Chapter 381: One Would Never Feel Lonely Here
Translator: Nyoi-Bo Studio Editor: Nyoi-Bo Studio
“I don’t need to see him further. His legs are apart when he is walking. He is unsteady on his feet. His body stinks, and he is short of breath. Look at his face, so pale! On top of the existing condition, I don’t think I can help him,” said Wang Yao honestly.
“I see. Then I shouldn’t bother you anymore,” said Lu Fan.
“That’s alright,” said Wang Yao.
Lu Fan left with his brother.
“How come I didn’t sense the bad smell?” asked Tong Wei curiously. “I only smell strong perfume.”
“You are right. He tried to cover his body odor with strong perfume. My nose is just a bit sharper than yours,” said Wang Yao.
“Is he seriously ill?” asked Tong Wei.
“Yes, if he doesn’t get treated in time, his condition will get worse, probably cause other diseases,” said Wang Yao.
Lu Boran was truly seriously ill. If Wang Yao treated him now, he would possibly get better. If he didn’t get treated immediately, he would be beyond cure in about a month unless God himself saved him.
“Well, let’s not talk about him anymore. Shall we go out?” suggested Wang Yao.
When he and Tong Wei were about to leave, Tong Wei’s phone rang. She saw a strange number on her phone. It was Wu Yaoran calling. Wu Yaoran sounded really upset on the phone.
“It’s Wu Yaoran,” said Tong Wei softly. “He said he wants to see you and apologize to you. He said he would never dare to do any harm to you.”
“Really? He changes his mind so fast,” said Wang Yao with a smile.
“Are you going to see him?” asked Wang Yao.
“No rush. I’ll leave him to think over what he had done,” said Wang Yao.
On the other end of the phone, Wu Yaoran was in tears because of pain. His shoulder was in excruciating agony. He wanted to scream.
After Tong Wei hung up the phone, Wang Yao took her out for a walk. They went to some well-known places in Beijing and forgot all about Wu Yaoran.
Wu Yaoran couldn’t do anything about it. He had to ask his friend to seek out a good Chinese Traditional Medical Practitioner.
The practitioner was shocked after seeing Wu Yaoran. However, he was highly skilled and used acupuncture to reduce the pain in Wu Yaoran’s shoulder, although the relief was limited.
Wu Yaoran had been worried the whole afternoon and scared that his condition would get worse. Eventually, Tong Wei called him in the late afternoon and gave him an address for the meeting. Wu Yaoran called a taxi right away.

“Mr. Wang, I’m so sorry!” Wu Yaoran apologized as soon as he saw Wang Yao.
“So you’ve figured out what you’ve done wrong?” said Wang Yao.
“Yes, I will never bother you and Tong Wei in the future. I swear!” He held one hand up.
“Good, it’s never too late to mend relationships, as well as wounds. Let me take a look at your shoulder,” said Wang Yao.
“Oh, great!” said Wu Yaoran.
At the moment his shoulder was swelling badly, it started to turn purple from red.
“It may hurt,” said Wang Yao.
“That’s fine, I can tolerate it,” said Wu Yaoran.
“Good,” said Wang Yao.
He hit Wu Yaoran’s shoulder with his palm. It really aggravated Wu Yaoran’s pain.
Wu Yaoran couldn’t help but scream. He was in tears, and he had a runny nose at the same time. His body was shaking.
“How can it be so painful?!” He wished he could pass out at that moment.
The agony didn’t last for too long, but for Wu Yaoran it seemed to last forever, as if the pain had gone on for years. Wang Yao gave Wu Yaoran a massage treatment which lasted for several minutes. His swelling shoulder soon became much better.
“I think you should be fine now,” said Wang Yao.
Wu Yaoran threw himself on the floor heavily. He was drenched by sweat due to the pain.
He was in such agony; he didn’t even have the strength to stand up.
“Sir, do you need any help?” This was the fifth time the staff of the club came to ask, because Wu Yaoran’s screams were too loud. It affected other clients.
“No…nothing!” said Wu Yaoran weakly.
“You can call me anytime if you need me,” said the staff in confusion as she saw Wu Yaoran, who laid on the floor like a sick dog.
“Those rich people have so many ideas, what was it? SM?” murmured the staff.
Wu Yaoran walked out of the club holding onto the wall. His legs were shaking while walking. He would never forget this experience. He was now so scared of Wang Yao, so he decided to give up Tong Wei, and to leave her alone.
He loved beautiful women, but he loved his life more.
Given his social background, he could date almost any woman. Why should he risk his life for one single woman? Today, Wu Yaoran decided to give up Tong Wei completely.
“I don’t think Mr. Wu will bother you anymore,” said Wang Yao with a smile.

“You scared the hell out of him,” said Tong Wei.
“That was the only way to get him to leave you alone,” said Wang Yao.
He and Tong Wei didn’t return to the cottage for dinner. They went to have a candle-lit dinner in a restaurant. When they had gone back to the cottage, they found a visitor waiting for them in the living room.
It was an elderly gentleman in his 60’s. He was thin but in good spirits.
“Hello, you are Dr. Wang?” asked the old man.
“Yes, and you are?” said Wang Yao.
“I’m here to see you,” said the old man.
Wang Yao had a close look at him.
“You don’t seem to be ill,” said Wang Yao.
“I’m not ill, but my wife is,” said the old man.
“I see. Can I ask you a question first? Who told you I’m here?” asked Wang Yao.
“I just heard it from someone randomly,” said the old man after hesitating for a moment.
“Randomly?” asked Wang Yao.
“Yes,” said the old man.
He was telling the truth, and he had actually followed someone to the cottage.
“So who did you hear of me from?” asked Wang Yao.
“Well…” The old man hesitated. “I hope you won’t be angry with that person if I tell you.”
“No, just tell me,” said Wang Yao.
“Okay. I heard of you from Chen Boyuan’s father-in-law,” said the old man.
“Him?” said Wang Yao with surprise.
Then the old man explained the whole thing to Wang Yao. This old man lived in the same complex as Chen Boyuan’s father-in-law. They actually lived in the same building and was friendly to each other. A while ago this old man found that Chen Boyuan’s father-in-law no longer sat in the wheelchair and was able to walk with crutches. He was very surprised. Therefore he asked Chen Boyuan’s father-in-law which doctor he had seen. The old man’s wife had been unable to move for over a year.
However, Chen Boyuan’s father-in-law wouldn’t tell him how he got better. The old man was very upset; then he had an idea. He started keeping an eye on Chen Boyuan’s father-in-law. He would deliberately stand around Chen Boyuan’s father-in-law, and one day, he heard the conversation between Chen Boyuan’s father-in-law and his daughter. They mentioned Wang Yao. The old man was so thrilled. Wang Yao recalled that Chen Boyuan’s father-in-law visited him twice. He didn’t expect the old man to have followed Chen Boyuan’s father-in-law in one occasion. However, the old man lost Chen Boyuan’s father-in-law on the way. Luckily, he eventually found the cottage.
This was pure luck!
This was all that Wang Yao could think of after the old man had told him how he found Wang Yao.
What a coincidence!
It was the old man’s destiny to hear about and find Wang Yao.
What was more important was that Wang Yao had a mission of getting his name out in one thousand miles.
“I see, I can take a look at your wife at your unit. However, I can’t see her now. Tell me your address, I’ll visit you tomorrow,” said Wang Yao.
“Okay, thank you,” said the old man. He left his address and contact details to Wang Yao.
“Take care, see you tomorrow.” Wang Yao walked with him out of the courtyard.
“Thank you, bye,” said the old man.
“Sorry, I won’t be able to spend a lot of time with you.” Wang Yao had planned to take Tong Wei to the shops in Beijing.
“That’s fine,” said Tong Wei with a smile.
She could tell the old man had a strong attachment to his wife. It made her think about whether Wang Yao would still be with her and love her when they got old.
It made her think suddenly about their future.
It was quite cool in the autumn evening.
Wang Yao continued to sit in the courtyard alone to watch the sky. The sky looked blurry today.
“What are you doing here?” Tong Wei came out with a jacket on her.
“I’m looking at the sky.” Wang Yao pointed at the sky.
“What’s in the sky? It just looks grey,” said Tong Wei.
“The sky is actually quite interesting,” said Wang Yao with a smile.
Tong Wei couldn’t see what he saw in the sky. At the same time, he also tried to communicate with the spirits in the courtyard.
It was very quiet in the courtyard.
Whooh! It started to become windy. Tong Wei shook slightly.
Stop!
Wang Yao lifted his left hand, the wind stopped.
“Good thing the wind stopped!” said Tong Wei.
She smiled, but she found the leaves in the courtyard were still moving, which meant the wind hadn’t gone, she just couldn’t feel it.
