Chapter 319: No More Grudge After a Glass of Wine
Translator: Nyoi-Bo Studio Editor: Nyoi-Bo Studio
“Thank you so much for your support in the past few weeks,” Zhou Wuyi said to Sang Guzi. He still sounded quite weak.
“Don’t worry about it. We’ve known each other for decades. You don’t need to thank me,” Sang Guzi responded as he shook his hand.
“But, I can’t do too much for you. If Wang Yao was here, you would probably have almost recovered,” Sang Guzi said.
“Maybe. I also want to see that young man,” Zhou Wuyi said after stabilizing his breathing.
He really wanted to thank Wang Yao in person. After all, Wang Yao saved his life.
“I heard from Zhou Xiong that Wang Yao opened a clinic,” Zhou Wuyi said.
“Really?” Sang Guzi asked. “Then we should get someone to take a look.”
When they were speaking, Zhou Xiong was giving his son a massage. The basic massage techniques, including pushing, pressing, and touching, were taught by Wang Yao. The treatment outcome was satisfactory. New muscles started to grow in his son’s arm, which was no longer like a branch of a dying tree. The skin on the arm also started to become soft and supple. Zhou Wukang could even start to do some simple movement with his left arm, such as flexing his elbow, lifting his left shoulder, and simple finger movements. In the past, he wouldn’t haven’t dreamed that this would be happening.
“How do you feel?” Zhou Xiong asked.
“I feel good,” Zhou Wukang said with a smile.
Zhou Wukang looked more and more healthy.
“Good. We need to pack up. We are going to Lianshan tomorrow,” Zhou Xiong said.
“To see Uncle Wang?” Zhou Wukang asked.
“Yes,” Zhou Xiong responded.
Zhou Wukang was happy they were going to see Wang Yao. He didn’t know why he felt so close to the young doctor.
Hopefully, Dr. Wang will be able to cure Wukang completely this time.
Zhou Xiong had decided this time he wouldn’t come home before making sure his son was fully recovered. He had returned home this time for two reasons. First, he wanted to visit his uncle. Second, he needed to money for his son’s expensive treatment.
They didn’t have many things to pack up. Zhou Xiong told his father about his trip after he had finished.
“Wait a minute, Dr. Sang is here. He also wants to go to Lianshan to meet Dr. Wang,” his father said.

“He’s also going?” Zhou Xiong asked.
“Yes. I’m arranging two people to go with him, plus you. Please make sure Dr. Sang will be safe on this trip,” his father said.
…
It was raining early in the morning. The weather was a bit weird. After the first day of autumn, the rain came quite frequently.
“Hello, Hu, what brought you here?” Zhao Sen asked with his signature smile.
People familiar with Zhao Sen knew what was behind his smile. It didn’t mean he was a nice person. He would probably stab someone in the back while smiling.
“Someone wants to meet you,” Song Hu said.
“When?” Zhao Sen asked.
“How about today? I’ll book a table,” Song Hu responded. He was a bulky, bald man in his 40s with a mustache.
“How could I trouble you? Well, you tell me where you want to go. Let me book a table to meet your friend,” Zhao Sen said.
“Good, Sen, this is why I like you!” Song Hu said as he hit the table.
Meanwhile, Wang Yao drove to meet Wei Hai, who had arranged someone to confirm the meeting.
Wang Yao was ready to meet Zhao Sen, who seemed to be a gangster. If Zhao Sen turned out to be a threat to Wang Yao, he would get rid of him without hesitation.
“I have asked a friend to arrange a meeting with Zhao Sen. We’ll have lunch together,” Wei Hai said.
While Wang Yao and Wei Hai were talking, Wei Hai’s friend called him.
“It’s from the friend I just mentioned,” Wei Hai said. “Hello… It’s me… No problem.”
“They’ve picked a place,” Wei Hai told Wang Yao after hanging up the phone.
It was a bit passed 10 a.m.
“Is the place far from here?” Wang Yao asked.
“No, it’s very close,” Wei Hai said.
“Let’s go and have a look,” Wang Yao said.
The place was called Hill Ocean Hotel, a well-known hotel in Haiqu. Inside a private room within the hotel sat Zhao Sen and Song Hu. Each of them had two men standing behind them.
“Hu, I just want to ask one question, is he also a gangster?” Zhao Sen asked.
“You will know when you meet him,” Song Hu replied.
The less Song Hu talked about Wang Yao, the more Zhao Sen was worried. Song Hu was not someone he would mess up with. Song Hu was one of the most powerful and famous gangsters in Haiqu. He started his business in logistics a few years ago, so he hadn’t done many illegal things. However, he was still a powerful person compared to Zhao Sen, who was just someone of the younger generation.

I don’t think I had conflict with anyone recently, Zhao Sen thought.
“Never mind. We’ll talk when he arrives,” Zhao Sen said.
Wang Yao and Wei Hai arrived at Hill Ocean Hotel 10 minutes later.
“Are they here?” Wang Yao asked.
“Yes,” Wei Hai said.
He then made a phone call to double check the room number. After hanging up the phone, they went to the second floor of the hotel.
Zhao Sen was talking to Song Hu when Wang Yao and Wei Hai opened the door and entered the room. Zhao Sen didn’t know Wei Hai, but he immediately recognized Wang Yao, whom he had been keeping an eye on.
Shit! It’s Wang Yao.
He had just got his men to cause trouble for Wang Yao. He didn’t expect to see him here. This Wang Yao really knows a lot of people.
“Let me introduce,” Song Hu said. “This is Mr. Wei, the owner of Dongsheng.”
Dongsheng?
Zhao Sen was surprised. As a local Haiqu resident, he had heard about Dongsheng, a company developing quickly in the past few years. The company was specialized in seafood and related products. It had grown quite big and was now one of the biggest companies in Haiqu.
“And, this is Dr. Wang,” Song Hu said.
“Hello, Mr. Wei. Hello, Dr. Wang. My name is Zhao Sen. You can call me Sen,” Zhao Sen said.
The two newcomers to the group shook his hand and cordially greeted him.
But, Wang Yao was here for a reason, and Zhao Sen knew the reason. Wang Yao was here to ask why Zhao Sen had caused trouble for him. This was not going to be a quick lunch.
“You two can leave now,” Song Hu said to his two men.
Zhao Sen also sent away the two young men standing behind him.
There were now only four people left in the room.
“Dishes can be served,” Song Hu said.
The dishes were served quickly. Since Haiqu was located on the coast, the majority of the dishes were seafood. They used blue-and-white porcelain cups for wine.
The four of them started to eat and drink. It was Zhao Sen’s treat, but he seemed to be unsettled.
After a few drink, Zhao Sen had the courage to initiate the conversation.
“Hu, Mr. Wei, and Dr. Wang. Just tell me what I can do for you. I’m at your service,” Zhao Sen said.
“I appreciate you speak frankly,” Song Hu said.
“I just have one thing to ask Mr. Zhao,” Wang Yao replied. “A few days ago, you asked your men to keep an eye on my family. I want to know why.”
So this is it!
Zhao Sen looked down to think about how to answer.
Song Hu was also wondering how Zhao Sen would explain.
Song Hu hadn’t get involved in things like these for years. He made the arrangement because of Wei Hei, who had helped him a few times in the past. He had gotten quite a few business from Wei Hei’s seafood company, so he made quite a lot of money. Therefore, he decided to help Wei Hai for the sake of money.
“Well, a young man from Ji came to me some time ago. He paid me to look for you. I never intended to do any harm to you or your family. I just did what he had asked me to do,” Zhao Sen said.
“He just asked you to find out where I live?” Wang Yao asked.
“Yes. He didn’t asked me to do anything else. By the way, he also asked me to check what you do for a living and if you have done anything illegal,” Zhao Sen said.
Interesting!
Wang Yao smiled. A guy who often did illegal things asked a gangster to check on a decent citizen. It was quite ironic.
“Nothing else?” Wang Yao asked.
“Right. He also asked me to check on your family members,” Zhao Sen said.
“My family members?” Wang Yao frowned.
He looked calm but was actually quite angry thinking, This is ridiculous!
“Mr. Zhao. I don’t care what you have done. I want you to stop!” Wang Yao said sternly.
“Of course,” Zhao Sen replied. This was exactly what he wanted to hear. He wanted to save face. “Not a problem! I promise you I will stop!” He then drank all the wine in the cup.
“Good!” Song Hu said.
Wang Yao had served his purpose for this trip. Zhao Sen just needed to see what He Qisheng had found about Li Shaoyang’s family.
