Zhang Che soon saw the attributes of these poisonous bees, allowing him to heave a sigh of relief.
Their potent poison weren’t scary at all. The bees were unable to penetrate the defense of the Swamp Crocodile King armor, rendering it ineffective.
Moreover, these poisonous bees didn’t seem very fast. In addition, their numbers weren’t much. Less than twenty were flying towards him. He should be able to take them down.
Facing these aerial exotic beasts, the Dark-Scaled Lizard Commander was pretty much useless. The Gale Wolf King, on the other hand, could use its skill to attack. A pity that it could only launch six wind blades, however. He didn’t know how many targets it could take down with a single wind blade.
Although there were only slightly more than a dozen Stinger Bees flying towards him, Zhang Che still had to ensure Zheng Hongru and the others’ safety. His test would be over if anything happened to these guys.
Therefore, it became necessary to slay these Stinger Bees as quickly as possible.
The Mutated Puffersword’s skill was still on cooldown for a little while more, so Zhang Che could only let the Gale Wolf King to take the stage.
At his command, the Gale Wolf King suddenly opened its mouth wide. Several green curved blades of wind shot out from its throat, spinning as they flew at the approaching Stinger Bees.
The Wind Blades were faster than the Stinger Bees. Facing such an attack, although the Stinger Bees instinctively wanted to dodge them, they soon realized they couldn’t do so at all.
A wave of soft, crisp sounds rang out one after another. Zhang Che witnessed the Stinger Bees sliced into halves by the Gale Wolf King’s Wind Blade attack, falling onto the wild grass below. Although they didn’t die instantly, these Stinger Bees lost all their fighting strength after their abdomens were separated from their chests and heads, no longer posing any threats.

What surprised Zhang Che was that after the Gale Wolf King’s wind blades struck a target, they could still draw an arc in the air and fly towards a second target, though its speed was slower than before.
However, it was only slightly slower. The Stinger Bees, whose forte was not speed, were still unable to dodge them. Another half a dozen Stinger Bees were directly cut in two and fell to the ground.
After only a wave of attack, less than half of the Stinger Bees remained.
After cutting two targets consecutively, the Wind Blades fired by the Gale Wolf King finally dissipated into the air. What was left of the Stinger Bees required Zhang Che to deal with.
The remaining few Stinger Bees obviously realized that the Gale Wolf King wasn’t to be trifled with, either, and turned towards Zhang Che and flew in his direction, wanting to get rid of the easier target.
Alas, these unintelligent insects were unable to accurately determine the strengths of their enemies. Although Zhang Che wasn’t stronger than the Gale Wolf King, he wasn’t someone they could easily mess with, either.
“Great, I can test and see for myself how my swordsmanship is progressing!”
Zhang Che immediately felt relieved when he saw that these Stinger Bees hadn’t seemed to notice Zheng Hongru and the others who were running away. Wielding the Mutated Puffersword in hand, Zhang Che took the initiative and engaged them in battle. It had been some time since he started practicing this style of swordplay. Although he hadn’t put much time into practice and had yet to achieve great proficiency at it, he should be able to handle this handful of Stinger Bees.
At this moment, Zheng Hongru and the rest had stopped in place after running about a hundred meters away, seeing the Stinger Bees weren’t chasing them. They turned back and witnessed a shocking scene.
Zhang Che, wearing his savage armor and wielding a green sword in hand, was like a god of war descended to the mortal realm. The sword in his hand suddenly turned into a green blur, taking on all the Stinger Bees at the same time.

Chi, chi, chi, chi… A few crisp sounds rang. Even Zhang Che didn’t dare to believe what just happened.
Half of the Stinger Bees were directly killed by Zhang Che with the sword, and fell into the grass.
“Eh? I didn’t even know that this sword art was actually this powerful!”
Zhang Che realized for the first time that the sword art his future father-in-law “personally” imparted him actually held such great offensive strength. -It seems like I still have much to learn and understand about this sword art.-
As of now, he couldn’t even be considered an actual disciple of this style!
“Hmm, I should spend more time practicing this sword art if I have the time to spare. The only thing is, I wonder if I can go look for my future father-in-law to clarify any doubts regarding the sword art I might come across in the future..? I hope he won’t beat me to death…”
Zhang Che was in a great mood. His sword turned into a green blur again, and directly cut in the direction of the remaining Stinger Bees.
However, the remaining Stinger Bees were enraged seeing their comrades falling one after another. They raised their sharp, finger-thick pointed tails one after another, emitting a deep blue light, and shot them towards Zhang Che.
Even with Zhang Che’s sword skills, he was unable to defend against the projectile stingers. Not only that, because he was wearing the Swamp Crocodile King armor, his mobility was affected to a certain degree. Under such close proximity, there was no way he could dodge them.
Even so, Zhang Che didn’t intend to dodge them.
A few dull thuds rang out. The poisonous stingers hit Zhang Che’s armor, and were unable to penetrate or even damage his gold-quality armor. They bounced off, falling into the grass below.
Meanwhile, Zhang Che’s sword was already swinging towards these Stinger Bees who had lost their means of attack.
Another few crisp sounds rang out, and the remaining Stinger Bees were cut down.
At this moment, the first batch of Stinger Bees downed by the Gale Wolf King’s Wind Blades finally died. Some of them turned into streaks of light and dissipated, while the others turned into beast cards.
The killing notifications Zhang Che received only stated that he killed the beasts. There were no mentioning of him obtaining even a single point of soul force. “I knew it; after rising to Tier Four, killing these garbage-quality two-star exotic beasts no longer provides any soul force points.”
From the looks of it, advancing to Tier Five would be a long and hard journey!
“Woah, Brother Che is displaying his might!”
Zheng Hongru and the others were a short distance away. It was as if they slew the exotic beasts themselves, as they cried out excitedly.
However, just as they made the noise, the quickly realized where they were at, and every one of them hurriedly covered their mouths.
Alas, it was already too late!
Another wave of buzzing sounds droned from far into the valley ahead after their yelling. A more concentrated spread of Stinger Bees rushed towards them, like a fleet of bomber aircraft.
“God damn it, who told you to make so much noise! Quickly run!” Zhang Che yelled at his teammates. After that, he tightened his grip on the Mutated Puffersword and charged towards the incoming Stinger Bees.
These small flying insects were simply the best targets to practice his swordsmanship on!
