The bad sound insulation in the hotel rooms coupled with the fact that her room was next to Qi Chengzhi's room allowed her to hear Guan Xiaolin's voice clearly.

Guan Xiaolin's room was upstairs and she made her way down purposefully and rang Qi Chengzhi's doorbell. Song Yu refused to speculate whether her real intention was to discuss the design proposal or if she had something else in mind.

However, Guan Xiaolin's intention was obvious.

Song Yu leaned on the door. Her chest was stuffy and she did not know what Qi Chengzhi planned to do.

Qi Chengzhi looked at Guan Xiaolin who was wearing a tight black dress with thin straps. She was showing off her fair shoulders and chest. Her cleavage was in clear sight as well. The hem of her dress rested slightly below her butt, revealing her fair and long legs.

Guan Xiaolin blushed as Qi Chengzhi gave her a once-over. The pinkish tint on her face and shoulder made her extremely seductive.

She lowered her head as though she was too shy to look at Qi Chengzhi. Due to that, she did not notice the calmness in Qi Chengzhi's gaze.

"Are you here to talk about design, or are you here to talk about production?" Qi Chengzhi asked coldly with his hands in his pockets.

Guan Xiaolin was stunned. It took her a while to understand what Qi Chengzhi was referring to when he said 'production'. Her blush deepened immediately.

The quiet and classy man greeted Guan Xiaolin with dirty jokes. Guan Xiaolin felt her body heating up and she almost collapsed weakly against the door frame. Her heart was beating fast.

Qi Chengzhi's intense gaze gave her butterflies in her chest.

She did not expect Qi Chengzhi to be so direct. She wondered if the same thing happened to Song Yu last night.

"Young Master Cheng…" Guan Xiaolin's face was blushing as she murmured his name seductively. She peeked at Qi Chengzhi before averting her gaze again. "If Young Master Cheng feels like it, then…"

"One second," Qi Chengzhi said coldly before turning around and returning to his room.

Guan Xiaolin trailed after him. After taking two steps forward, Qi Chengzhi turned around and said icily, "I told you to wait outside, you're not coming in."

Guan Xiaolin froze immediately. She was unsure about what she should do.

"Haha, Young Master Cheng…" She tried to mask her embarrassment with laughter. However, Qi Chengzhi's icy gaze stopped her from trying to sneak in.

"Wait outside."

Guan Xiaolin stopped laughing altogether. She bit on her lips and retreated in embarrassment. She stood by the door as she observed the invisible boundary that she dared not cross.

Qi Chengzhi reached for his phone on the table and took a seat directly opposite of the door. He was a few meters away from Guan Xiaolin.

There was quite some distance between them but he refused to let Guan Xiaolin in. Qi Chengzhi looked at Guan Xiaolin coldly from where he sat.

That was the moment when Guan Xiaolin realized that she had been humiliated by him.
