My World Traveling System: The Harbinger Of Death Chapter 239

Shadowy figures emerged within the darkness of the night, lurking atop the buildings surrounding the new property of the family of strong Magus that have moved to the capital today.
The figures jumped over the buildings stealthily, using special types of Dark Attribute Spells to merge with the shadows a bit, while using special magic accessories and artifacts to mask their presence and camouflage themselves within the darkness.
Although these people were doing something that would be seen by the common folk as outrageous and illegal, this was just another activity in the daily life of these people.
Since they were born that they had been trained to become loyal servants and spies for the aristocrats and criminal organizations of this country, born to serve as incredibly cautiously as possible, to find the hidden secrets of the enemies of their masters…
Since long ago that countries in Terra had implemented such groups of special spies and assassins, each big figure kept secrets that could reveal great things, and both sides were dying to learn about the other to find weak points, abuse them, and then destroy their enemies and assimilate their properties and more.
Today, a certain group of strong Magus with powerful auras had come to the capital, and many of the heads of the aristocratic families and criminal organizations immediately saw them as a threat.
After all, they governed both the surface and the underworld of this immense capital, seeing that new people with strong magic auras were to come out of nowhere could threaten their positions with their strength and different beliefs, and they wanted to check on them, only check for now…
They wanted to know if such people had bad or good intentions if they were negotiable or were too righteous with their beliefs.
They wanted to know their real intentions, if they came here momentarily it would not be much of an issue, but seeing how they immediately purchased a manor meant that they had a large amount of money to spare and that they were most likely planning to stay for way longer…

If these people were to be reachable through some kind of means such as negotiations, selling and buying of products, or more, it would be beneficial for them, and such organizations were even willing to fight for such strong clients and potential allies.
As of now, they did not intend to harm any of such people (mostly because they really could not with what they sent), but they were confident with the magic accessories and the spells that their subordinates were equipped with that they would at least be able to infiltrate inside the manor and take a peek about what they did and what were their intentions.
After all, many of the accessories and artifacts equipped by these people were magic items made by Rank 4 and above Magus, enhanced with enormously powerful runes made after many weeks of concentration and preparation, perhaps even years, such items of high quality could even fool the perception of Rank 4 Magus…
Confident about their equipment and the many preparations they had made, the shadowy figures slowly reached their destination, the Manor where these Magus had entered.
Although some of the people within this group were quite known, such as Vheslia, the rest of the people were completely new to the capital, or perhaps people that have not come here in years.
Some of the spies were also sent towards Gabriel's residence to seek clues, but the majority was sent here.
However, these people were completely unaware that different shadowy figures were already tailing them from behind… figures that not even them, experts on stealth and information gathering could even detect…
Such figures melded with the actual shadows for real, simply moving into a different space each time they entered within the shadows, completely in a different level than the measly camouflage of these spies.
One of such figures, a tall, and pale, white-skinned elven undead woman glanced at the figures with her glowing crimson red eyes.

"I really would like to exterminate these pests immediately, but my lord has requested me to let them infiltrate inside of Yurei… Perhaps he intended to capture them and interrogate them? But why? Wouldn't it be better to interrogate their souls which would instantly obey him? …No, I don't have to question my lord, he knows better than me, his servant," she thought, only following the shadowy figures with her squadron but never taking any other action, as her master, Frank, intended these people to infiltrate inside of Yurei and catch them alive.
Flash! Flash! Flash!
The shadowy figures finally reached the territory of the manor, seeing as the lights were already turned off and no presences could be sensed, the only thing that they could hear were the crickets soothingly signing in this night, which was blessed by the moonlight, which they had to stealthily evade to not reveal their presences, even if they thought no one was watching them…
The figures surrounded the manor and quickly found one of the windows seemingly half-open, slowly opening and then getting inside one by one.
They stealthily moved around the corridors, inspecting if there were any papers, books, or anything left behind that could give them any clue of what these people truly were.
"Nothing here… well, they just came today to the capital," thought one of the spies, moving around.
As he moved through the manor, he began to find that there was not anything much he could find and had begun to consider abandoning the mission for the time being, even with their advanced stealth accessories, it was still risky to stay here for too long.
"It would be better to come back in another date," he said, glancing back at his subordinates.
But… there was no one.
"Eh?"
He did not even… felt it, but they all disappeared in the blink of an eye.
He felt taken aback.
Suddenly, fear took hold of his heart, as a chill ran through his spine.
He felt something behind him… an eerie and cold presence.
The man slowly glanced behind him, as he found the figure of a translucent woman…
"W-What…?"
"Welcome! My master is eager to meet you," she said, extending her aura over the man wearing dark clothes, encompassing his entire body with the phantasmal aura.
Flash!
"Nnnaaghh!"
Suddenly the man was dragged through the manor, thrown into a different room!
Boom!
Falling headfirst into the cold and hard floor, he found himself in a different place… a completely sealed room.
And in front of the man, Frank was standing right there.
"You should be the last one… Alright, time to disarm you," said Frank, extending hundreds of magic threads out of his hands, and capturing the man within seconds!
"Agh! You won't catch me alive!" roared the man, as he was easily suppressed, but Frank suddenly felt something within his chest glowing!
"Just as I thought, another one with a bomb stuck to their Mana Cores… You guys are really dedicated, I give you that," said Frank, suddenly transforming his hand into a complete black phantom and putting it inside of the man's chest!
"Eh?!"
The man felt Frank's cold phantasmagoric hand grasp the bomb stuck to his mana core and then quickly save it inside of his Inventory.
"What kind of… magic is that?!" asked the man, feeling overwhelmed.
"Ah, you don't need to know," said Frank, extending his hand towards the man's head.

Aurelia Online
"Welcome to the Universe of Aurelia!" These were the words spoken by Zenid Corp when they released info about their new VRMMORPG. They said it would be groundbreaking, mind boggling, and view changing. They said you would see AI in a whole new light. Will these words prove true?Or will Zenid's promise fall flat?.......Who knows. This isn't a story about them it's a story about a laidback, quirky, slightly perverted young man named Derrick Ashport aka Nortaz.Join him as he adventures through space, learns mystery psionics, and tries to build up one of the most deadly and rotten (quite literally) harems ever heard of in a game all while subconsciously trying to avoid his childhood friend!(Cover picture is placeholder. The number and gray thing irritated me)____________________________________________________________________________This is my first story and as such it WILL more than likely lack in most places. I'm more than willing for all criticism and suggestions for how it will go and names for places, people, and items. Also don't worry this isn't some harem focused story story wise though the MC does try to go for it but not until later. And yes he will notice a harem is forming.

Unique Fusion Magic Hex
World Essence. The mysterious energy coursing throughout the entire land of Vor'ten, and very possibly the entire world. This energy has allowed humanity to flourish, building great empires and vast kingdoms, conquering nature itself with just a sweep of their hand. Humans were the strongest existence, and with the help of channeling this World Essence, many were able to turn into Magic Knights, gaining magical abilities to combat the various fierce beasts throughout the lands.Alas... those glory days of old were long gone. Humanity has now been pushed to the brink of destruction, and now the remaining members of the human race are encased within giant domes known as 'Alkkras', made with the last remaining bits of the World Essence. It was said that those giant domes were the last gifts left by the remnants of the ancient human race, as a means to protect the future generation from the attacks of the many wild beasts roaming outside. Five Spiritualist Invokers, all combined together, used the last bit of the World Essence and sacrificed their lives to lay a gigantic, 1028-seal formation magic array to form these barriers, forever saving humanity, but also trapping humanity within these barriers. However, the humans were never completely helpless. No matter how little World Essence was left, the humans still had some remaining. Realizing the incoming crisis, the humans found a way to seal World Essence inside a special type of crystal. Soon, these crystals began to become implanted into weapons, turning them into World Essence Weapons, and they began to display properties of their own. Extreme heat. Bone chilling cold. Absurd sharpness. These normal weapons, after being imbued with the energy of the World Essence Crystals, began to form natural affinities to elements. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Darkness. Light. Using these weapons, one could become a Chevalier that wielded the power of the elements. However, if one wanted to reach a higher level of enlightenment and understanding, one could become an Invoker. Via the study of magic array formations, one could directly use the power of the World Essence to cast devastating magics upon the enemy. These people were Invokers, highly valued for their combat potential by the Army. These weapons and magical arrays were used in the great fight between the humans and the beasts long ago. They had long since been put away in storage, almost long forgotten...However, after ten-thousand years of suppression, the human race is beginning its counterattack against the Beasts... Synth was an Invoker in the Magecroft Academy. However, his talent was terrible, being only at the Spark Stage. This led to him being looked down upon and bullied. He was unable to cast any Calamity-rank or even Destruction rank spells, and was only able to cast Coalescing rank spells at the age of 17, a record low in the academy for cultivating these rare Invokers. Even though he put in more effort than anyone else, he was still unable to advance his Channeling Energy. But due to his constant research and study, Synth ended up creating a power that would go against the heavens - he had found how to Fuse spells together. After trying it out once, merging the magical array for the Small Fireball and the Mortal Judgement skills, he was able to create a mid-rank Destruction tier spell, Holy Judgement Flame. However, after this, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to fuse more spells together or even cast them, and noticed a weird, pentagram shaped formation on his left arm. He would later call this mark the Fusion Magic Hex, a curse that prevented the wielder from casting magic that wasn't their own...This meant that with the exception of Synth's newly created skill, , he was going to have to create unique magic arrays if he ever wanted to step on the path of becoming an Invoker! This power that destroyed the laws of the Invoking System, and his unyielding persistence in testing and creating new spells, would later gain Synth the nickname the Unique Fusion Hex, and lead him to become one of the strongest beings in the entire World!
