Chapter 1929: Tsunami Talisman
Lu Li didn’t get any Skill Points. There were only a total of two Skill Points given for the 25 players, so it was quite normal that he didn’t get any of them.
He also didn’t receive Thief equipment among the T5 equipment dropped. This was also quite normal because he wasn’t the only Thief there.
But what the First Clear awarded him with was pretty good.
The Tsunami Talisman!
Who dared to say that he was unlucky!
Lu Li proudly displayed his equipment to get rid of the stigma against his fortune.
“I remember that you already have the Dragonspine Trophy, what’s the point of getting the Tsunami Talisman?” Water Fairy looked at the properties of this item and felt that it was indistinguishable from the Dragonspine Trophy.
“Damn it woman! Go and stand over there!” Lu Li was angry.
He had finally managed to find an exquisite equipment and dared anyone to challenge him, but he didn’t expect it to be Water Fairy.
“There wasn’t any Thief T5 equipment and it’s probably because he is so unlucky. Water Fairy, you should break up with him. You have to,” Azure Sea Breeze teased Lu Li, as usual.
“What do you mean by what is the point of the Tsunami Talisman?” Lu Li rushed to push the item into Water Fairy’s hands, “Aren’t you missing equipment like this? You can have the Tsunami Talisman.”
Since it was the First Clear, many good items were dropped. Even the Sextant of Unstable Currents was dropped as a First Clear reward for Lonesome Flower.
Water Fairy received Fang of Vashj, an exquisite Epic dagger.
The Serpent Spine Longbow was dropped, but Remnant Dream wasn’t the recipient but Bearded Zaza instead. Remnant Dream received an impressive amount of Skill Points. Unfortunately, she wasn’t a professional player, so it was a bit of a waste.
There was a ‘Dripping Strider Egg’ dropped which was a cute pet that was taken by Remnant Dream. After completing the Serpentshrine Cavern, it was time for The Eye.

This Instance Dungeon was one they had to do. Prince Kael’thas was a being that had a chance to drop the Phoenix Mount but that was beside the point. The main point was that Water Fairy had a quest that required her to kill Prince Kael’thas. Once she did that, she would be able to transform into a Phoenix and fly. It was similar to Lu Li’s Raven Transformation.
Lu Li had long since promised to help Water Fairy acquire a flying ability, and it could now be fulfilled.
The Eye was the largest Instance Dungeon in this Instance Dungeon group. There were four Bosses in the Instance Dungeon that dropped level 70 Epic equipment and two T5 equipment.
The key to the door was obtained by completing a series of quests in Moon Shadow Valley before completing Naaru’s three quests. The hardest of these was Gruul’s Lair.
After everyone continued to accumulate equipment by farming Karazhan and other level 70 Instance Dungeons for a while, Gruul would no longer be an obstacle for players wanting to face Prince Kael’thas.
There were many races in Dawn, and there were many civilisations that produced many kingdoms. As heirs of the kingdoms and leaders among their race, the contrast between difference princes was always a topic of conversation among players. There were some that died in battle, some that betrayed the people, and some that become kings.
Karazhan’s Prince Malchezaar had just recently been killed. The Wind Elemental Prince Thunderaan had been sealed into a sword. His name was now nothing more than a blessing. Stormwind City Prince Anduin Wrynn had inherited the throne. He was one of the few princes with good luck, and who had not fallen due to a plot against him.
Lordaeron Prince Arthes Menethil was one of the most popular but most tragic princes. With immense lust for revenge, he took up the cursed weapon Frostmourne and was corrupted by the dark magic from the sword to become a Death Knight. Later, his uncle took the throne and transformed all of Lordaeron into hell on earth. He would then take the Frozen Throne and become the new Lich King.

The prince that Lu Li had to face was Prince Kael’thas. He could perform ‘Hellfire’ and summon ‘Fire Phoenix’. His betrayal, corruption, and tragic end made everyone who heard the story feel sympathetic towards him.
The undead Scourge of Arthes had destroyed Quel’Thalas. The corrupted Sunwell had not only endangered the high Elves but also all the things around it.
Kael’thas had painfully destroyed The Sunwell and renamed the High Elves to the Sin’dorei or Blood Elves in honour of those who died while defending their homes. After the Blood Elves lost the Sunwell, their craving for magic drove Prince Kael’thas to find a new source of magic. He soon became a servant of Illidan Stormrage and was tasked with guarding The Eye.
This sad prince had just wanted to use his strength to protect his subjects. There was the ugly princess and the tragic prince. These were creations of the game designers, which perhaps showed their views on royalty. Perhaps those people had been bullied by princesses and princes in their lives.
The first Boss’s First Clear had long since been taken by other clubs.
This Boss was a Phoenix, and like all Phoenixes, he had two lives. In the first stage, the Boss would fly through the air and perch on one of the four platforms. The first stage ended when the Boss’s HP dropped to 0. After a few seconds, the Boss would be reborn with full HP and the second stage would begin. The second stage was fought on the ground and when the Boss ran out of HP the fight was over. Unfortunately, it didn’t drop anything good. Lu Li and the others couldn’t wait to get to the next fight.
This Instance Dungeon was made up of groups of mobs. These groups were made up of Blood Elves, Mages, Warlocks, Paladins, and Warriors so it wasn’t easy to fight them.
Ruling Sword’s team was reduced by a third after fighting the mobs. The main problem was that they would pull too many mobs accidentally, which took a lot of effort for them to clear.
The difficulty of The Eye was mainly due to Prince Kael’thas. The previous Bosses weren’t that difficult.
The second Boss, Void Reaver, posed some difficulties for the First Clear.
The players had to keep running around but maintained a certain level of damage output.
This battled relied on strong tanks and powerful damage output players. When these conditions were satisfied, then there wasn’t much pressure on the healers.
They made sure to clear the mobs before starting the Boss, even though they were constantly respawning.
The Boss’s signature skill was Arcane Sphere. The Boss would randomly select a player and unleash an Arcane Sphere. But this skill had a long flight time, so the players could escape the area after the skill was casted.
When the sphere landed, it dealt between 4675-6325 damage within 20 yards of impact and it also silenced the players in range. Those within melee range of the Void Reaver couldn’t be selected as targets of Arcane Sphere, but this skill was casted every three seconds. The targeting didn’t follow the player, and it would just be at the position the player was when they were targeted.
There were no differences between the different stages of this fight, it was the same all the way from 100% HP to 0% HP.
Sky Moon had found a new strategy after getting wiped a few times. He arranged a few Hunters to deal damage from range and got everyone else to stand beside the Boss. Since those within melee range wouldn’t be targeted, the Hunters were specifically tasked with dodging the Arcane Spheres.
Lu Li thought that Sky Moon had come a long way, now that he was thinking independently and making his own decisions.
