The problem was the restaurants around here were not very nice and clean. Qi Chengzhi had the attitude of a high-born, he'd rather starve himself than to simply find a restaurant to fill his stomach.

Song Yu ate for another twenty minutes before putting down her chopsticks. "I'm full."

Yu Qianying cocked a brow. "You have only eaten so little. Are you really full?"

"Mm. I don't have any appetite recently," Song Yu explained. More importantly, she was still concerned about Qi Chengzhi.

Yu Qianying could clearly see that Song Yu was restless instead of actually being full. She pursed her lips, realizing that after the marriage, Song Yu's heart was filled completely with Qi Chengzhi instead of her own parents.

Audibly slamming the chopsticks onto the table, Yu Qianying got up and left.

"Mom." Song Yu chased after intending to explain everything, but Yu Qianying went into the kitchen and scooped some slow-cooked fish soup into a thermos.

Yu Qianying then took out some containers from the cupboard. She turned around, walked to the kitchen entrance and gave Song Yu a glare. Song Yu made way immediately. Yu Qianying promptly brought the containers out. From every dish she cooked, she took half-portions and placed them into the containers.

The thermos and containers were placed into a plastic bag then handed over to Song Yu. "Go home if you're so restless."

Song Yu took the plastic bag hesitantly, as she was afraid that Yu Qianying was angry.

Yu Qianying's lips twitched. "If you're not willing to go back, then you can stay here."

Song Donglin smiled, then stood up from the dinner table and walked over. "Go home."

It was then that Song Yu felt slightly more relieved. "I'll go home then, will be back on Monday."

"You're in no condition to be coming and going like that." Yu Qianying's words were cutting but her heart was still soft. "Rest well at home."

Song Yu smiled. Her parents followed her to the doorstep, but because Yu Qianying could not bring herself to say much, she stood behind Song Donglin, unlike previous occasions.

Song Yu walked to the door and turned around, saying, "Dad, Mom, hurry up and continue having your lunch."

"We'll see you out," Song Donglin said as Yu Qianying kept mum.

Upon opening the door, Song Yu was stumped, so was Song Donglin.

Song Donglin was blocking Yu Qianying's view, so the latter had no idea what was happening even though she noticed that Song Yu stood frozen there. She went up and looked across Song Yu's shoulders, catching Qi Chengzhi sitting down on the stairs just outside.

He was holding his phone and surfing the web. Sitting there quietly—no one knew what he was busy looking at.

Since it was a day off, he was dressed very casually. Clad in a long-sleeve T-shirt and some lounge pants, his sleeves were pulled up to his elbows, revealing his muscular arms. He looked relaxed and sexy.

Song Yu looked at him and felt heartbroken. He sat there looking all sullen as if he was a little kid that had been chased out by his own family.

He sat there and waited quietly for a long time. Song Yu knew that he would not listen to her advice and head home.

In that respect, he was very resolute.

Hearing the ruckus, Qi Chengzhi turned around and saw the three of them staring at him in shock. He calmly put away his phone, stood up, then walked to the door and greeted, "Dad, Mom."

Song Donglin's reaction was not as extreme as Yu Qianying but he still felt uncomfortable to hear Qi Chengzhi address him like that. Yu Qianying pursed her lips and ignored him in her anger.

"Why did you come out so quickly?" Qi Chengzhi looked at Song Yu.

"Well, if it isn't because of someone pretending to be so miserable outside." Yu Qianying could not help but take a swipe at him.

Song Donglin poked Yu Qianying lightly, prompting the unhappy Yu Qianying to respond, "What are you poking at me for? How do you think the neighbors would react if he sat out here like that?"

Qi Chengzhi kept quiet. Song Yu looked at him with a heavy heart and said, "I'm full. I knew you didn't listen to me when I saw your car outside."

"I wasn't trying to rush you," Qi Chengzhi replied earnestly.

"I know. You're worried that something might happen." Song Yu held his hand and used her thumb to caress the back of his fingers. His fingertips were dry and rough but the back of his fingers was smooth and silky. The segments of every digit were distinctly good-looking.

Song Yu smiled and raised the plastic bag in her hands. "Mom knew you haven't eaten yet, so she packed up some lunch for me to bring home for you to eat."

"I was worried that you didn't eat well. It's not for him. You ate for just twenty minutes because you were fidgeting. It's surprising that you even ate enough," Yu Qianying explained uneasily.

Qi Chengzhi smiled before turning to Yu Qianying and Song Donglin. In his rich voice, he said, "We'll be going then."

Song Yu said goodbye to her parents and allowed Qi Chengzhi to help her down.

Song Donglin and Yu Qianying waited at the door until the two of them disappeared from view. It was then that they closed the door and went back into the house.

Yu Qianying sat at the dinner table and was about to continue her meal. Song Donglin, however, went to the balcony and looked down from the window.

She walked over and joined him. "What are you looking at?"

Song Donglin kept quiet. Yu Qianying gazed down with him. After some time, Song Yu and Qi Chengzhi appeared.

Qi Chengzhi was holding Song Yu's hand with the utmost delicateness, doting on her and protecting her. Song Yu looked at him and said something, causing him to lower his gaze and look at her.

His expression could not be seen clearly from above but Song Donglin and Yu Qianying felt that Qi Chengzhi was probably smiling at that time.

It was always an unforgettable sight to see Qi Chengzhi smiling so lovingly at Song Yu.

A few moments later, Song Donglin began speaking. "Look at how much Qi Chengzhi loves Song Yu. As long as he can treat her well and love her forever, nothing else is more important, really. I went through so much trouble in the past simply so my daughter can live a worry-free life. It's enough for me if Qi Chengzhi can do that on my behalf."

After completing his sentence, Song Donglin went back to the table without a word and continued with lunch.

Yu Qianying continued looking down. Qi Chengzhi was helping Song Yu up the car and soon enough, the Range Rover began driving off slowly.

She, too, went back to the table and began eating in silence.

Song Yu placed the food at the rear seat and held Qi Chengzhi's hand instinctively. She leaned on his shoulder and said, "Don't always wait secretly for me without saying anything. If you insist on doing so, at least let me know so I can be quick."

"It's fine." Qi Chengzhi interlaced his fingers with hers and brought her hand to his lips so he could kiss it.

"It's not fine. If I knew you're waiting outside without even eating, I'll be heartbroken." Song Yu pulled her hand down and forbade him from continuing to kiss it. "Drive properly."

Qi Chengzhi stopped the car suddenly at the roadside, then went over and carried her over to his lap.

"You were supposed to be driving properly. What's gotten into you all of a sudden?" Song Yu felt distressed. They were not even out of the neighborhood yet and although not many people passed by, there was always a possibility that someone would spot them.

Qi Chengzhi did not respond but instead gave her a fierce kiss on the lips. He then said huskily, "I just wanted to kiss you."

"Who in the world stops the car they are driving just to kiss someone?" Song Yu was blushing intensely. She lowered her head and was too embarrassed to look at him. Her forehead was placed on his shoulder and he patted his chest with a force that was neither too strong nor too light.

Qi Chengzhi particularly enjoyed it when she was at her shiest moment. It was not unnatural at all. Just like a little house pet, her meekness and obedience spurred him to love and pamper her dearly.

As he tilted his head down, his lips were pressed on the corners of her eyes. Her skin around that area was particularly silky and smooth as if there were no creases there. It was just too silky smooth when he placed his lips there. He could not help but rub the area repeatedly, saying, "Who told you to say all those touching words when my guard is down?"

Song Yu blushed and grumbled, "It's not like I did it on purpose."

Qi Chengzhi smiled. "I know it's not on purpose. That's why I wanna kiss you."

His warm palms held her firmly by her waist. Her belly and waist were very soft and Qi Chengzhi's hand went to-and-fro as they caressed those areas. Not a second later, his hand ventured into her top and caressed her stomach.

Song Yu retracted her stomach and her heart was beating wildly due to the warmth from his hands.

"Look up." Qi Chengzhi's voice resounded from above her head.

Song Yu's face was insanely red and she felt very embarrassed. Her forehead remained pressed onto his shoulder and she did not look up at him.

"Be a good girl," Qi Chengzhi persuaded her, with his voice resonating beside her ear. His thin lips were touching her ear as well, making her feel hot and bothered. "Let me kiss you."

Song Yu's scalp was getting numb. His warm voice was particularly effective in dismantling her. Once she heard it, virtually all of her strength disappeared Coupled with his last few words, Song Yu's entire body turned weak.

He was still rubbing her ears unrestrainedly, coercing her without needing to say a word. His thin lips slid from her auricle to the edges of her ear, then finally to her earlobe.

Song Yu trembled with passion. Slowly but obediently she lifted her head, paving way for Qi Chengzhi to kiss her.

His kisses were especially gentle and tender and for brief moments he would suck on her lips. Along with that, he began venturing deeper into her mouth and it was then that he increased his intensity gradually. In the end, he hugged her with both arms, placing one palm on her back and the other on her waist. He exerted a bit of force in order to knead her and lock her inside his embrace.

Unable to contain her own emotions, Song Yu wrapped herself around his neck and instinctively went closer to him. She felt hot as a result of his kisses. As her tongue was entwined with his, her oral cavity was filled with his strong taste.

Qi Chengzhi let go of her only after quite some time. He lowered his head, allowing his forehead and nose to come into contact with hers. Soon, their breathing melded into one.

Seeing her scarlet mien and knowing that it was because of his kiss, he could not resist giving her lips a few gentle pecks. His scorching hot lips landed once more on hers, kissing her deeply. He took a deep breath, inhaling the fragrance emanating from her face.

When Qi Chengzhi finally let go of her, Song Yu's entire face was already stark red.

Qi Chengzhi cupped her blushing face tenderly. Deep in his heart, he felt an indescribable feeling of emotion and love toward her.

He was actually very grateful to have her, that she could stand by his side from the very beginning. She knew that he was the one who caused her family to go bankrupt but she still continued to love him unhesitatingly. She was that resolute and not once did she ever hate him. Such forgiveness, such magnanimity, and such love made Qi Chengzhi wonder how best to love her properly.

Seeing that beautiful face right before his eyes made him feel glad that he was able to meet Song Yu in his life and lucky enough to fall in love with such a woman.

Song Yu's hands trembled slightly as they were placed on his chest. She told him softly, "Let's go home."

A burst of fire appeared in Qi Chengzhi's eyes. He pulled her forcefully into his embrace and said in his rich, husky voice, "You want it?"

"I want you to go home and eat." Song Yu's face was so red that it was on the verge of going up in smoke. Her scalp was feeling very numb as well.

Qi Chengzhi smiled slightly and lowered his head to kiss her. As he was doing so, he spoke and unleashed his breath onto her lips. "But I want it."

"…" Song Yu felt her brain explode. She buried her face into his embrace and said softly, "We'll still have to go back."

Qi Chengzhi remained motionless for a while later. Song Yu urged him, "Come on!"

Qi Chengzhi looked at her head half-smilingly. "How do you expect me to drive when you're hugging me like this?"

Song Yu was speechless.

Still red-faced, she loosened away from him shyly and sat on his lap. She looked down and said, "Carry me back to my seat."

Looking at her, Qi Chengzhi could not resist touching her, kissing her, and teasing her. It felt arduous to continue driving when she was that close to him.

He gave her a peck on the lips. A hint of playfulness was present in his rich voice as he said, "Are we doing it first or are we eating first when we get home?"

"…" Song Yu's face was as red as a red light bulb. She poked his chest and said embarrassedly, "There's no way I can interact properly with you if you keep acting like this."

Qi Chengzhi smiled, kissed her again, and finally placed her back on the passenger seat. He then continued the drive back to Viewpark Residence.

When they reached home, Song Yu reheated the fish soup as well as the veggies. Song Yu found the smell of the fish soup slightly fishy and was feeling uncomfortable with the smell. However, Yu Qianying boiled it specifically for Song Yu to nourish her body. Song Yu could not bring herself to waste it, not when Yu Qianying was able to forgive her for what happened. Song Yu was too grateful for everything and when it came to her mother's love, she wanted to accept it wholeheartedly.

A normal person would actually find the fish soup tasting fresh instead of fishy. It was just that her sense of smell was more sensitive than usual. Although her appetite was not as weak as before, there were still a few flavors that she found completely unappealing.

Song Yu scooped out the fish soup and recalled how she particularly liked drinking her mother's fish soup before the pregnancy. Enduring the fishiness, she took a sip and found the taste much more unpalatable than the smell but not to the extent that she could not take it at all. The soup was good for her body and had no ill effects on her. To drown out the fishiness, she ate a few pieces of sweet and sour pork cooked with pineapple.

She liked eating those sweet and sour things as of late.

After two more spoons of soup though, she could not take it anymore. All of a sudden, she placed her spoon down and made a run for the bathroom.

Qi Chengzhi's face did not look too pleased. He ran after her and saw her throwing up into the toilet bowl, expelling everything that she had eaten moments earlier.

"How is it?" Qi Chengzhi crouched beside and patted Song Yu gently on the back. He also made sure to lift up her hair and place it well behind her ear, after which he realized, it was best to lift up all her hair so it would not come in contact with the toilet.

Song Yu was almost done with her vomiting but she still felt uncomfortable. Pushing him, she said, "Don't stay here. I'm making a mess with this vomit and it smells bad."

"Just do your thing. Don't mind me," Qi Chengzhi said plainly.

Song Yu was feeling very uncomfortable. Her face was pale. Although she may be embarrassed, she was not showing any of it. She lowered her head and was about to vomit but with an empty stomach, her dry retches were very uncomfortable.

"Do you want to go to the hospital?" Qi Chengzhi felt heartache to see her vomiting like that. It was much more sufferable than vomiting himself.

"I can't take it when I smell that fishy smell. My appetite is almost back to normal but I still can't smell stuff like seafood." Song Yu inhaled. Her nasal passage was feeling uncomfortable because of the sudden vomiting.

Qi Chengzhi took a tissue and gave it to Song Yu so she could wipe her mouth. He then ran to the kitchen and fetched her a glass of water. After a few sips of water, Song Yu began to feel much better.

"You know it's fishy and yet you still drink it." Qi Chengzhi helped her out of the toilet.

Song Yu said softly, "My mom made it."

"I'll drink the rest," Qi Chengzhi said. "Your stomach is empty now, so you have to eat something."

Song Yu nodded. Qi Chengzhi drank all the soup so as not to waste it and popped a mint after because he was worried Song Yu might be unable to take the fishiness in his mouth.

After dinner, they went to the living room where Qi Chengzhi switched on the television and flipped through the channels. There was nothing interesting on the channels, so he stopped at one of the hotter and more recent series that told the story of struggle in a chamber of imperial concubines.

He stretched his leg and placed it on the coffee table. Song Yu leaned on his shoulder but was not paying much attention to the television.

She opened her WeChat Moments and saw a picture of two movie tickets that Qi Chengyue posted. They were for an American movie that just only hit the theaters but had already garnered considerable praise.

"We haven't gone for a movie in a long time," Song Yu said after thinking for a moment.

Qi Chengzhi looked at her and remembered the last time they went—in Hong Kong. He forgot what movie they watched but he remembered how he felt when he was intimately in contact with her at that time.

Back then her personality was so soft that it unleashed the lustful beast within him. She was trembling in his arm—the fragrance from his body filled the air around him, imprinting the delightful and seductive scent within his brain for the rest of his life.

Qi Chengzhi planted a kiss on her forehead and carried her to his lap. He wrapped her in her arms and marveled at the obedience she displayed when she was looking down at her phone. He looked at the screen and saw the name of the movie. "You want to watch too?"

"There's nothing to do anyway." Within his embrace, Song Yu leaned lazily against him. Her head was touching against his shoulder and her forehead was rubbing against his neck.

Qi Chengzhi smiled and lowered his gaze at her, admiring her fair-skinned face, conditioned from being at home those few days. Redness began surging up once more—her complexion was much more beautiful than before her marriage. Her skin meanwhile, felt even silkier and smoother.

"You want to watch it tonight?" Qi Chengzhi smiled. Both his lips were pressed against her reddened cheek, gently rubbing and caressing it.

Immediately after hearing his response, she booked the tickets using her phone. In order to prevent him from doing anything sneaky in the theater, she made a point to choose a seat in the large hall, one that was dead in the middle of the row. There were people left and right, which would stop him from doing anything naughty.

One look at the seating position and Qi Chengzhi knew what her intentions were. He snickered, pinched the phone with his slender fingers, then tossed it to one side. He then bent down and kissed her lips, practically sucking them into his mouth. The softness he felt then made him incredibly delighted, and after getting a taste of it, he could not bear to let it go.

Just like that, he hugged her and kissed her for a while. He looked at the television and bent down to kiss her again, feeling particularly content with himself.

"How about we buy a DVD and watch it at home? It's so comfortable here," Qi Chengzhi said as he thought about it. Thay way, he would switch off the lights. With the television lights being the only source of light in the darkness, he would hug her in his arms and grasp her soft body, kissing her everywhere. Simply thinking about it made him giddy with excitement. He felt that it was much better than going to the movies.

As he said that, his hand entered Song Yu's clothes.

Song Yu shivered and her face reddened. Docile and obedient, her body was trapped within his arms. She patted his chest in protest and said softly, "There's no such thing. I want to go to the movies."

Qi Chengzhi's thin lips traveled from Song Yu's eyes to the corner of her lips. He sucked on her upper lip and said, "I never said we weren't going."
