Chapter 465: Ruthless
Li Jun also agreed with Teng Qingshan.
The next morning, at the shores of the Nine Wolf Island:
Teng Qingshan and Li Jun stood by the lake as they gazed at the vast body of water with a size of several dozen Li. Gusts of cold wind blew past, stirring up ripples on the lake.
“The scene here is really very beautiful.” Li Jun held Teng Qingshan’s hands as she said, “Qingshan, when we have kids in the future…we can live here together with Bladelike Chi, Little Blue, White and Black, as well as Little Grey. Life will be very good here.”
Teng Qingshan looked down at Li Jun and a smile crept onto his face.
“Teacher, teacher.” A voice sounded behind them.
Teng Qingshan and Li Jun turned and saw that the person approaching was Teng Qingshan’s third disciple Xue Xin. Xue Xin stared at the lady standing beside Teng Qingshan in astonishment. The lady that stood beside Teng Qingshan donned a light blue cloak. Her smile and expression naturally exhibited an elegant and unique temperament.
Li Jun was now the High Priestess of the Snowy Lotus Cult. As she now held a high position, her temperament had naturally changed a bit.
“Xue Xin, this is my wife,” Teng Qingshan introduced with a smile.
Xue Xin was shocked. This was the first time he had met his teacher’s wife. Naturally, he couldn’t allow himself to act disrespectfully. He hastily knelt and kowtowed. “Xue Xin pays my respect to Madame,” he said. At the same time, he thought to himself, “Madame looks really young. She looks like a Goddess. I have seen so many young noble ladies in Wuan County City, but none of them can compete with Madame… Hmm. Teacher and Madame look great together.”
Li Jun was now an Innate Expert, as well as the High Priestess of the Snowy Lotus Cult.
Thus, her temperament was naturally unique.
“Xue Xin, we have an errand to run, so we need to go somewhere… We will most likely be home by tonight. The island will be in your hands. If you encounter any problems, just look for the Whole Gale Eagle.” Teng Qingshan instructed.
“Yes, Teacher,” Xue Xin replied respectfully.
“Let’s go.” Teng Qingshan turned and looked at Li Jun.
Li Jun nodded. Immediately, she lifted her head and emitted deep-sounding roars.
“Eh? This roar sounds like the roars of the Six Legged Bladelike Chi.” Xue Xin secretly felt shocked as he heard the deep-sounding roars Li Jun had emitted.
It was at this moment, another deep-sounding roar resounded from the deeper areas of the island. The enormous demonic beast ‘Six Legged Bladelike Chi’ streaked across the sky and hovered above Teng Qingshan and Li Jun. As Teng Qingshan and Li Jun both leaped, they rocketed twenty-to-thirty Zhang up and landed on the back of the Six Legged Bladelike Chi.
“Let’s go,” Teng Qingshan said as he grinned.
Li Jun emitted deep-sounding roars, instructing the Six Legged Bladelike Chi to fly southward.
“Roar~~” The Six Legged Bladelike Chi raised its triangular head. Its two pairs of wings fluttered intensely as it ascended rapidly, leaving a gold-colored afterimage.
While they were on their way to the Desolate Land, Teng Qingshan went into the city and bought a gigantic water tank.
……
Whew~~Whew~~~
At the high altitude of several thousand Zhang, above the layer of clouds, the Six Legged Bladelike Chi was flying rapidly.

“The sun is dazzling.” Li Jun said as she smiled and looked eastward.
Although it was morning, the radiance of the sun appeared dazzling. This was because they were looking at the sun from above the layer of clouds.
Teng Qingshan smiled as he glanced at Li Jun. He then turned and gazed southward. The two rode the Six Legged Bladelike Chi and soared above the highest of the heavens. This experience was indeed remarkable.
……
“We have now entered the Desolate Land.” Teng Qingshan looked downward. At this moment, the Six Legged Bladelike Chi had already descended to a lower altitude. It soared amidst the clouds. Through the misty clouds, Teng Qingshan and Li Jun could see the earth below. Looking down from the high altitude, the Desolate Land appeared boundless.
“It’s my first time in the Desolate Land.” Li Jun said with a smile.
“Oh, then you have to pay close attention.” Teng Qingshan teased and laughed.
“Look.” Teng Qingshan pointed southward. “That mountain is the Steeled Arm Monkey Mountain.” The Steeled Arm Monkey Mountain was a great mountain with an altitude of almost two thousand Zhang. The peak of the mountain pierced through the misty clouds. Teng Qingshan and Li Jun could see the pinnacle of the mountain even from afar.
“It’s really lofty.” Li Jun’s eyes beamed.
“The lair of the Steeled Arm Monkeys is located at the waist of the mountain.” Teng Qingshan smiled and said, “The wall of the Steeled Arm Monkey Mountain is too vertical. In the past, I leaped off the waist of the mountain. Fortunately, there was a vine nearby on the mountain wall. With the use of the Reincarnation Spear, I clung onto the vine and exerted some force. If there was no vine, I would’ve either been heavily injured or disabled.”
After that experience, Teng Qingshan understood that jumping off cliffs was also very dangerous.
“Don’t ever do anything that risky again,” Li Jun hastily chided.
“If I didn’t jump, I would have lost my life.” Teng Qingshan grinned. As the two chatted and laughed, the Six Legged Bladelike Chi, who had been flying at an extremely fast speed, arrived beside the Steeled Arm Monkey Mountain.
“The lair of the Steeled Arm Monkeys is located approximately three-to-four-hundred Zhang below.” Teng Qingshan reminded. Li Jun immediately told the Six Legged Bladelike Chi in the language of beasts and the latter darted downward.
Moments later—
“Aaaaa!”
“Ooh~~Oooh~~”
The happy-sounding shrieks sounded continuously. In the lair of the Steeled Arm Monkeys, many Steeled Arm Monkeys, with arms longer than legs and fiery red fur, were playing around.
Some blue eyed Steeled Arm Monkeys were looking around, some Steeled Arm Monkeys were eating wild fruits, and some Steeled Arm Monkeys were playing with the little monkeys.
In the group of monkeys, there were some Steeled Arm Monkeys that looked a size bigger than the rest. There was also a tuft of silver fur on the chest of those enormous Steeled Arm Monkeys.
“OooOooOoo!!!”
Oooh—”
A terrifying and furious roar suddenly resounded throughout the entire lair of the monkeys. Almost all the monkeys looked up at the sky and saw a gigantic and frightening demonic beast hovering above. The demonic beast’s entire body was covered with gold-colored scales and it had six prickly bladelike legs. Moreover, there were a man and woman on the demonic beast!

The Steeled Arm Monkeys could all sense that the demonic beast that had appeared suddenly was not some creature that could be trifled with.
However—
This was their territory. For several dozen years, they had managed to guard their territory through the power of their great population.
“Little Jun, they don’t seem to welcome us at all.” Teng Qingshan smiled as he stared at the cave.
Whoosh!
A monkey whose size was the same as those ordinary Steeled Arm Monkeys emerged. Its entire body was silver and its eyes were gold-colored. At this moment, it was staring at the Six Legged Bladelike Chi and the two people on the back of the Six Legged Bladelike Chi.
“In the past, it was this Monkey King that forced me to leap off the cliff.” Teng Qingshan stood on the back of the Six Legged Bladelike Chi. He stared at the Monkey King, as though he was looking at an old friend.
“Oooo~~”
The Monkey King pounded its chest furiously as it emitted high-pitched shrieks. It seemed to be warning Teng Qingshan and Li Jun. The other Steeled Arm Monkeys were very quiet as they peered at Teng Qingshan and Li Jun.
“Haha…” Teng Qingshan guffawed. He leaped off the back of the Six Legged Bladelike Chi and walked towards the Monkey King.
As he paced amidst the troop of monkeys, he could smell the stinky odor permeating the air. The Steeled Arm Monkeys all stared at Teng Qingshan. None of them dared to attack without the Monkey King’s permission.
“Oooh!” The Monkey King suddenly shrieked loudly. The hair on its entire body stood up.
“I was afraid of you, but now…” Teng Qingshan’s body blurred. The fuzzy-looking figure was still at the same spot when the other fuzzy-looking figure appeared right beside the Monkey King. He then grabbed the Monkey King’s fur with ease and threw the Monkey King up into the air.
As the Monkey King tumbled in mid-air, its gold-colored eyes stared at Teng Qingshan with astonishment.
As it descended onto the ground, the Monkey King stomped the ground.
Whoosh!
The Monkey King transformed into a streak of silvery light as it darted towards Teng Qingshan.
“Too slow.” Teng Qingshan stood at the same spot. As the Monkey King approached, Teng Qingshan dodged the Monkey King’s fierce slash. Simultaneously, he grabbed the Monkey King’s neck again and hurled the Monkey King out into the air. With a loud bang, the Monkey King smashed onto the mountain wall at the side, creating a huge hole.
“Oooh~~” Immediately, the entire troop of monkeys began shouting furiously.
For a moment, over one thousand Steeled Arm Monkeys, including the tall and big Steeled Arm Monkeys, went mad as they charged towards Teng Qingshan.
“Oooo!!!”
The furious and high-pitched shrieks rang out. The furious Steeled Arm Monkeys suddenly stopped and turned to look at the mountain wall. A figure walked out of the huge hole on the mountain wall. It was the Golden Eyed Monkey King. The Golden Eyed Monkey King gazed at Teng Qingshan and emitted several shrieks.
“Big Brother Teng, it has surrendered and hoped that you can forgive the troop of monkeys.” Li Jun leaped down and land beside Teng Qingshan.
“Ask if it’s willing to follow me,” Teng Qingshan replied.
Li Jun turned and began emitting shrieking sounds towards the Golden Eyed Monkey King. “Ooooo~~Oo~~” Apparently, the sounds that the person in front had emitted astounded the great number of Steeled Arm Monkeys. The Golden Eyed Monkey King was shocked as well. It then gesticulated joyfully as it emitted shrieking sounds.
Li Jun began conversing with the Golden Eyed Monkey King.
After a while.
“How’s the talk?” Teng Qingshan stared at Li Jun and asked. Li Jun shook her head and replied with a helpless expression, “The Monkey King is not willing to leave with us. It doesn’t want to leave the troop of monkeys.”
“It won’t leave with us?” Teng Qingshan moved and appeared above the Six Legged Bladelike Chi’s back. He then retrieved the water tank, which he had purchased during the journey here. The water tank was completely black with a length of one Zhang and a height and width of half a Zhang.
He carried the huge water tank and arrived beside Li Jun with just one step.
“Let’s go in,” said Teng Qingshan.
“Eh.” Li Jun responded and followed Teng Qingshan. The two then stepped into the cave beside the mountain wall.
The Golden Eyed Monkey King was originally puzzled, wondering why the two humans were willing to let the monkeys go so easily. When it saw Teng Qingshan and Li Jun walking into the cave, it was greatly alarmed as it shouted, “Oooo!” That was the life of this troop of monkeys. The Golden Eyed Monkey King rapidly dashed into the cave while over one thousand Steeled Arm Monkeys stared at the cave. None of them knew what to do.
The Six Legged Bladelike Chi laid drowsily in the lair of the monkeys. It was surrounded by over a thousand Steeled Arm Monkeys, but it didn’t even care.
……
Since Teng Qingshan had been here before, he naturally knew the way.
“The alcohol smell is so strong.” Li Jun remarked as she walked in the passageway. As she inhaled the alcohol smell, her face flushed red.
“We have arrived.” Teng Qingshan and Li Jun walked into the cavern. On the ground of this gloomy cavern, there was a huge rectangular stone pit filled with light red liquid and a strong smell of alcohol permeated the air.
“Qingshan, the troop of monkeys have only this much wine. Are we being too cruel?” Li Jun shot a glance at the stone pit and then at the huge water tank on Teng Qingshan’s back. The huge water tank was one Zhang in length and half a Zhang in both height and width.
“Ooo!”
The panicky screams sounded. The Golden Eyed Monkey King had already rushed into the cavern. It looked down at the stone pit and then flicked a glance at Teng Qingshan. It hastily carried a stony wine jug and ingratiatingly handed it to Teng Qingshan. “Ooo! Oooo!”
Teng Qingshan smiled and proceeded to carry the huge water tank.
As the Golden Eyed Monkey King saw the huge water tank which Teng Qingshan carried, its eyes turned red. “Ooooo~~” It pleaded. With a pitiful expression, it stared at Teng Qingshan and tried to give the stony wine jug to Teng Qingshan.
