?

After an hour drive, Avah Tong arrived at the establishment . Chinned up, she headed inside with poise . The click of her stilettos accompanied her every step, her waist motioned sideways along with it .

With a confident aura, Avah Tong caught a few attentions of the employees around . Since her face seemed new, others peered at her with interest — trying to find out if she was a celebrity as well .

After all, their big boss was the legendary Lexi Yang . Hence, few of their clients that appeared in this building were celebrities; Rika Song, for example .

“I’m here to see Miss Yang . ” Ignoring the interested gazes that were set on her, Avah Tong leaned her arms on the front desk with a slight smile on her red tainted lips .

“May I know your name please?” Already trained by Lexi’s beauty, the front desk clerk courteously smiled as another beauty didn’t surprise her anymore .

“Avah Tong . ” Upon stating her name, the employee looked up the schedule and expecting clients that has an appointment with Lexi . Avah Tong patiently let the lady do her job and looked around while she waits .

“Hi Miss Chang!” Not far away from the front desk, Avah Tong arched her brows as her gaze moved to the direction where she heard the voice .

After a second, Avah Tong saw a woman — a very familiar one — smiling as she greeted some employees back in the same light manner . Avah Tong’s eyes slowly widened upon seeing Andy Chang, her whole body froze in a second .

“Miss Tong, the CEO is still in a meeting . But, I can assist you to her office where you can wait for her . ” The clerk said yet, Avah Tong failed to hear her as her gaze was fixed at the smiling Andy Chang .

“Miss Tong?” Tilting her head to the side, the front desk lady softly called out to snap her from her daze but to no avail .

Andy Chang somehow felt a strange stare from somewhere hence, she turned her head to the direction . To her surprise, the person that was staring at her with an equal surprised front seemed so familiar . “Big sis . . . ?”

“Ugh,” Avah Tong snapped back to reality the instant she had an eye contact with Andy Chang . Without further ado, she turned her back and took hurried strides out of the company .

“Wait—!” Seeing that Avah Tong was hastily leaving, Andy Chang called as she followed her figure . However, with their original distance, Andy Chang couldn’t catch up on her .

Regardless, with a feeling of desperation, her gaze was fixed on Avah Tong’s distant figure without concerning herself to her own steps . Thus, when Andy Chang bumped into another employee, she tripped and fell face front .

Fortunately, a petite yet strong arm wrapped around her, stopping her impending fall . “Miss Chang, what are you doing?” Nico Zhuang asked .
