The Nine Cauldrons Chapter 601

The Emptiness Realm Experts, who were watching the fight from afar, gasped.
"The Mani Temple is so powerful. I did not expect to see such an exceptionally powerful cultivator."
"Who is the monk wearing the yellow monastic robes? With just a hit with his palm, he forced Pei San back..."
The Emptiness Realm Experts, including Teng Qingshan, felt an unprecedented astonishment. In everyone's opinion, Pei San, the Sovereign of the Heavenly God Palace, was the unbeatable monster in the Land of the Nine Prefectures.
With his pupils shrunk, Teng Qingshan stared at the two men who were both lying on their own demonic beasts. Shocked by what he had seen, Teng Qingshan thought to himself, "Although Pei San had not used the pair of gloves, his punch is still considered very powerful. I can't believe he lost! That monk, wearing the yellow monastic robes, just knocked him down!"
Teng Qingshan always believed that Pei San was the most powerful human being in the Land of the Nine Prefectures.
However, the scene earlier showed otherwise…
"Haha, refreshing!"
A burst of horrendous laughter sounded in the sky. Pei San, who was wearing the yellow long cloak, stood up on the back of the Godly Thunderbolt Hawk. Streams of light swirled around him. At this moment, he was like a demonic god. He looked over at the monk standing opposite him. The monk had a very calm expression on his face as he stood on the Golden-Winged Roc. Seeing this, Pei San started laughing loudly again before he said, "I cannot believe that someone in the Mani Temple actually managed to master the "Golden Buddha."
"Golden Buddha?"
The Emptiness Realm Experts, who were watching the fight from afar, were confused. The "Golden Buddha" was the godly secret codex of the Mani Temple. It was normal for an Emptiness Realm Expert of the Buddhist Sect to cultivate the "Golden Buddha." Why would Pei San think that it was unusual for the grandmaster of the Buddhist Sect to master the Golden Buddha?
"It seems like Sovereign Pei knows a lot about the Mani Temple." The monk, dressed in the yellow monastic robes, placed his hands together and said with a smile, "I have been contemplating while facing the wall for eighteen years. I was lucky to have gotten the chance to gain enlightenment and master the Golden Buddha. Sovereign Pei, I heard that you are very familiar with even the hidden cultivation techniques of the Mani Temple. I heard that you could even chant the Six-Syllable Sanskrit Mantra and have even achieved great success in this cultivation. May I know how you learned it?"
The monk spoke in a monotone and his voice sounded very calming.
"What's so great about the Buddhist Sect?"
"I have a set of Vajrayana Handprint Rituals. I heard that the Handprint Rituals of the Golden Buddha are extremely powerful as well. I would love to see it with my own eyes." Pei San said in a belligerent tone. The moment he said the last word, his aura completely changed. He emanated the aura of an ancient Buddha statue, appearing stern and lofty.
The monk, dressed in the yellow monastic robes, had a change of expression. Immediately, he did the handprint rituals, which resulted in his entire body radiating a golden glow.
"Take this move—Grand World Destruction Handprints." Pei San said and immediately transformed into this streak of lightning, darting towards the monk. For a moment, the atmosphere felt suffocating.
...
The soldiers and Emptiness Realm Experts of the Heavenly God Palace and the Mani Temple were all fighting against each other. Even though the Emptiness Realm Experts from both sides were fighting, they were still paying attention to Pei San and the monk wearing the yellow monastic robes. Everyone was well aware that both sides had equally strong forces and equally strong Emptiness Realm Experts, which meant that the end of this entire battle was determined by the fight between Pei San and the monk dressed in the yellow monastic robes.

"Pu!""Hah!"
Deep-sounding voices blasted in the sky. The rippling waves of air could be seen continuously. Even the Emptiness Realm Experts did not dare to stay too close to the fight…
Ordinary people would not be able to see the two Insightful Emptiness Realm Experts fighting in the sky. All they could see was a beam of golden light and a beam of grey light clashing together repeatedly...
"They are still testing each other's fighting ability. It is still not a fight of life or death." Teng Qingshan frowned as he watched. Although Pei San and the monk, dressed in the yellow monastic robes, were fighting very intensely in the sky, Teng Qingshan could tell that the two were still testing it out.
The techniques that they used were gradually becoming more and more powerful.
However, Teng Qingshan knew that he would be able to defend against the moves currently performed by Pei San and the monk, which meant that both Pei San and the monk have not revealed their true power.
"Eh?" Suddenly, Teng Qingshan's facial expression changed.
"The real fight has begun." Teng Qingshan said with a smile.
In the sky, a grey-colored light and a golden-colored light could be seen rippling farther and farther away from each other. Then, two figures could be seen in mid-air, hovering opposite each other.
"Sovereign Pei, you showed me so many kinds of handprints and all of your Handprint Rituals are marvelous. They are truly worth my admiration." The monk, wearing the yellow monastic robes, placed his hands together and said with a very calm smile.
"Likewise. It seems like you did not waste your time facing the wall of the Buddha Mountain." As Pei San spoke, his aura gradually changed.
He no longer had the aura of an enlightened monk. His aura gradually became fierce and frightening. Simultaneously, a huge shadow emerged behind Pei San. It was like a hologram. It was the image of a huge godly ape. Although the image was a little bit blurry, everyone could still see the ape's terrifying face and a big mouth.
"Chichi!" As Pei San wore the pair of gloves, rays of light flashed from his hands.
"The Martial Ancestor Shiga of the Mani Temple is powerful, but the younger generations of the Mani Temple are becoming weaker and weaker." Pei San's voice sounded very rough and fierce, like a human-shaped beast speaking the human language. "All you younger generations only know of copying the cultivation techniques created by the predecessors. No one tried to find their own path. I spent a lot of effort to create this 'Dao of Million Beasts. Let me try it on you."
The monk, wearing the yellow monastic robes, placed his palms together and said with a smile, "The cultivation methods passed down by my Martial Ancestor are too profound even for me. I have yet to fully understand his cultivation. Thus, I did not dare to create another form of cultivation. I might only have 10-20% of the power possessed by my Martial Ancestor, but I believe that I am strong enough to fight you."
"You are overestimating your abilities!" Pei San sneered.
"Roar~~" The black godly ape behind Pei San made a loud furious roar. In a flash, Pei San dashed towards the monk, moving like an ape. The pair of gloves he had equipped shone a golden-colored light as he sent forth a powerful blow. Like a meteorite falling from the sky, Pei San's fist flew towards the monk's face.

The monk's face shone a golden-colored glow. As he held up his hand, a symbol of swastika formed on the palm of his right hand.
"Break!!!"
Pei San shouted fiercely and crazily. Savagery could be detected in his bloodshot eyes.
"Tut!"
The monk, wearing the yellow monastic robes, pushed his right hand out very slowly. It was as though he was having difficulty pushing something extremely precious.
The fist, which was enveloped by this swirling grey light, clashed forcefully with the palm that shone a golden light and displayed a swastika symbol.
Not a sound was heard. But immediately after the clash, it felt like the end of the world. The heavens and earth made a high-pitched noise and a shockwave with much greater energy rippled out. The shockwave traveled from the sky to the earth at such a fast speed that there was not enough time for people to escape. Many soldiers were blasted into pieces. The entire earth shook and giant cracks appeared on the ground.
Teng Qingshan stood far away and continued watching calmly. Suddenly, his eyebrows raised skeptically.
"Crack!"
"Bam!"
The two sounds were extremely soft. Amidst the loud explosion sound, the two sounds were almost inaudible. Nevertheless, Teng Qingshan heard it and thought to himself, "Eh? Is that the sound of bones breaking? It sounded twice. Did they both break their bones or did just one person break their bones twice? Or could it be some other noises?"
"Haha."
Pei San laughed horrendously. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. Once again, he ran towards the monk, dressed in the yellow monastic robes. Ordinary people would not be able to see it, but Teng Qingshan clearly saw that Pei San had placed his right hand behind his back. Pei San's right forearm looked twisted; it was apparent that his right arm had been broken and his right hand could no longer move.
"Sovereign Pei, since you want to die, I will send you off." The monk, dressed in the yellow monastic robes, said coldly. His face looked pale. His right palm looked strangely twisted. It was obvious that the monk had suffered a serious injury as well.
At this moment, both of them attacked with their left hand.
"Heh~~"
"Hah!"
"Caw~~"
Pei San made several animal noises while the image behind him changed repeatedly. There were the image of a godly ape, the image of a strange-looking dragon turtle, and the images of other kinds of demonic beasts. Occasionally, his left hand would form the shape of a claw or a clenched fist. Like a mad beast, he continued launching different kinds of attack at the monk wearing the yellow monastic robes.
Pei San even fought with his legs, shoulders, knees, and elbows!
The monk's attacks were crazy as well. However, compared to Pei San, the monk was obviously worse at attacking with his other body parts, such as the elbows, knees, and shoulders.
'Puchi!" Screech!"
The two beams of light tangled together, fighting crazily. Occasionally, a chunk of flesh would fly into the air and blood would splash.
...
Everyone held their breath! Silence filled the air!
All the Emptiness Realm Experts, who were watching the fight, as well as the Emptiness Realm Experts of the Mani Temple and the Heavenly God Palace stopped whatever they were doing. Everyone focused on the fight between the two Insightful Emptiness Realm Experts.
"They are so powerful." Teng Qingshan felt immense pressure as he stared at the two Insightful Emptiness Realm Experts in the sky. Pei San's claw was able to cut through the mountain. His punch was able to shake the earth. Whenever Pei San twirled and kicked, he was like a dragon attacking with its tail. Every move was extremely fierce and deadly!
Every move was as powerful as the attack of a terrifying legendary beast!
Although the monk, wearing the yellow monastic robes, was extremely powerful and was fighting with all his strength, his aura was suppressed by Pei San's terrifying beast aura. Occasionally, the monk would be beaten until he spat blood or a chunk of his flesh would be torn off by Pei San's claw. Naturally, the monk would then try to return the "favor."
"Crack!"
Pei San smashed the monk's chest with his right knee. Even though the monk was wearing the godly armor, his bones still broke, clearly making a cracking sound. "Whew!" At the speed of lightning, Pei San slashed the monk's neck with his knifelike left hand. As the monk screamed, his head was sliced off and thrown into the air.
"Bang!" Before the monk died, he struck Pei San forcefully, causing Pei San to spit blood and fly far away.
"Haha… Liao Yuan, in the end, you still died by my hands.." Pei San's entire body was covered in blood and his clothes were torn apart. With a menacing expression, he glared at the head that was flying away.
Although the monk's head was thrown far away, the monk was still alive. This was because the monk's Niwan Palace still remained intact.
"Who are you! Why do you know my name?" With the use of the Power of the World, the spirit of the monk made his voice audible and everyone could hear his angry and frightening voice.
"Haha, let me tell you. My name is…" Pei San dashed over and whispered the answer in the monk's ear.
"You..you are…" The monk's eyes widened.
Pei San waved his left hand, which was in the form of a claw, and pierced four holes on the monk's head, penetrating the Niwan Palace within the monk's forehead. The moment Pei San destroyed the monk's Niwan Palace, the monk's spirit dispersed and his consciousness vanished. The monk was finally dead. Even if an Insightful Emptiness Realm Expert lost all his life force, he would still be alive as long as the powerful Spirit within his Niwan Palace still existed. His Spirit within the Niwan Palace could sustain him for a very long time.
"Haha…"
Pei San's entire body was covered in blood. As he hovered in mid-air, he held the head in his hand and laughed horrendously. He then immediately pointed at the temple on the mountaintop and shouted, "Raze the Mani Temple! Kill everything! Kill them…" Before Pei San could finish his words, his expression changed and he spat out a mouthful of blood.
