Chapter 1924: Only Lu Li Can Save Us
Translator: Exodus Tales Editor: Exodus Tales
“You’re laughing like two idiots! Even if you are taking it easy, you could still give some advice. Could it be that ordinary First Clear team members don’t have to do this sort of duty?” Wandering couldn’t hold it in any longer. He wanted to finish fighting quickly then head home to sleep.
It had nothing to do with the fact that sleep was the biggest enemy of beauty. He was simply lazy.
“Huh, you’re talking ’bout me?” Only after Lu Li came back to his senses did he realise that everyone was looking at him.
“Otherwise, you’re just showing off PDA. You’re still doing it. Look at your output, you’re going to be in the second tier team soon,” Azure Sea Breeze couldn’t stand it any longer either. He just couldn’t take it anymore.
“Man, Thieves got nerfed for the Instance Dungeons this patch! Those monsters,” Lu Li joked.
“So tired, we’ve fought this Boss for so long,” Water Fairy said quietly to the side.
“Yeah, we’ve fought for so long. I’ve had some thoughts over this process, we avoid the spray in the first stage, needless to say, the commander can just take points away if they don’t avoid it.” As soon as Lu Li heard his girl was tired, he immediately turned into the top commander in Dawn. In his analysis, he made many points, “And as for the Main Tank… two Warriors and two Riders, why not change it to two Warriors and two Druids…”
“I’ll just head off to bed then,” As soon as Wandering heard all this, he took the chance to get out.
“Actually, it’d also be ok with a Rider Tank,” Lu Li had spoken a bit too late. Wandering had already finished reading his Hearthstone.
People who didn’t know might still think he left because he was angry. Only those who understood him knew that he really didn’t want to keep going. After all, they had died over ten times fighting Serpentshrine Cavern. Anyone would feel annoyed, let alone a lazy guy like him.

“One Tank wears a natural resistance transmog set, the other wears an ice resistance transmog set, and their rate of block doesn’t matter, as long as their equipment’s alright.”
“I’ve noticed you can’t really run when the Boss releases water on the graveyard. Don’t just wait for the commander to speak up, it’ll be too late by then. There aren’t any noobs on the field, can’t you make some judgements for yourself?”
“You’re going really well in the second stage changing the Tank, so I don’t have to say anything there. However, in the third stage, can you deal with the little monsters a bit quicker, just save the output skills to that stage and it should be ok.”
“Um, that’s all.”
Sky Moon humbly accepted instruction, feeling that what Lu Li advised really made sense. They immediately adjusted the team here and set some new positions.
After dying twice more, they finally defeated the Boss.
“When you’re commanding, you don’t have to be so focused. You’re too nervous, that way you’ll become the most tired person on the field, and fatigue would lower your reaction time. So, when you issue commands, it’ll too late.”
This was what Lu Li said to Sky Moon to conclude.
After they finished fighting they split up the equipment. Others went back to rest, but naturally, Water Fairy wasn’t tired anymore.
In order to not have her be tired, Lu Li got into action and finished up the Boss. This was simply a textbook example of a dominant leader.
Serpentshrine Cavern drops were considered T5 level equipment, and the unaffiliated drops were better than the last few Instance Dungeons too, so Dark Gold was a popular item that everyone was chasing after too. Generally speaking, there weren’t any quiet auctions.
From the first Boss, Lu Li got a Ring of Lethality, and didn’t actually have to spend much DKP for it. After all, it was just an interim piece of equipment.
This Boss dropped blueprints too.
‘Plans: Red Belt of Battle’, plate armour output equipment, Dark Gold level. This blueprint could make 10 of them, which was already pretty good. Top teams had no use for it, it was more for the weaker teams who were skill farming KLZ.

This was the good thing about a large-scale club, those at the front threw things to those at the back. And after they got them, they would have a head-start over the average player.
The second Boss was the Fathom-Lord Karathress.
Karathress was originally a top Elite. When the Well of Eternity exploded, power came down in torrents onto the lives of many top Elites. However, after he received this turbulent flow of power. Not only did he survive, he even received some strange powers.
When Karathress was woken in the freezing dark depths of the sea, he realised in surprise that he had a body like a snake. The top Elites who had survived with him were called the Naga. What made him even more surprised was that he realised he was able to harness the power of his fallen comrades’ souls.
He was ecstatic to receive this new ability and came up with a plan.
Karathress used his power to stand out above the rest in Naga society. But Naga society didn’t allow males to reach very high positions, so he prepared to gain respect for himself by physical force. He even considered, when he was powerful enough, abolishing the matriarchal Naga system. But there might be a day when he had to challenge his limitless magic, his master that no one could oppose – Queen Azshara.
He was working hard for that day. To the queen, he was a loyal guard and her officer.
However, as soon as he left the queen’s palace, he became the most dangerous assassin in Nazjatar city. He eliminated every enemy he set his sight on and kept absorbing their abilities. In Naga society, if men fought like this, as long as they weren’t caught, it was legal. Karathress grew stronger day after day.
After Vashj pledged her allegiance to Illidan, he voluntarily applied to be a military vanguard of the Outland. He knew there were more chances to absorb others’ abilities on the battlefield. In every battle that followed, he led those right under his command, himself at the helm, gaining Vashj’s deep appreciation, and getting the title ‘Fathom-Lord’.
He held in his hand a ‘World Breaker.’
It was a very exquisite Druid weapon, dealing great damage and having a high chance of critical hits, as well as looking really awesome.
This Boss brought with him three little brothers. When they saw them, after Sky Moon thought for a bit, he gave the command that Remnant Dream was to Misdirect one of the Boss’s little brothers.
Evidently, he was imitating how Lu Li fought in Gruul’s lair.
Lu Li didn’t tell him that this wouldn’t work, because when First Clearing, they needed to try all sorts of things, and Misdirecting was evidently something that was worth a try.
Of course, the main reason for trying this is that only Azure Sea Breeze would have to deal with the consequences.
Other people just kicked back and watched the show.
After messing around for a bit, they finally realised that Misdirecting it to kill it in isolation wasn’t possible, if they were killing them one by one.
So did they have to kill them all together, or kill them one by one?
The conclusion was to kill them one by one.
Then which one was better to kill first?
They only got a verdict after fighting all day. They would kill the Deep Guardian Sharkkis first, which was the Hunter little brother, then the Shaman little brother, the Deep Guardian Tidalvess, and finally the Priest little brother the Deep Guardian Caribdis.
The hardest part about this monster was the loss of players at the frontlines. If they could limit the number of people they lost, then the Boss later wouldn’t be a problem.
They fought a few times again on the second day, and Sky Moon finally led everyone to defeat the Boss.
Everyone had a taste of what entering this Instance Dungeon was like. They always thought it was easier to follow Lu Li into an Instance Dungeon. Azure Sea Breeze, who absolutely hated Lu Li before, now looked at him with eyes full of affection.

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)

Lorian Fate
Lorian always wanted to visit the stars. One day a dashing young businessman offers her a job with the promise that, if things work out, she'll get her chance. Little do they know that her journey amongst the stars will become the stuff of legends. Literal legends. Clinical immortality courtesy of a resident mad scientist leads to her outlasting her employer, if not her coworkers. Given a few millenia, it's not surprising that the galaxy forgets the details of humanity's first affair with hyperspace research. The First iteration of this story has been discarded, and the latest iteration starts... when I get around to writing it.
